I haven't been here in years (moved too far away) but we made a special trip before the Covid shut down on 12/7. Even with all the restrictions in place, the staff was great, food was incredible and atmosphere was wonderful! They did a great job in making the outdoor seating under the tent, feel comfortable and inviting. The chandeliers were a nice touch! Our server Johnny was attentive, super friendly and nice. As soon as we're allowed to, we're definitely going back!
Yummy food great service 🤩🤩🤩🤩
We had my birthday luncheon at Mi Piaci the afternoon of the L.A. County lock-down.
The place was abuzz with people. The service was great; the food was even better. I had a special cocktail (well...2 of them) which was the most delicious thing I've ever had--Blackberry something. All of this was, of course, at tables on the street. But it was very well organized and so nice. I hope they make it through the lockdown. Because I'll be back when all this Corona stuff is over.
There was this one male that sat us in the beginning that was also a waiter looked Russian was very rude and said maybe I don’t want to help you. I don’t appreciate his bad attitude especially in this pandemic. Then a new server came to help us and he was great.
I have always eaten at Mi Piace and this is the first time the food was not good. The breakfast was cold and not tasty as always. The table was sticky and dirty. It was not a good experience. I will give it another chance when we get back to normal, because I used to love Mi Piace's food.
The pizza that I had was one of the best . The service was ok I had to ask 3 times for a soda refill other than that no complaints.
We went to Mi Piace during the Pandemic and had to sit at tables outside, but the heat
lamps were very good and so was the food and service. No ambience when you're outside on the street--but the Sinatra music was able to be heard everywhere.
We'd definitely return again.
Really slow service and couldn’t even order dessert since we hit the 90 minute limit. It took about 80 minutes to get our entrees. We enjoyed our dinner here in the past but the food came out cold. Very disappointing experience.
it took us a while to dine here again and glad thing we did! we both loved what we ordered. i got the linguine pesto and it is the best pesto ive ever had! i also tried their tiramisu and i wasnt disappointed! overall great outdoor dining experience for us :)
The service was slow - I would understand but I tried getting the attention of my server and buss boys several times. The calamari was horrible - there was only two pieces of octopus. I was also overcharged on my bill. I was on a date and I didn’t say anything but would love to be contacted by the manager to discuss further.
Great food and service as always. Love the new outdoor set up. They do have a limit of how long you can keep sitting at your table, but very understandable during this time.
We waited an hour after our reservation time. Waiters didn’t get our order right and the quality of the food wasn’t at its best. Raviolis were super sweet.
One of my fav place but not this time.
Service was eh. Food was ok.
Hostess could sat us against the wall but she didn’t and that wasn’t cool. I saw some favoritism. So I’ll chill from here for now.
Not safe with covid as I was sitting on the sidewalk and people walking and talking over us within less than a feet.
I had a wonderful time. The waiters were polite, the service was speedy and efficient. The food was exquisite and the dessert was to die for. Would highly recommend this establishment for your perfect date night.
Prawns were excellent!! Server was fantastic and omg the butternut squash ravioli!!
We drove from Manhattan Beach just to enjoy a dinner al fresco due to the outdoor dining restrictions imposed (again) in LA County. Let me tell you. It was well worth the drive.
We had a lovely table under a white tent. We ordered the Italian Job and Blackberry Fizz (?) to start along with our own two bottles of red (minimal corkage fee).
As soon as we were served, we were thrilled to hear Dean Martin’s “Ain’t That a Kick in the Head” and we just knew it would be a good night!
My date and I shared the Caesar salad, escargot, and the Osso Bucco with mushroom risotto - all phenomenal. So tasty. Mouth watering good - especially the escargot with crusty bread and the osso with mushroom risotto. My date usually dislikes risotto (calling it soggy rice), but this was anything but. It was a delight. My sister had the shrimp scamp and her hubby the lobster with spaghetti. He had to work for that lobster but he said it was worth it, just like our drive.
Our server was solicitous without being obsequious. We had to be gently cajoled to leave (time limit due to Covid), but they were very kind about it.
We then walked around Old Town a bit and it was lovely. We will return, without a doubt.
Party of 4. Very slow service. Not the server’s fault. Pretty crowded outdoors on a Saturday night. Took forever to get drinks from the bar. Food came out slowly. Had to ask numerous times for things. Very pretty outdoor setting with patio heaters & chandeliers. Chicken piccata was outstanding. Escargot & Caesar salad were very good. Strip steak was over cooked & dry. Very good pumpkin pie. We are happy they are OPEN!
I love this restaurant , absolutely love the food however this time the service was horrible
We had to ask for a simple straw 5 times , my water cup was dirty with dried food inside n outside
I asked for a replacement
3 times and had the waitress finally take it
But never received a replacement glass.
I hope this doesn’t happen often only because I love this restaurant
Great food and great service! I really enjoyed the thanksgiving specials there such as the lobster pasta and the French onion soup.
My first time here, it was great and my server was well taking good care of us and making my boyfriend birthday unforgettable.
Understood due to COVID that own expencice would be different. Wait service was slow as our waitress was cleanly stretched too far with too manny tables and people bunched up too closely at the reception checkin area,
Only Italian place I would go to being my family is from Italy ! Service was so amazing Frank is such a great server and Ruth the hostess was so kind . It was cold and they brought out heat lamps to accommodate! 10/10 experience! Also the owner personally came to ask how we were doing and how we liked the dinner so authentic to the Italian culture
It was nice, good food, excellent service.
Great place to meet with friends. The service is excellent and the food delicious.
We were seated outside because of covid-19 , therefore people walked by asking for money and skateboarders skating bye
Great food! So happy we were able to make a reservation here. Our server Frank was great too!
Great food! Very glad we got to eat outdoors before the outdoor dining shutdown!
Always great service! And the food is absolutely amazing!!!
Comfortable, Covid compliant, and great food!
Excellent food and Drinks! Loved my Piscatorie! and Stockhome 62!
Always great and reliable
The food was great as usual. However, we had a 7:15 pm reservation and were not seated until 8:20 pm. We were text that our table was ready and then were left standing by the door another 15 minutes as the hostesses just kept walking by us after we checked in.
Lovely place with lots of business. Had to wait even with reservations but not too long. Food is outstanding but the service isn’t great. Our waiter forgot about us a few times. Not a big deal, the food makes up for it.
They need new
Understand because of the pandemic restaurants are having to adjust to policies and being able to take in customer. Nevertheless NEVER EVER put anyone willing to pay their hard earned money in some made up section that has no decent ambiance. Because it sucked for me and my beautiful date...
First time...but not the last great meal
Food is really good. Bread not so much. Especially when they charge your 2.00 bucks for it. Service is really poor. Servers disappear for long periods of time. You also feel rushed to leave so that they can turn the tables over . These are the things I would have wanted to know before dining here.
Always a great experience definitely recommend
Came here few years ago and left with great impressions. Came back the other day during quarantine, I know it’s hard period of time but the quality of the food is just very disappointed, the 50 dollar veal ribs were so over cooked , mushroom pizza had super dry dough and oily topping, taste every boring for a 20 dollar pizza. Won’t be back.
