Morton’s Club on Berkeley Square has been at the very heart of the Mayfair social scene for well over 40 years with an extended history stretching back to a time when the building was one of the very first to be erected around the Square. An extensive refurbishment under the meticulous management of the MARC Group resulted in this impressive Grade II listed townhouse being returned to its Georgian heritage, blending the sophisticated with the contemporary to create an elegant and relaxed space.View Private Dining Details

Overpriced food - nothing special, no club atmosphere.
I wanted to impress a client and gain agreement to a future project. Morton Club met all my expectations. The service was excellent and the wine recommendation was amazing. Our questions about the menu were answered clearly with appropriate suggestions. The Club was quiet, with a few empty tables, but it was an excellent lunch meeting and I achieved everything I wanted.
We went mid-week and it was very quiet from 7.30pm till 10pm. In fact just 2 other couples in the whole restaurant. hence, ambience was not so good. Service was great but sadly, although the food looked beautiful neither my wife nor I were happy with the fish dishes (John Dory and the Dover sole) both of which were very dry/over-cooked
Hidden gem in Mayfair. Great for quiet Saturday night date night. Romantic, great food and service ❤️❤️❤️
Below average overpriced food. Awful service. I was expecting a lot more for a NYE dinner. Will never go back.
Best food, surroundings and staff I found while in London.
A very nice place with excellent service.. The wild mushroom risotto was excellent. What a view.
Food and service was good. Helpful staff. Limited vegetarian options. Didn’t enjoy having various noisy restaurant business being conducted around and next to my table throughout my meal. Decor was tired.
I always enjoy Morton's Club as it is a great place to meet and to catch up with friends. We arrived late but there was no fuss and we were not rushed. The food was excellent as usual and my picky, foodie friends had a wide ranging menu so there was something fore everyone. I left the choice of wine to the sommelier and we were not disappointed. The service was attentive but not intrusive, things happened without us knowing. My friends want to visit again and because Morton's is excellent value for money they have agreed to pay next time. Win, win!
Very pleasant service and ambiente
We were late arriving but there was no rush or fuss, and we had a comfortable table. We were able to talk business in a relaxed and confidential environment. The food was excellent, just a pity our spinach was forgotten but everything else was absolutely brilliant. I’ll go there again
Our first time to eat here. A lovely setting with a most wonderful view over Berkeley Square. Nice bar downstairs and superb dining space upstairs. Quite good food as well. Waiter could have been more polite.
Fabulous service from all the staff but particularly in the restaurant. Restaurant atmosphere different from a normal restaurant but we had a very good evening. Made a celebration for our daughter a lovely event and the kitchen staff spoilt her too by decorating her dessert with some very kind words!
Thank you to all.
I confess I hadn't been to Morton's for many many years, so was looking forward to the experience. We were a small group of 6 over attending over the festive period. The restaurant was predictably noisy, but the food was really good. Each of the meals were well presented and much thought had been give to their construction. The ingredients were very fresh and with several healthy options, a good all round menu. A large wine list complimented the menu. The only down side was that at 10.45, we were the last ones in the restaurant and were asked to relocate to the even noisier bar downstairs! Still it is the run up to Xmas....
Great service and attention to detail, the staff was really making an effort - and great food too.
I took 2 friends who were visiting from Singapore there for dinner on a Saturday night. The place was very empty though it is quite prettily decorated. Despite being a Saturday night, there was only 1 other table of diners there. For starters, I had langoustine which was tasty. My friends had foie gras and Sea bass capaccio. The foie gras was as expected but the Seabass had a strong fishy smell which was very off putting. My friend left half of it. For mains, I had crab risotto which did not have enough crab in it and hardly tasted of crab. My friends had "linguine Barra clams" and "veal Milanese" with a side dish of Dauphinoise potatoes. The linguine was gritty and had a big piece of shell in it. The presentation of the veal was like school dinner. The Dauphinoise was too dry. For dessert, we had crepe suzette for dessert which was very tasty. So, in general, the food was not great but the worst thing about the restaurant was the sommelier who to our surprise, hugely over filled our red wine glasses. They were 3/4 filled and impossible to be able to swill the wine around. The second time he came around to fill our glasses again, my friend asked him to please not over fill her glass and he reacted by slamming down the bottle of wine and marching off in a huff, which was totally shocking and very unprofessional.
