Aggressive and unfriendly staff who don't make you feel welcome. We were seated in front of the waiter's order station upstairs in a restaurant that was half empty - why? I had wilted garnish on my main dish and `crispy potatoes' turned out to be just fries. The lunch menu is good value for money but if the restaurant is going to offer this they should be gracious about it, or raise the price and do it well, or not at all. Not the way to treat diners if they want repeat business.
My Parents had a fantastic time celebrating a key milestone. Perfect setting for a special time.
Every time I go to Milos to have the salted fish, they say sorry we don’t have a 1.5kg fish only the 2kg and it is too much to serve for two! What if I will take the remaining back home?! I have been to Milos twice just to try the salted fish and with the intensity of the waiters I didn’t try it. I don’t think I will be back.
My fourth visit to Milos was excellent. The food is magnificent. The staff are outstanding and more than enough of them. Nothing is too much trouble. The venue is busy, authentic and buzzy.
A key feature is the fish and seafood display. Fresh produce is flown in from Greece. I know this because I wanted to have red mullet fried, a Greek speciality, but was told the plane carrying it had just landed at Heathrow and so it would be another hour and a half before it arrived at the restaurant. No worries, plenty of other excellent choices.
Do try the Milos special starter (plenty for two). It's spectacular. The octopus dish is amazing. The Carabinieros with Sherry shots is delicious.
One slightly muted word of warning. It's not cheap! But worth it.
Enjoyable but with a bill of £360 for two people , not enjoyable enough for that price. Certainly once bitten twice shy
Wonderful service and excellent food from the pre-theatre menu.
Everything is so fresh and beautifully served - would definitely recommend.
I had a great lunch at Milos. Grilled octopus was outstanding and a must try. Lamb chops and seabass were great too. Can't wait to go back. Friendly service and good atmosphere.
Absolute incredible. The service and the overall experience was amazing. Definetely recommend it. I will come back. :)
Honestly the food there is so fresh and organic so everything taste 100x better!! It’s a must go to restaurant
Amazing food, excellent service, great location!
As always food amazing - even though we ordered from the weekend lunch time special. We added extras from the a la Carte which makes the bill very much more expensive.
The main reason to go to this Greek restaurant in Lower Regent Street is their seafood market. I have never seen so many different fish displayed. The staff are on hand to assist and recommend which is extremely helpful!!
This is a sharing restaurant. I was part of a group of 4. We shared deep fried courgette flowers stuffed with feta, followed by a huge (forgettably named) grilled fish. The waiter took it upon himself to remove the bones and divide the flesh into four equal portions. This was disappointing as we were not asked if that's what we wanted, and any group of 4 diners are not going to all want exactly the same quantity of food. However, the fish was definitely delicious!!
Deserts, again shared, consisted of baklava, Greek yogurt, honey and fruit compote.
I will go again, but will ensure that I have the fish served whole on the table. That's much more fun.
it s one of the expensive of London Restaurants but fresh fish , good ,professional and also friendly service, good ambiance, it was very hot inside that night..
the only negative thing from my side, they offered very bad table first , when we rejected thay gave a better one.. it was a celebration dinner with the family ...
at least they changed that changed the table..this is also good point..
The food and service were acceptable. Air conditioning was week that made us feel uncomfortable.
Unfortunately the Aircon was broken on the hottest day of the year.
we booked we arrived and were met with the news that there was no gas and therefore no cooked food
they insist on all your contact details so the least they could do is notify customers so they could decide whether to come or not
total lack of consideration
OK, it's expensive but Milos has the greatest selection of the absolutely freshest and best quality fish in London. Try to get a table right next to the fish counter. It's all there on display and what you choose is what gets cooked for you. We usually have small starters or a couple of carabineros each followed by a large fish which was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The efficient staff were attentive and very helpful when it came to choosing the fish.We were given a tiny canape of Avgotáracho (Greek Bottarga) which was seriously delicious. I eat out in fish restaurants very often in central London. This is easily the best. We go back regularly and have never been let down. UPDATE Autumn 2017 still going back regularly and it's just as good as it always has been. Push the boat out and have a couple of carabineros; so much better than lobster. You won't find better in London and you should eat at least one before you die! - Summer 2018 - still on top form and the staff are great!
All ingredients very fresh and good quality, but fish was a bit overcooked and dry.
Excellent sea food and excellent gastronomic experience for Greek cuisine lovers
Fabulous food and service and the lunch menu was exceptionally good value for money - will definitely return
Just the best - as always. Service, food - everything is excellent
I love Milos but this time the experience was poor due to s very busy waiter. Took two hours to get the fish and it was over cooked. The waiter took it off the bill but I expected the food to be perfect as it usually is
Deliciosa cena, mariscos y pescados muy frescos. Magnifica atención por parte del personal. Preciosa decoracion. Los precios son altos pero la calidad de los alimentos lo vale.
Amazing, amazing,amazing... Best food ever and wherever in the world.
Food is just a wow during all the course of the dinner.
From starters to desert, food is simply outstanding and uncomparable to any other restaurant that i have experienced so far in my life.
Cannot wait to go again.
Excellent experience but expensive. The Seabass was cooked to perfection! It was our 27th Wedding Anniversary, outstanding evening!
If the pricing is addressed I would go more often. If not, special occasions only...
6th or 7th visit - food is first class, can be very expensive if not careful with the menu, but freshness and quality of food is almost without compare in London
Food was spectacular, however the entire experience was bad since air conditioning didn’t work well. The place was too warm. Thanks.
A beautiful meal for a birthday celebration where the waiters led the birthday songs in both English and Greek. Superb food and excellent advice from the head waiter. Top quality ingredients and cuisine. The fish and other ingredients are flown over from Greece, Spain and Portugal daily which accounts for the very high prices, which were worth it for a very special occasion. As Greeks we enjoyed speaking our language to the waiters who made the welcome very warm and familiale. We recommend it heartily.
Best food and value in London at lunchtime
Good but th fish had sooo many bones and they were so sharp I even got one stuck in my throat 😂and very hard to spit out
Outstanding restaurant in every way: the perfect dining experience!!
great service, very clean and neat tables, the food was excellent, the fish super fresh.
expensive but having amazing fresh fish on regent street in a beautiful setting comes at a price.
comming in from the street with the rest location we were afraid we are un dressed for it, but we were very happy to be allowed in with flip flops...
i love greek food and have been several times in my life in all kinds of island and athens - the food and service was outstanding !!!
the only thing that was missing was the greek music, and the sea as a view
Wonderful spot...everything was perfect for a wonderful birthday celebration. Food was amazing and service was exceptional
Excellent food and service. The very best quality
The service has to improve, no drinks were served for 25 minutes. Ordered were also take after 25 minutes. This can’t be a fine dine restaurant
One of the best in London. Menu offers great value/price quality. Staff extremly kindly!
Un working ac and lousy management
By far best seafood in London, brought fresh from Greece every morning. Service is outstanding, waiters are incredibly friendly, funny and most helpful!
