Mirror Room Ratings and Reviews
Afternoon Tea at the Mirror Room was an absolute delight! All of the servers were kind, attentive, and listened carefully to our specific needs, as we had to change the sandwiches around a bit. The food was delicious, and just the right amount of sweet and savory, and of course the champagne was wonderful. We even got to meet the pastry chef! Overall, a relaxing way to spend a special afternoon. Even the Scarfes Bar down the hall was a unique and enjoyable place to enjoy a coffee/drink before and after our meal. Highly recommended!
We had our wedding at the Rosewood Hotel and we were delighted to be able to celebrate our 1st year Anniversary at an establishment within the Rosewood Hotel. The staff at Mirror Room went the extra mile to look after us, which made our celebration so much more special.
The food offered at the mirror room was truly excellent. The Sommelier was fantastic and his recommendations have become instant favourites. The menu presentation is initially misleading as it lists 'Sandwiches' for dinner service, which does come across a bit out of place for a dinner seating. It is meant to be an All-day dining menu but there must be a better way to lay out the menu so as not to put off people form the rather informal sounding titles. The food itself was excellent. And although the setting does have the feeling of a hotel lobby, I would still recommend The Mirror rooms for the taste of the food and the wines.
Where do i start. It was an amazing experience. The seating staff were kind attentive and accommodating. Our waiter Francessco was knowledgable and discreet. We never felt rushed and thought that his attention to detail was amazing he was wonderfully knowledgeable about the wines and even recommended wines that were specially selected for that evening. The food was out of this world and the chef out did himself. Coffee was lovely and the Cognac was of the finest quality. We both felt the ambience was amazing and wonderfully discreet. In short i would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant experience.
This restaurant is fantastic. Amandine Chaignot the French head chef has created amazing dishes. The presentation and the flavour were sensational. I would highly recommend it to any foodie. Pricy but worth every penny. The place is also very trendy, have a look!
Beautiful decor with a warm atmosphere that allows you to experience luxury without feeling like you need to make sure you are using the right fork for salad.
The food is amazing in presentation and taste. Though the prices are cringe worthy, it accounts for more than the food. Not a work lunch (unless you are closing a million pound account), but a great place to take partner, family or friends on special occasions.
As I am not vegetarian or Vegan, I cannot make a fare comment on the restaurants suitability on that issue. however, should the menu include such options i am pretty certain they would be mind blowing.
We had the bottomless brunch, which was absolutely AMAZING!!! There was sooo much choice of exquisite food!
I am quite a big foodies, so the quality of the food (at any cost) is a MUST!
From any kind of eggs YOU WANT (eggs royale/Benedict etc..., pancakes, waffles, English breakfast, omeletes) - as as much of each as you like!! plus all charcuteries, cheeses, pastries, breads, fruits, salads, cereals, desserts and a chocolate fountain! PLUS as much as you like of teas and coffees and fresh juices!
I would 100% go back and recommend this to a friend!
We have dined here twice now and think it a fabulous addition to the London Fine Dining scene - we hope to become regulars. Incredible value for the quality of food and of course the Rosewood Hotel is unsurpassed in the luxury department. The room is exquisite and Amandine Chaignot (Head chef) has the done her self proud once more. The thought process behind the latest menu, the ingredients and the execution of the dishes is really quite extraordinary. I recommend the fois gras & the halibut. Great service also!
Beautiful hotel which has an air of exclusivity. Would highly recommend the mirror room afternoon tea and the bar. The service is excellent and the surroundings cosy comfortable and stylish. Great service, attentive staff and delicious food. We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon and evening and look forward to doing it again. A hidden treasure.
they did a fine near perfect job of hosting the 4 of us for dinner in later November. the food was exceptional, and it was a new winter menu. the staff are quite efficient if a bit unsmiling. a lovely place to entertain friends, and have a birthday celebration
We went here for pre-theatre drinks and snacks for my mother's birthday. I spoke with the staff beforehand to let them know of our plans and the General manager was incredibly accommodating. It's a stunning bar for special occasions, it certainly started our evening on a high.
Our first visit will not be our last. This was a pre-theatre meal and we had the set menu which offered a well thought out choice. The service was outstanding and every detail had been thought of.
The wine was a little pricey but to be expected however, not exorbitant for the water. Glad to see bread without the extra cost like on the continent.
The facilities were excellent and suitable for wheelchair access.
You will not be disappointed.
A beautiful restaurant. Gorgeous interiors, a relaxed setting, reminiscent of a private club. Plentry of space and different configurations of seating. Service is exemplary. A beautiful space which would impress anyone. But the icing on the cake is of course the food but beating that is the staff.
