The service was superb with all meals carefully explained and with attention during dining. My husband and I choose chicken livers and goats cheese and spinach cigars with pita bread on the side and all was delicious. We both chose the lamb tagine but with different sauces- I opted for the vegetable one which was the most spicy one which was so tasty!! While but husband went for the ones with prunes and apricots and gave it the thumbs up. Both were piping hot (for me a must) and was served with couscous. We chose a dessert of a stack of crispy sweet filo pastry with vanilla ice cream between the layers- thoroughly enjoyed this and just the right amount of sweetness for hubby and I. We loved our dining experience and would recommend it to anyone wanting a restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere, delicious food, extensive menu and wine list and excellent service.
We love the food, it’s very tasty and authentic. Staff is very helpful and friendly
Go food and service is always amazing. Locals love this spot! Love the mint tea at the end!
Tasty food and excellent service. Highly recommended!
A party of 4 booked for Saturday evening. There was a very lively atmosphere which was nice for the weekend. We all had mains and all had pudding. Service was great and we didn't have to wait long for our food. I would go back. We had 3 bottles of wine, 4 mains, 3 puddings and an irish coffee. The bill came to £150 which wasn't bad. My brother in law loved the harissa and was given some to take home for free - nice touch!
Delicious food, excellent, friendly service. Very nice decor, and reasonable prices.
Fantastic service and food. The staff are really attentive and make you feel so welcome.
Would recommend to anyone visiting Windsor..
Had a marvelous evening, totally relaxing. Lovely food and friendly service. Very happy customer
Very welcoming, not rushed allowed to feel relax and waiter was friendly and helpful great atmosphere definitely recommend it 👍
Highly recommended! Had a fantastic lunch here the food is authentic and high quality. We had several tapas plates to start and the Tagine for main. But the best part is the waiting staff who were attentive and made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Already planning when to go back next
Food was great, service excellent, will definitely be returning
Delightful staff perfect food. My husband and I were visiting Windsor with my son and his vegan girlfriend. We had three of the shared small plates (they were indeed small): aubergines, carrots and meatballs then a large dishes (a vegan lentil tagine, a vegetarian butternut tagine, a lamb brochette and goats cheese salad). At the end they brought a lovely mint tea and we were all very happy.
Really enjoyed it, excellent service and the lamb tagine was delicious.
The staff were really friendly and attentive, couldn't fault them at all. The selection of food on offer was varied and traditional. Pleased to say that it was delicious too.
It did get very busy whilst we were eating so I would definitely recommend booking a table.
The food was lovely, very fresh ingredients and authentic tagines. All the staff were very attentive and made sure we were catered for.
Its a very relaxed atmosphere nicely busy and buzzy, just what i like.
Staff were very nice and the sharing small plates where definitely the way to go!
Very enjoyable. Would go again. Service outstanding
Couldnt have chosen a better place to celebrate a birthday. Food was wonderful and service was amazing.
First time at restaurant and would definitely go back.
Service and food was excellent.
Surely one if not the best in Windsor
Eight of us went to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. They were happy to present the cake we had brought with us and gave us some lovely Moroccan liqueur to finish off. A easy place to relax and enjoy yourself. Not too expensive for what you get either.
Service was great. Cool local spot. Food was pretty good, although looked better than it tasted. The couscous was bland although not bad. Food was pricey, drinks were reasonable. Would return, but was hoping for just a bit more on the food.
Had a reservation but got a table in the middle of the walkway so we left before ordering after waiters and other customers had bumped the table several times. After we left the waiter "suddenly" had another better table and came after us. However, we decided to go somewhere else.
We only eat here once or twice a year and each time we do we wonder why we don't eat here more!! The food is great but the staff are just amazing... will be back again soon...
We have eaten in Meimos several times and I can highly recommend the lamb tagine. My husband had the chicken tagine which was equally delicious.
The service is excellent friendly and consistent. Good value for money and local so winwin all round.
A good value lunch on a Saturday (just make sureyou are offered the 'lunch menu' vs A la Carte)
Good service, food, wine & a really buzzy atmosphere
Also works for my other half as plenty of Gluten Free options
We'll be back
The welcome was warm and friendly from the waiters and the host. Service was quick and efficient and the food was delicious the restaurant its self seemed to be clean and was warm I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants good value hearty food
Restaurant was cold and had no atmosphere. The starters were over priced. We ordered a side salad of tomato and red onion - it consisted of 5 slices of tomato and a sprinkle of red onion. Poor for £3. The lamb tagine was nice but it didn't come with any extras/veg' - again over priced at £16. My husband came away from there feeling hungry.
Nice food nice wine and great service! The waiter had a keen ear and was quick to make good recommendations on what we were trying to decide. Overall cost was pretty good to be honest i drank Moroccan red wine 🍷 which was very nice (half carafe) . My wife drank prosecco and we had a large selection of small plates. Five i think with dessert, wasn't much over 60 pounds. Calamari and hummus was lovely and the pastille briouat we'd never had before and we're also a joy to eat... thumbs up for the waiter he was really good 😊 which i why i left a generous tip. Would definitely return!
Good, quick service for a pre-theatre birthday dinner. Delicious food and pleasant surroundings. A really enjoyable experience. Highly recommended.
We had lunch at Meimo, it was reasonably busy with a nice atmosphere and the staff were excellent. Attentive without being in your face, we had a young child with us and they couldn't have been more helpful. The kids menu was really good and a reasonable price. Our lunch was very tasty and the wine was really good! We will be back, so pleased to have found this place!
Great food, lovely decor and warm, relaxed service. Had a great time and will come again.
A group of 8 friends visiting windsor to celebrate a 70th birthday booked online at meimo. When we arrived they had kindly set up 2 different tables for 8 people and we were able to choose which one. Thought that was a very nice gesture. We had a very relaxed evening with very attentive staff and excellent food andwine. We will definately go back to meimo if we visit windsor again. Thankyou for making a very special birthday a lovely memory.
Friendly and efficient service, great food, good value. Enough said!
A little disappointing. We were there for lunch with friends. Not busy and as a result not much atmosphere. The waiter was friendly and helpful. We had a selection of tapas - all of which were Ok but not outstanding. We were not give the lunch special menu (starter and main) but did see it. Maybe we'll try some of the mains next time and go in the evening.
good food and service at a good price. would definitely go again . had the meze platter. was not hungry after.
I really enjoyed my visit here, the food was good, the venue is very well decorated and reminds me of Morocco. I would definitely recommend going here and try the meatballs and tiramisu.
An excellent and busy restaurant, providing a great selection of Mediterranean and Moroccan food. The staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable.
I would go there again (so long as I can get a table), it was full when we left!
Table was booked for 9PM we weren't seated until after 9.30 and pushed into ordering drinks while we waited.
Got a complimentary bottle of wine in the end.
Not impressed by the Arabian / Mediterranean laissez faire attitude of staff
Good menu of a wide variety of Morrocan food, especially the small plates. Very lively atmosphere and a host with a welcoming sense of humour. Service excellent despite being a full house, and a complementary digestif was a nice touch
