Excellent and knowledgeable service, truly delicious and inventive food, loved it!
Fab vibey restaurant, food was delicious and staff were excellent
Excellent food & service. Hoping to visit again soon with friends. Staff were very nice. Loved every thing about it
We really enjoyed the meal. Every dish tasted unique and was delicious. When the food arrived I spent 5 minutes focused that amazing naan before moving on to anything else as it was so good! The aloo and paneer balls were light and tasty, and the Nazani Lamb Handi main had an amazing thick sauce and fell apart on the fork. Our spicy style chicken karahi was very distinctive and a great complement to everything else we had. The service was exceptional and we also treated ourselves to some of the wine list and had a very memorable date!
Memsaab was brilliant as always. Consistently the best Indian restaurant in Nottingham and one of the best restaurants overall in the city too.
Great service. Amazing chutneys and vegetarian starters.
Excellent as always
Excellent. Totally amazing food
As always the food was amazing, great service, really good social distancing measures put in place.
Very nice restaurant which had a nice feel to it. First thing was that we were temperature checked on the way in which was very reassuring, but done in a very friendly / cordial way.
Food was very nice, good quality meat in the dishes and not too stodgy.
Only points I could fault were that we were served a bit too quickly (odd thing to complain about I know!) but just felt a little rushed! Also not the cheapest, which wasn’t an issue given the quality but just to be aware that this will cost more than the average indian cuisine.
Food and drinks were amazing. Service was sub parr considering it’s an award winning restaurant.
The food was good and so was the wine also the service was great.
We booked a table for two and on arrival we was taken right to the back of the restaurant it was so far out of the way I thought was being taken to the kitchen.
The last time I came here it had a really good authentic feeling but in this back area it felt like a cafe.
Absolutely mind blowing food on offer for their Valentine’s menu with incredible customer service to boot. Staff were so friendly and we were asked often if we were enjoying ourselves, with the staff not being afraid to engage in some friendly banter.
For an upscale restaurant, the atmosphere was beautifully pleasant. No snobbery or anything here if you’re worried about that sort of thing. Memsaab gives you a high end, fine dining experience without the judgment.
Highly, highly recommend.
Everyone thinks they have "the best Indian restaurant" quality these days thanks to social media is much better than say 10 years ago. Memsaab is a step up from any decent or even good restaurant.
From the excellent welcome, timely service which was attentive but never intrusive and simply outstanding cuisine the experience is fantastic. The favourites are all here, but the menu is less extensive than many, a reflection of the attention to detail and delivering great dishes to consistent standards. Flavours seemed more subtle, no single addition to a dish overwhelmed any other flavour, the lamb was beatifully soft and flavoursome, the breads fresh, hot and tasty.
Memsaab clearly does not set out to be a budget venue, the decor, space and service are all first class and this does come at a higher cost than most, but the thing is....it's worth every penny.
Suberb from start to finish. Fab food and reasonable price. Staff are so obliging and go an extra mile for you. Best Indian.
It’s an exceptional restaurant but I must say the new year eve food was way below it’s usual standard. I will still use the restaurant throughout the year but never again at new year as I was exceptionally disappointed at the quality of the food served compared to its usual standards. Should be utterly ashamed of themselves as they know as well as I do how much better the food can be.
Always great food and very attentive service
Delicious food and amazing setvice.
Best Indian restaurant outside India
Food was as good as the top Indian restaurant in London
We went to Memsaab with high expectations and we weren't disappointed
Can't wait to return
Great meal - very stylish
Fantastic experience from start to finish. Were lucky enough to attend during Diwali celebrations which gave it an even better ambience. Exceptional food (and lots of it), excellent service and really good value for money. Topped off by the fact that when I booked it I said we were there to celebrate a birthday and they brought over some lovely cheesecake and a sparkling candle. Overall, wonderful visit and will definitely be back
It was wonderful as usual. Hadn’t been in a while mainly because I hadn’t been out. It’s the best Indian restaurant there is
Probably the best Indian restaurant in Nottingham. I have been going there for several years and went again recently, after a gap of a couple of years. I was delighted to find that the quality of the menu and the cooking remain very high. I had Boti Padina to start and Nizam Lamb Handi for my main course. Both were new to me and both were excellent. The Boti Padina was one of the best starters I've ever had in an Indian restaurant - succulent, delicately spiced lamb cooked to perfection. The Nizam was almost as good with a moderately hot spiced sauce which had a pleasantly satisfying heat that kicked in as an afterthought, giving plenty of time to appreciate the subtle but forceful flavour.
It's always good to see a restaurant maintaining the same high standards over a period of years and Memsaab is one of the few that has succeeded.
Great food, well served.
Great food & service to celebrate my wife’s birthday, they even made us our favourite egg curry.
Great service and fabulous food. Would definitely recommend it.
Wonderful dinner and fantastic service as always. Can't recommend enough!
Very accommodating venue, as we had to increase the number of guests at short notice -thank you very much
Wonderfully served by lovely staff
We will surely return highly recommend ✨✨✨✨✨
Excellent food and service. Indian food that is based around great taste, not just heat and will good service. Highly recommended.
Fantastic food. High quality and very tasty. Excellent service with a genuine smile. Lovely balance of great fine dining and still a personable touch.
Outstanding food and service as always. Will be back soon.
Nice birthday treat. Food was excellent and advice from staff very good. Would definitely go again.
The food was excelent and well presented. we were not rushed in anyway. The service was just as good and the little thing matter to them.
Lovely Indian food in the centre of Nottingham. :-)
Mother’s Day dinner. Told only limited special menu on site. Food was good. But plates VERY dirty, guess their dishwasher was faulty. Staff were nice. Probably won’t go again until their dishwasher is back to work.
Absolutely I would recommend to anyone who likes Indian food
Bit more expensive than we`ve paid in other good curry restaurants, however seeing how everything and most importantly the food is faultless i`m not complaining, and we go every month so that says it all.
