Food was great. The ambiance to die for but a mistake with the order created a challenge from the waitress assisting our table. Also drinks took forever to get.

Walked in with a reservation and was immediately seated given I was traveling solo. Staff was freindly and Kilchoman recommended by the bartender was very good.The food menu is short and sweet. Had the Haggis for the first time in my life and it was delicious. Venison was cook perfectly with pink center, juicy and tender. A gem in Edinburgh and best food I had in UK.

Staff were brilliant, lovely atmosphere and grub was great if a bit lacking in choices. Reasonably priced for where you are and what you get. Amazing Jess went over and above with a glass of bubbly for a birthday and Andy was also a star! Would recommend/visit again. Thank you!!

Reservation was at 8:30, wasn’t seated until 8:50. 1st dish didn’t arrive until 9:15. Everything else we ordered didn’t arrive for another 45 minutes. No one on staff even mentioned this super long delay. Smoked fish: 8/10 Lamb: 10/10 really great actually Whole fish: not a whole fish, 2/10 super salty Onion rings: undercooked 2/10 Broccoli: plain and boring 1/10 Cheese soufflé: 7/10 over baked Overall, kind of a weird experience. The staff was really nice but I found it odd that no one mentioned the crazy wait. Wouldn’t go back.
