    steaks were good but a little under cooked. White cheddar mashed potatoes were very good. Got free dessert since steak was not perfect. Mushrooms were very good and got a whole bowl of them. Crème Brule was excellent. service was great.

    2nd time we’ve visited since Covid. Not any better than last time. Most likely will not visit again. No comparison to the “old” Minerva’s. Too bad because it previous was a go to. No longer.

    Our server was amazing. The food was delicious and the wait time was minimal. Did not enjoy one of the food items because of the way it was prepared but was not charged for that item. Highly recommend.

    Food for my family from DC and I were so pleased. Entrees included awesome prime consumed by my son-in-law, was reported as “perfect” as ordered, the seafood special and the chicken Oscar was wonderful. Our server Noah was on task with prompt service with drink orders and food. Thank you for a wonderful meal prior to “Come From Away” and our Mothers Day celebrating. Martinis were great.

    Minerva's in Sioux Falls was our "go to" restaurant for special celebratory dinners (birthdays, anniversaries, etc.) when we lived closer. We're now 100 miles away, and we don't get there very often. Perfect dinner selection after a matinee performance at the Washington Pavilion. Our visit brought back pleasant memories.

    Waiter was very pleasant and friendly. Cocktails and wine were delivered quickly. Table bread was warm and delicious. Walleye and trout were very, very good - perfectly cooked. Brussels sprouts, sadly, were overgrown, bitter, and tough. Should have known better, but we love Brussels sprouts. Mashed potatoes weren't hot. Desserts were fabulous!

    I indicated the reservation was for a birthday but nothing came of it. There was no acknowledgement that this was for a birthday. No cake. No desert with a candle on it. No singing. Why ask me if there is an occasion if the restaurant totally ignores the request. I was extremely disappointed and will NOT patronize Minervas again.

    Went for a birthday. It was typical Minerva's. Great ambiance, food and Megan, our server was exceptional. Salad bar was an old friend, our steaks were cooked to perfection. Very happy with the extraordinary experience.

    Speakers not working in my area so no ambient music that was playing everywhere else in the restaurant including the restroom. Instead I listened to the people at tables around me talking, and forks and knives scraping on plates. Waitress forgot our bread. Salad used to be included with the meal and now costs extra. Waitress seemed to rush us to pay our bill when I still had a half glass of wine to drink. I did not like feeling like I need to be rushed out like I was cattle that needed to make room for the next cow to eat. Before COVID we ate here monthly. It’ll be another couple of years before I come here as there are equal or better “fine dining” options in Sioux Falls now.

    We have chosen Minerva’s as a favorite choice when in Sioux Falls SD, however our experience last night was disappointing. Our food was average at best, bread was not brought to table. Very disappointed that our previous expectations were not met

    The steak and salmon that was ordered by multiple people in our party was over done. The service was okay. We have learned to be patient with understaffing in general, but the food was not to the high level that I expect from Minerva's.

    Overall, great as expected experience from Minerva's. Service was top-notch. Food quality was great - as well as presentation. Loved the shrimp cocktail for an appetizer! Soups and salads were great - Shrimp Bisque and French Onion. Our group ordered a couple steaks as well as the Rainbow Trout - all were spot on. We ended the night with a couple craft cocktails. Highly recommend this longstanding downtown option - and of course recommend a reservation!

    We had a very nice experience for Easter Brunch with our daughter and family. The Easter menu had very nice selections of both brunch and lunch options and the food was very good as was the service.

    Normally have had decent experiences, and I understand that everywhere has staffing issues. Our poor experience was that it took over 100 minutes to get our food. The server neglected to tell us that there was a party of 60 that they were prioritizing and our food was after that. We had a reservation, clearly the party of 60 was a party that was planned. There was no communication about this until I asked for the check before we even got the food since everything was taking so long. Will spend our money at other locations that can manage the kitchen and set expectations.

    Minerva's used to be the premier place to eat in Sioux Falls if you are looking for fabulous service and fabulous food. Although the service is still fantastic, the steaks we were served last night were nearly inedible. It was the worst steak our family has ever eaten, either at a restaurant or at home. The steaks had no seasoning and no flavor. Moreover, their sirloin tasted more like a grilled roast than a grilled sirloin. We splurged to introduce our kids to one of Sioux Falls' best restaurants, and now, we will not be coming back. What a disappointment!

    We hadn’t been to Minerva’s in years and decided to try it Saturday night with high hopes of a great experience based on its reputation. The positives included well prepared salmon Oscar and steaks and delicious tiramisu for dessert. Sides of baked potato and mashed potatoes weren’t piping hot as I’d like, but they were generous amounts. The wedge salad was fresh and more than one person can eat. Room for improvement (IMO) would be a more upscale wine list and service that was more attentive and timely. We had delays ordering our food and refilling drinks and checking back after our food was served. I’d go back again without hesitation, but I’d lower my expectations than what I’d have hoped for this last visit.
