Food was ok - but not the level you get in Hakkasan or similar restaurants. Great view!
As usual a Great experience
Everything Issy perfect.
However I had a message from OpenTable, because we were not seated in the restaurant.
Wrong! Please heck
First class dishes, beautifully presented with a wonderful array of interesting flavours. This is one of the very finest Chinese restaurants I have experienced. On top of that, there are stunning views over Hyde Park and London from its 10th floor location. Expensive but worth every penny and well worth a visit.
A creative chef combines traditional Chinese dishes with his unique touch. The Peking duck is unsurpassed. While vacationing in London dining in this beautiful setting was our special evening time.
Absolutely fantastic. Service impeccable. Food outstanding. Duck is the best I've ever tasted. Very special place. Outstanding love it here.
Unprofessional, directionless and sin of all sins some rude and couldn't care less staff.
Food except for the Peking duck, was mediocre at best taste and pointlessly bad.
We love this restaurant and visit whenever we are in London. We used to know the sommelier, Kenny, very well. Now he is gone and we found most of the current staff rather cold, humorless and curt. Food was still excellent but staff has lost its soul and finesse. It makes the experience more like a cheap diner than a wonderful restaurant. Too bad.
Best Peking duck in town. My all time favourite Chinese cuisine and dim sum
Great place for a lunch with a view to hyde park. Impecabale service. Amazing dim sum and duck dishes. Note that the duck needs to be ordered in advance in order to avoid the 45 minute wait
Every meal at this upscale restaurant is a treat, with superb food matched with gracious and professional service. The price levels are hardly a bargain, but the value here for the prices charged is compelling.
Best chinese food ever. Peking Duck great. The service match the food.
Superb food, service and view over Kensington Gardens. Book well in advance
Peking duck was fantastic, and scallops room for improvement
Amazing! Liked everything, the view, the food, staff
We tries MinJang for my daughter’s birthday meal, but kept it quiet. Rather limitedvegrtarian selection , but the quality wSgood. Service was excellent and very quick. Slightly pricierthan expected.
We waited a long time for our aperitifs to arrive after reminding staff a couple of times. This made us a bit concerned about how the rest of the ordering would proceed. However things improved thereafter. The place was very noisy with some young people talking very loudly and it was quite echoey in the room which didn’t help - maybe they need to look at some kind of sound dampening.
The view is fantastic and some of the dishes like the wasabi prawns are completely delicious. Others are more average for the expensive prices, but overall a fabulous evening I’d love to repeat for another special occasion.
Really good restaurant, service and scenery
Stunning restaurant that as my friends said (and I have thought for a long time), the best Chinese in London and has a view to match the very best restaurants. A true hidden gem
Excellent food, amazing Beijing Duck as well as beautiful view across Kensington Palace Gardens and impeccable service. An all round special experience.
Excellent in everything. The birthday cake is an amazing delight. Strongly recommend.
Great views and good service. Food was great too. A good place for a special occasion, especially if you want to get away from the usual Chinatown.
It’s a pricey restaurant comparing with other Chinese restaurant in London serving similar food, but the food quality and service is worthy the money. Great view at night time as well, would be a great choice for special occasions.
The food was, as usual, excellent and the service was prompt, efficient, and professional. If this is not the finest Chinese restaurant in London, it is right up there with the best.
Booked this for a special family celebration with our sons aged 15 and 17. We were all very impressed with the service, food, ambience and the views of Kensington Palace and across the park to the cityscape of the shard. the restaurant and bar area are well laid out with plenty of room - and very nicely designed in a contemporary chinese style. We will most definitely be back.
The duck here is epic .... great service and time it right you get an epic view of London
Haven't been here for several years and thoroughly enjoyed the experience - food was excellent as was the service - will not leave it so long to visit again wonderful Chinese!!
We always enjoy the food, service & the entire experience at Min Jiang
Min Jiang is a great restaurant. Delicious food and excellent service. My favourite restaurant in London.
Perfect family gathering dinner with the most authentic Peking duck in London!
Table service was a bit disappointing however the food was first class and the view was amazing I would highly recommend
Good as usual
Really excellent food with friendly and competent service, and a great view of sunny Kensington Gardens. Reasonable prices for the quality.
The service was good it can be better, food was excellent
Over all very good restaurant
Some of the best Chinese food in London, and with views to match the food.
I had booked this restaurant for our anniversary dinner, I had also called the restaurant in advance and stated it was a very special evening and requested a table with a best view.
We arrived to be greeted and taken to a table at the far end of the restaurant, which wasn't what I had hoped or discussed,
We ordered cocktails which were great, followed by a bottle of champagne with our meal, sadly this wasn't chilled long enough. and wasn't the correct servicing temperature till after our second course
The food was definitely superb, the only downside was they didn't cater for our anniversary as we had pre-arranged and confirmed by telephone, which meant it was just like a normal night out... albeit a very expensive one.
Spectacular views. Very attentive, professional service. Peking duck was excellent. Everything else we ordered was very mediocre. Perhaps we ordered incorrectly ........
Weekday lunch with friend. fabulous view by the window. Service was good.
We had half duck with three dim sums and tea. Came to a very reasonable £33 each.
The environment was quiet so we could hear each other. The Xiang long bao was one of the best I had in London. The buns were quite small though.
The food was very average and definitely not worth the price. There are at least half a dozen places in Chinatown that does better dim sum for a third of the price (before taking into account the serving size which is about half here in Min Jiang). The Peking duck was better than the dim sum. However still oily, not crispy enough and nothing like the duck I had in China. But for London, this is probably one of the best I’ve had. At least the duck pancakes were handmade and not paper-like. There was a small happy birthday petite four presented at the end of our meal which was a nice touch. The service was friendly but difficult to get any attention when we needed. The view was the best part especially on a beautiful summer afternoon.
