About

Visitors to the scenic Shore area of Edinburgh can take time to relax with an enjoyable afternoon tea at Mimi's Bakehouse at 63, Shore in Leith. This traditional bakery prides itself on top quality cakes, traybakes and sweet treat inventions – and if you can't wait until afternoon, Head Chef Kenny Paton and his team created a fabulous and unique 'Beforenoon Tea'. The tea room has windows onto the dining area so guests can see what fresh and unique baked goods the team at Mimi's are creating. The bakehouse café can get quite busy so booking in advance is recommended – but if you want to enjoy their food without stopping, you're in luck, as their menu also includes a variety of picnic and other takeaway meals. It's also possible to book meals and snacks in advance for parties and the online shop also provides popular Scottish sweet treats to customers around the world.
