Maxim Chinese Restaurant
Waren hier schon öfters essen und sind immer sehr zufrieden. Die gerichte sind gut zubereitet und immer sehr gut gewürzt. Die frittierten Algen vorab sind ein toller Starter und Knusperspaß.
The restaurant itself is lovely, and was very busy on a Saturday night so you can see it’s very popular with locals. Service was swift and courteous. Unfortunately the food was quite bland, and not what I’m accustomed too with Chinese food. Also the Coca Cola they served was flat. When asked for a replacement drink they obliged but again the Coca Cola served was flat.
One of our favourites Chinese restaurant’s in London.
Had not been for a while but made to feel as welcome as we always were. Great food - the wontons are very good as is the duck with pancakes
Usually excellent we took our friends out for their wedding anniversary and enjoyed the set meal
By far the best Chinese, lucky to have it just round the corner. You have to try the ribs and salt and pepper prawns they’re incredible
Lovely evening for our group birthday celebration. Moved out of area so unable to visit for a while. Went back last week for friend’s birthday. Have really missed this place. Managers Jenny and Danny still there and were so lovely and welcoming. Great food as always. Lovely ambience. Great cosy atmosphere. Friendly service. Love this restaurant and can’t wait to go back. One of Ealing’s true gems.
We frequent Maximes, never disappointed, busy vibrant, great service and tasty fresh food.
Excellent food as always. Service is excellent. The atmosphere is excellent especially for Birthdays and for romantic meal. You want be disappointed as the menu has an excellent choice of food.
Have eaten here a few times and usually it’s ok but on this occasion the food was very disappointing and extremely salty. The service literally consists of someone just putting the plates on the table no interaction from the waiters at all.
A little bug bare of mine is when you order drinks and they pour it from a large bottle or a can but they keep what is remaining in the can for the next person and finally it’s way over priced so would not recommend it and will not be going back !!
The waiters were rude, we had to wait 15 minutes before being acknowledged we were there and then we had no prawn crackers to start with. The food was good but the service was rubbish.
No hot towels were even offered for out sticky fingers! The restaurant was not busy for a Friday evening so they had no excuse for the dreadful service. We were celebrating my birthday with the family and it got ruined!
Won’t be going back there again! Will not be recommending to anyone! Go elsewhere where cheaper, better food and service!!
Great food & service but the decibel levels were rather high. For some reason everyone seemed to want to shout.
My friends and I had a great time! It was the perfect spot to meet, and have a great chat while enjoying a delicious lunch. It was our second time at Maxim and no one had any complaint! Well done to the staff and chef who really made us feel welcome!
Great food and great service.
We've been going to Maxim's for 30 years for family occasions and they never disappoint. The crispy duck is to die for ! Service is always very professional and attentive.
It was average experience, service was week for the price we paid.
Wonderful dinner at Maxim’s. Food and service were brilliant as usual
Simply one of the best Chinese restaurants in London. Delicious food, great staff.
Excellent food as always! A true neighbour- hood gem
Food excellent as always. Waiter service very friendly once you are past the rather abrupt lady at the entrance!
This is truly a neighbourhood gem and attracts people from outside Ealing. We are never disappointed with the food!
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Maxim. The food was very tasty and portion sizes were generous. The set menu was great value as we received plenty of food but would have appreciated a more diverse range of dishes to choose from. Also it would have been nice to have more than 1 option for dessert to select from.
Food was very good. High prices but it is London so expected it.
Great food and service as always. No wonder it is always full!
As ever enjoyed a lovely family meal here not the cheapest restaurant but well worth the extra money.
Attentive staff and lovely food.
Can get very busy so advised to book
Very attentive staff and wonderful roast duck, which is served and shredded in front of you at the table with an abundance of extras that they replenish.
Maxim's was excellent as always! Great food, great service, buzzing restaurant.
Lovely place, very professional and courteous.
Staff are polite and very helpful.
The food is second to none.
I recommend it any time.
Great atmosphere for a girl's dinner. Food exceptional as usual.
Maxim restaurant is amazing for ambience and I absolutely love the food. The waiter was a bit clumsy assume he was new, but the floor manager was really nice and professional. I would recommend Maxim to anyone for just regular dinner or special occasions.
very good service and general experience very good.
A family favourite with great food and wine and a great manager
It was for my 60th birthday it was the wife and mine first experience of Maximes and we were not disappointed.
Excellent food and attentive service. Well done Maxim
Been going to Maxim for 10 years - never fails to please me! My friends loved the food, service and price! We will be back again soon
Delicious food, as always. A great evening. Thank you
One of the best Chinese restaurants around. Soft shell crab was particularly good.
I've been going to Maxims for probably 20 years now and it hasn't changed much which to me is a good thing. The food tastes good and the menu varied enough to try something new. The price is reasonable and service very (almost too) quick. Rather peculiarly the clientele appeared to have been going for the last 20 years like me and there weren't many younger people there which I would say was a shame as they are missing out. Keep it up.
Fantastic food at a reasonable price. Some of the staff are a little bit lively, especially when they have an excuse to sing happy birthday to someone but it's good fun and most of the diners join in anyway. Was rather too many children eating there though for 8pm on a Saturday.
