Good food, excellent romantic atmosphere. But the price tag seemed a bit excessive for the overall experience
Exceeding expectations. Food, ambiance and service were superb. Best for special occasions.
Great venue, service and food.
Lovely restaurant, attentive and efficient service, beautiful food and amazing cocktails. Pricey but worth it. We loved it!
My partner and I had afternoon tea at the mirror room. In contrast to the busy bar we traversed to get to the mirror room, the atmosphere is calm and very pleasant for an afternoon tea. The art inspired pastries are outstanding by looks and by taste. Suprisingly not only tea refills - of which there is a great selection - were included, but also another plate of sandwiches and pastries. As the price is quiet average for afternoon tea, but the overall expirience was extraordinary, we would definitely recommend the mirror room.
It was excellent! As usual!
We celebrated my friends birthday at Mirror Room. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend this beautiful restaurant.
The setting was very attractive and I would go back for a drink - the food was average and overpriced
Lovely meal for 7 for a birthday lunch much. Attentive staff and very good food. The steak was done perfectly. It is pricey but worth it for a treat. The flowers and decor are outstanding.
I didn't like the low tables, which may be suitable for afternoon tea, but not really for lunch. It's a very elegant room, but it lacked atmosphere. The food and service was fine, but overall I think you're paying for the location. It didn't really represent good value for me and I'm not sure I'd go again.
Very disappointing. The restaurant decor is amazing but it's slightly odd to have to perch on an oversize sofa for fine dining. Service was very friendly and helpful but staff seemed to be a bit short of training. Weirdly, when I asked for a sherry, it was served in a cut glass brandy glass and the serving was over-generous, not least as the fino sherry wasn't that good.
My wife enjoyed her vegetarian options but my seared mackerel starter was cooked right through and had unpleasant tasting accompaniments. My main course of sea bream tasted a bit old and that it had been hanging around on the plate in the kitchen for a while. The roast purple broccoli was cold. I could easily have produced better at home with little effort.
Really poor value for money on a birthday evening when we had hoped for something special
Beautiful room, I was there for s business dinner, excellent food and service. I would not recommend it for a business dinner, the ambiance is really more appropriate for a date. But I would come back for cocktails or a date dinner! One point, the chairs and tables are a little too low for dining, more like lounging.
Overall very good experience. Waited a little long for the breakfast to arrive and thought the presentation of the scrambled eggs in a bowl was a little odd.
Had a great pre Christmas dinner with some friends there. Good food and service, it was pretty quiet and relaxing.
The mirror room is a stunning venue and the service was absolutely impeccable. The set menu represented surprisingly good value and although we were always able to get attention when required, it also felt as if we had complete privacy. Looking forward to a return visit.
Such a lovely building and nice sound insulation so one could talk comfortably although restaurant was quite full. Very attentive staff.
The service of the staff are impeccable. Food quality is good even in set menu.
The service we received was exceptional. The waiter (Shane) who served us really made us feel welcome (nothing was too much trouble) and made it a special occasion.
Service was very slow with us having to proactively ask for drinks & bread. The restaurant was certainly not busy but I felt that the staff were not interested.
The food was barely warm & the veloute needed more seasoning.
I so wanted to have an enjoyable experience at this restaurant but it was sadly lacking in most areas.
Very nice experience. The service was excellent and the food subtle and delicate.
I would really recommend this place to have a date or a dinner with friends.
A little on the pricey side but very good food, very good staff and very good atmosphere.
Ambiance cosy. Personnel souriant.
Rosewood Hotel and the Mirror Room restaurant absolute amazing.
Food, service and the ambience was outstanding!
Very good overall experience is balanced with the pricey menu.
Delightful oasis of calm in Holborn, delicious and well prepared and presented food.
Great food, good service, flexible with the set menu, perfect! We will definitely return! Thank you!!
Excellent set menu lunch - creative but elegant dishes, exquisitely cooked lamb, well judged wine pairing and friendly service in a muted luxurious lounge atmosphere. What more could you want for a conversational lunch. £70 for 2.
Great service, food and atmosphere
One of the best afternoon tea experiences in London
The food was great and the ambience excellent but this room should be for social ocassions only. We had a business lunch booked and were sat at sofas around a low table which made eating difficult.
The food was excellent and the service is just amazing. They went above and beyond to address all our requests
Great atmosphere, really friendly staff. Food was great, service was excellent.
Ambiance was great! Food was even better. Seats are super comfortable and private.
Afternoon Tea at the Mirror Room was an absolute delight! All of the servers were kind, attentive, and listened carefully to our specific needs, as we had to change the sandwiches around a bit. The food was delicious, and just the right amount of sweet and savory, and of course the champagne was wonderful. We even got to meet the pastry chef! Overall, a relaxing way to spend a special afternoon. Even the Scarfes Bar down the hall was a unique and enjoyable place to enjoy a coffee/drink before and after our meal. Highly recommended!
Over priced and under seasoned. Very small portions.
Perfect for a beautiful evening of comfort & peace with a few good friends. Beautiful dark golden space with a gorgeous buzz - excellent light dining - delicious steak, lovely wines, lovely staff. Such a treat ! I will definitely go back
Service and room is fab but food didn't match. I had wanted the burger medium rare and they said they only cook this medium well due to regulation! Had the fish which was below average.
We had our wedding at the Rosewood Hotel and we were delighted to be able to celebrate our 1st year Anniversary at an establishment within the Rosewood Hotel. The staff at Mirror Room went the extra mile to look after us, which made our celebration so much more special.
Lovely, delicious, creative afternoon art tea. Excellent unpretentious service
perfect place, lovely interior, good food,
the Italian waiter was extremely helpful and friendly.
Great food & Service
