Went for the Sunday buffet - fantastic authentic food, with lovely helpful staff and a great atmosphere (including live mariachi band!).
Can’t recommend enough.
Disappointing. Having been told that this was a lovely restaurant we booked for the 12 Sunday buffet. You go downstairs to queue for a choice of quesadilla They were average but the sauces were good. Then upstairs you can have a choice of soups. The two we tried were very tasty. The mains were warm and fairly average. Tamarind water was delicious.
The staff were taking our plates the minute we put our cutlery down whether we had finished or not and the bill was on the table before any desert was offered. When I asked what it was I was brusquely told it was nice and I would enjoy it. Well it was nice even though there was no choice and we felt greedy for even asking for it.
We finished our meal within the two hours but felt rushed the entire time. I understand the A la carte is much better but just don't know if I can risk not feeling particularly welcome. I would recommend the restaurant but not the buffet.
Food is wonderful as ever and it is real Mexican food (no fajitas o burritos sorry)
Huge menu, something for everyone. Really impressed with the vegan menu as well. Drinks are delicious, and helpful staff recommended things for us to try. Excellent experience.
The food was really amazing. Very authentic and great value. However, the staff was rushing us to order and finish eating so the next table could come in. Felt rushed and awkward at the end
Amazing food and great service. Staff were great and very welcoming
Lovely hosts. The tacos and other starters are definitely worth it. The margaritas are blended smoothly so you can not tell the alcohol apart. Recommend the arrenchera.
not the best place for a first date. The level of noise is a bit higher than you would like for a first date.
Meal before catching the Caledonian Sleeper at Euston just 5 minutes walk away.
Staff is awesome but they don’t have chips and salsa :(
Food is really superb, atmosphere really warm and welcoming. It was our 2nd time, and we will go bakc!
Great Margaritas and amazing food. The service was also top notch.
I suggest visiting the place from Monday to Saturday. Food quality and variety for Sunday’s brunch is limited and could improve.
Fabulous tacos and starters. We will definitely return again.
Disappointing. My husband and I went here for my birthday meal at 3:30 on a Saturday. We got a sitter and traveled 50 mins each way bcs I have been craving Mexican for forever (I’m American and 30 weeks pregnant) I informed it was my bday when I booked. This was the most celebrating we were doing so I was very excited. Unfortunately got to witness the hoopla for another table but mine never came.
I asked 2 different servers for Salsa and tortillas at the beginning and after apps but never received. My husband ordered a side of chorizo with the apps. When we were ordering our mains we asked where it was (along with the salsa and tortillas) but were told it was never put in and we actually couldn’t get it by itself without ordering as a taco dish-fine but would have been nice if the first server had informed us of that 30mins prior.
The flautas were delicious but they sale those next door in the market with all the trimming so I’d buy and make at home if I lived closer as they are frozen. Tamales, tostada, jaladas, mole verde, pastel leches were all just okay but pretty bland. The we’re out of the chile rellenos “because they are so delicious “ our server says! Thanks. You’d think they would have plenty for a Saturday.
The churros were delicious. The Pastel de queso is described as a baked cream cheese and coconut cheese cake but literally is a scoop of cream cheese with coconut flakes- definitely not baked! Ugh
I could see going here if you live close by but not worth the hype.
AMAZING. Could not fault in any way; we ordered so much food and sat through it all! Happy full bellies ❤️
I recommend EVERYTHING
Excellent authentic food, good atmosphere. Recommended
The food was good. The service terrible. I had to go to the bar to order my drinks. I had to ask twice to get the menu. They served the wrong dish so had to wait further while what I ordered was ready. Drinks are good.
Food was lovely, had a great time. Not too sure about the drinks. but overall i loved it.
Good food in a nice restaurant. Portion size was OK.
I've been a regular customer so it's sad to see a drop in the food quality, and a very poor service. The staff were slow, clueless, and never came back when we asked for something. We were also suddenly asked to pay the bill and leave as they were busy, and obviously overbooked.
Lovely restaurant excellent food and atmosphere
The food was lovely - so happy to have genuine Mexican food in London. The shop next door is also great. The service could be better: we weren’t left waiting and food came very quickly but the servers were not the friendliest. Not a huge complaint tho so still 4* for service.
Great authentic food, good value for money. The only negative was that the servers were rushing us to get in our orders.
Found this place a few weeks ago and brought friends back this time. Those friends are now looking at being their other friends in future. Tells you all you need to know. Check out their supermarket next door too.
Lovely restaurant with excellent, authentic food. The service was great, including personalised drink recommendations from the head barman, Alvin. It wasn't the first time we've been there and it won't be the last.
I was recommended the restaurant by a friend whose wife is Mexican and it’s safe to say that the food is really good and worth every penny.
Fantastic Mexican. More than just the obvious “taco bar”. Great choices, great food, great service. Highly recommend.
My friend and I shared a molcajete (chicken, with chorizo, cheese and nopales in a citrous-y sauce served in a hot stone pot) and it was delicious. For dessert we had churros... to my surprise they didn't come with chocolate but caramel and custard... they were divine!
My margarita on the rocks was fantastic.
I enjoyed the place as the music was a pleasant variety of modern and traditional Mexican tunes.
The staff were well very helpful (I had to ask about degrees of spiciness and cocktails with no ice).
I will definitely be back.
Everything was excellent! Friendly service, good Mexican options for eating delicious, prices are convinient according to the quality in drinking and food.
Highly recommend if you want to experience a Mexican night!!!
the food is delicious, the drinks are amazing. I love the ambiance. I couldn't recommend this restaurant anymore
Great food choices and the margarita menu is amazing! Waiters were really friendly and on the ball.
Absolutely amazing restaurant. The food is incredible and authentic.
The Jalapeño margarita blew our heads off!
We arrived about 20 mins early so we were told we could sit down early downstairs but the downstairs area did not have the same ambience so we had a drink by the bar whilst waiting. When we were seated we ordered from the gluten free menu and the food arrived very quickly. It was cold but the plate was hot, which only means one thing - microwaved! Generally the service was friendly but real shame the food has gone downhill. Used to be good.
Delicious food, amazing happy hour cocktails and really friendly staff! The food was so authentic and great atmosphere! Would definitely recommend. Can't wait to visit again!
Enjoyed our meal here, but service could be improved.
Restaurant was empty bar 1 other table when we arrived, but was full when we left ... noisy so not the place for a quiet meal (not an issue for us)
Menu is only accessible via QR code which was a bit of a pain as you have to keep jumping between sections for drinks / food / desserts / tequila.
Had to ask to call a waiter over to place a drinks order and again for food.
We skipped starters & our mains arrived quickly ... my wife enjoyed her Pollo Sinaloense very much indeed but my Pollo Ticul is best avoided - totally bland with a watery sauce swimming on the plate &
