We went for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The service was exceptional. Big hugs to our waiter who was celebrating his wedding anniversary the next day. The resturant itself was very busy and we had a late table booking (9pm) I do think it was because it was Saturday as to why is was quite busy. I do feel that we was pushed into choosing the fish etc etc. The fish we had was lovely but could of been better. Ideally I would of had the salmon and my partner would of had the Octupus. However the entire experience was wonderful. Thank you for making it special
one of the best Greek restaurants in London fresh fish good ambiance
Visiting from Chicago, had an amazing experience. Service and food were wonderful.
A tourist restaurant masquerading as fine dining. Gimmicky - 'heres the squid you are about to eat', 'let me put some thyme leaves in the oil for your bread' Food is ok cooked, its extortionately expensive - if you want to charge £100/ head without wine it has to be fantastic. Its very average. Strongly advise would be customers to make the 10 min extra walk down to Piccadily and the Wolseley. This is another Gaucho, and will probably go bust in a similar way for similar reasons.
Great food and service as usual. Fresh products, fast efficient service
Ristorante interessante cibo discreto .
Purtroppo personale troppo giovane e poco educato.
Nel parlare tra loro usavano parole poco consoni e volgari.
Mi spiace molto perché andrebbero controllati
Been here 3 times in 2 weeks. May favorite rest in london.
Really good fresh fish and an amazing range to choose from. Service is always good. Ideal for pre- theatre, although that menu could do with an update occasionally.
The service at Milos was abysmal.
We had an extremely unpleasant experience despite having excellent food.
The waiters are un attentive and under delivered on the following:
- Our wine bottles were placed far away and it took a few minutes of begging to get wine after a glass was empty
- The waiters did not explain, prepare, or serve any of the food
- They forgot one of our main courses which they had actually written down when taking the order
- It took a few minutes to get the attention of a waiter whenever needed despite having several around at all times
- When inquiring about how to consume a the Carabinieros, a waiter told us how unprofessional his colleague was for just dropping the plate of the table without explaining
I have eaten at Milos in several cities. The food in London is just as good but the waiter was rude. Coincidentally it was the second time I had the same waiter and both times he was equally rude. This time we spoke to the manager and he took the service off the check. In London there is a lot of competition for high end restaurants. Milos needs to look after the service provided to their guests if they want return business.
Milos never fail to deliver excellence in every aspect of ones dining experience.
lunch menu: truly excellent starter - main was a bit dull - pudding not bad but overall great VFM. lovely place but service was a little slow - ok as we were chatting lots...
Staff were very nice. But overall service was disorganised. At the beginning several people asking the same things. Then later completely inattentive and disorganised. My Girlfriend said that NY Milos was way better.
Table we had felt very small.
Would not go there again. So much choice in London
I went to Milos to celebrate my BFF B-day, I was extremelly tired... btw we felt like princesses thanks to "Angelo" (cannot remember the name in Greek)the place was fantastic, food like heaven as usuall , definetely one of my favourites places in London, the overall experience plus this lovely gentleman that provide and excellent service just made my day honestly! Thanks "Angelo" for all the attention and love given, Milos is so lucky to have you.
Love this place. Service is super friendly and food is delicious
One of the best globally. I am a frequent customer in NYC. This was my first trip to the London location. Top notch across the board. Impeccable food and service. One of the worlds great restaurants.
Very overpriced for average food and wine. Pleasant staff but they brought the wrong starter. Would not go again, nothing special.
Great food at reasonable prices. All the staff we have interacted with are very professionally trained and courteous. All in all, it was a wonderful experience. We will definitely be coming back again for pre and post theatre meals.
Third time that I’ve been to Milos and it has always been outstanding. Definitely have the Milos Special (aubergine tower) and the octopus.
As usual the food was great. The service was very polite but let down by forgetting one of the starters we were looking forward to having and took ages to serve the fish! The Ambience has taken a nosedive as the table we were allocated was in an area where chairs were touching other tables chairs and there was no space to move. I was also assured we had one of the nicest tables in the restaurant for a special occasion and it turned out to be lies. Did not appreciate that but as I was with guests I did not wish to make a fuss! Will I return? Not sure!
We enjoyed a business lunch there. The set lunch menu is excellent value. The fish is fantastic! Service was impeccable.
First visit at Milo’s London. I’ve been a big fan of their Montreal and NYC adresses for years and the london location is another great addition to the portfolio.
Cudos to the Milo’s team
Sunday lunch for two- lunch menu is good value, if you al la Carte it gets pretty expensive- the wines by the glass are good, lots of Greek wines you probably can’t find elsewhere. Fourth visit to Milos, previous meal was better, but would still go back.
Weekend lunch deal is fantastic value for money. Try the Milos spcials and Lobster spaghetti. Out of thr world.
Great food. Do try out the aubergine courgette chips it’s smashing!! All the food ordered was great, friendly staff, great experience overall. Will visit again.
I never thought I would be stuffed by having seafood. Fantastic restaurant and great service. Particularly pleased by the fact that you can go up to the “fish market” and pick the seafood you want and tell the chef how to cook them. Definitely going again
Fresh, tasty food served by very friendly staff. Excellent choice for fish lovers.
Excellent sea food cooked and presented very well polite well informed staff
Friends catch us
Fabulous as always. Staff are always so friendly and helpful. Food is amazing and fresh. What more could you ask for?
Great atmosphere of a Mediterranean restaurant in the centre of London!
I love this restaurant. Bit expensive but they do a fairly priced lunch menu. Always good quality food.
Wonderful fresh fish for my friends with deliciousl vegies and amazing Greek salad for vegetarian me. Grest service and ambiance! Love it!
Everything was grate from the moment i got inside the restaurant
The personal very friendly and professional
Food was great as well
I m vegan but they made a great job to please me too😊
So thank u all for the beautiful evening i ve had there
Fabulously buzzy restaurant with great food. Sadly there is a but. It is eye-wateringly expensive. Even staying off the grilled fish mains (and we did this deliberately) you won’t get away with under £100 a head for a satisfying meal. Given that we are an island, it just seems somewhat unnecessary to ship in every piece of fish from Greece. We do have John Dory in the British Isles! This is our second visit. The service this time round was very inconsistent.
The fish is great, but overpriced (which we knew). Service is ok, but not comparable to NY outlet. I like the place nevertheless, which may be my fault )
The early evening menu at Milos was excellent value - very good quality salmon tartare and lamb chops, beautifully presented. Service was attentive, excellent wines including Greek wines which was a treat.
What an incredible array of fresh fish to light up any occasion. This is a Greek bearing untold gifts. Highly recommend
Beautiful, busy and noisy room. We were taken to a table next to the open kitchen which we found unsatisfactory. Next we were taken upstairs to a corner table on the banquet which was a series of very close tables for two. It turned out well because we had a great time with the couple next to us, since it felt like we were at the same table. Had they been unfriendly it could have been uncomfortable because we were THAT close. The food was very good and very expensive. I’m not sure I’d go back even though it was very good. Bill was $500.00 and we had two appetizers and whole fish. No dessert. Two drinks and a bottle of fairly inexpensive wine.
Top quality ingredients, excellent knowledge of the dishes and fish. Classic focus on buzz for food rather than rather than the other way around