The only redeeming point about the restaurant is the maitre d' who acted in a professional manner and listened to our complaints about the food and the sommelier, apologised and took something off our bill to compensate for our bad experience. The bill still came to £90 per person even with a few items taken off it.
Given the below average standard of the food, the appalling behaviour of the sommelier and the lack of atmosphere of the place, I will not be returning.
I was there for a Saturday meal however I there were hardly any people in the restaurant. To be fair though, the service was excellent and the staff very attentive. I had the risotto with crab on the seasonal menu but it left a lot to be desired. It needed plenty of seasoning and tasted watery. My overall experience of the place was fair. I would return because the staff were excellent and welcoming however maybe I would try it on a different day when there are more people in the restaurant
I have visited the Club often but my lunch on a Monday was odd in that there were less the 10 guests at lunch. It is a very chic spot in Berkeley Square but pretty empty. The food was good, excellent service and I would certainly visit the club again.
Very nice place and cosy, excellent service but food not value for money too expensive and not worth the price.
I had a suprise-dinner with our daughter (15y) when we were in London for 4 days. It was a really bis surprise for her - very excellent food and service :-) . She just missed all the different steak and filets .
We have already been in different Morton's, e.g. New York.... and look forward to try the next one on another trip or vacation.
Just wish we hadn't been the only people in the restaurant.
Wonderful evening at Morton's. Beautifully presented and delicious food. Fantastic service, relaxed and unhurried.
Excellent service and friendly staff throughout. Attentive without being intrusive helpful recommendations. Prepared steak tartare at the table, other dishes similarly well received particularly the sole. Wine selection extensive and excellent. Seat assigned with direct view overlooking Berkeley Square, very little to criticise and look forward to returning.
Valentines evening date. Lovely location and environment but the food was actually pretty average and they really did shovel it past you as part of their special tasting menu which was a shame - we had to ask them to give us a a break between courses.
Nice location but for the price (v expensive) this could and should have been significantly better.
Was wowed by the food. Not expecting it from a club restaurant. But certainly an excellent food experience. I would suggest the food was Michelin star quality without any doubt. They won't attain a star however with the service. The waiters are good and very pleasant but if you've eaten in Michelin you'll know what I mean. I would thoroughly recommend M for the food. The chefs surpass expectations by a country mile. Well done
Love Mortons. Good for a fun night out with your loved once. Option to have a drink and a dance downstairs. Highly recommended
Great food, attentive service and beautiful setting. Perfect for a significant date or business meal. Unlike most fashionable restaurants crammed with small tables and high decibels, Morton's is a pleasant and elegant dining experience. The view over the square from am some tables on the first floor adds to the charm. The smart and generally lively bar on the ground floor is ideal for aperitives or after-dinner drinks into the night.
Friends visiting from over seas - stunning night thank you!!
I have dined at Morton's on a number of occasions and this was my first time as a host. Notwithstanding that we were at the height of the festive season and everybody was in good spirits the occasion still remain discrete and the food and service excellent. The wine list is perhaps one of the best and most comprehensive I have seen. I have made a note to attend more often in 2017.
For a private members club that opens up on selected dates for prospective members, this is quite disappointing. Food is only so so and time between courses was longer than it should have been. I guess they want you to drink while you're waiting.
Excellent experience...great food, wonderful service, delightful venue.
Nice upscale experience in Mayfair. Beautiful setting overlooking Berkeley Square. Had a great service experience with the hostess in the bar, and with our waiter. Only downside was waiting a bit for our sommelier to order/serve the wine. Food was excellent. It's a classy spot, dress accordingly. I dressed casually, being in town only for the night, and in hindsight would have gone with a jacket.
Great atmosphere, beautiful reataurant but totally overpriced meal.
Amazing food and breathtaking ambience. Service is perfectly matching expectations if not going beyond!!
Going back soon!
Professional service for a professional occasion
everything was excellent, good food, friendly service and after dinner excellent music and Fun.
Was extremely excellent; staff are excellent and very attentive and the food is simply exquisite! So fresh and utterly delicious. Thank you Marlon and team!
very nice overall experience and best was sitting outdoors on a beautiful day. food was better than i had expected and service very professional.
A London favourite. Great location and fabulous service.
Very friendly staff
But unfortunately it took over 45 minutes for dessert to appear.
