The staff was definitely lovely and welcoming, despite we entered the restaurant to have dinner very late. Great food, lovely waitress, good wine and nice atmosphere: strongly recommended!
This is a fantastic Eritrean restaurant. The injera is particularly good (and not acidic at all). The staff are warm and friendly and explain everything--even the technique for eating with your hands.
Lovely little restaurant with excellent hospitality. Was a great first experience of eritrean food. Would go again.
Wonderful restaurant, very friendly owners, incredible food in a relaxed and inviting environment.
I could not recommend this place highly enough.
Please take the time to visit.
Had a beautiful evening down here with my girlfriend and could not have asked for a better host (that’s the best way to describe Daniel who tended to our every need and quirky request that evening).
He really made every effort to make us feel at home and noticed that other families and couples there got exactly the same warm and attentive treatment!
The food was great and plentiful and my only regret was that I didn’t have enough space to sample more of their delicious menu...... I’ll be back!!
Cannot recommend this place highly enough!!
Delicious food, great service, decent value for money. Bring a big appetite!
Visited as staying in area but would happily have travelled to find this gem. Chose the set menu with sharing platters - one vegetarian, one meat. Very tasty and extremely filling. Staff lovely - no issues with service speed as commented on in other reviews. Very accommodating and took time to chat and explain the origins of the food. Felt very authentic.
Highly recommended - amazing food and great people!
Fabulous variety and delectable flavours with top notch service to boot. Loved dinner!
Our hostess was wonderful and staff was sweet. However, the wait was extremely long considering how there was only two people working. Took about 2 hours to finish two person meal considering we only ate for about a 30 minutes of the 2 hours. Great food though!
Absolutely fantastic meal at this incredibly authentic and charming restaurant. The food was delicious and we could not have been looked after better by the friendly staff.
The food was wonderful! The drinks were great! And the staff was very friendly. We had a great time and stuffed ourselves even past being full because the food was just so tasty!
Food is delicious and unusual. Service is exceptionally friendly. You have to be able to cope without cutlery which may not suit everyone but it does mean you get very intimate with your meal!
Great customer service and the food was exceptional. We got the 3rd option of the set menu, which was great value for money and definitely enough for 3/4 people! (Although stating 2 people) but I guess it depends on how much you can eat, we aren’t light eaters ourselves ;)
I really enjoyed the virgin mojito and the Samosas, were fresh and crispy.
I especially liked the chicken stew and beef stew had enough spice. I’d like to try the lamb next time.
Friendly staff, delicious food, nice ambiance. I've been there several times and never been disappointed.
Deux visites à Londres et deux passages dans ce restaurant atypique tellement on aime leur cuisine.
The food was excellent and on a miserable Saturday night, the place was packed. Very friendly service and a wonderful night all around.
A new experience eating with your hand rather then with utensils.
The food was different and good. Pleasant experience
Food was delicious and the staff was super friendly even though it sounds like they have to explain the same thing several times a day. It was our first time eating Eritrean food but the waitress helped us chose, explain why it’s served the way it’s served and the best way to eat it.
Delicious traditional food, well prepared and nicely presented.
Cosy and private environment.
Excellent service, friendly staff going the extra mile.
Excellent authentic Eritrean foodS-meat a bit scarce but all our dishes served on the pancake like injera. Service quite fabulous and all around enjoyed their time at this Harrow road eating house.
We're so lucky to have Mosob on our doorstep - always a very warm welcome and wonderful food. Rich and tasty dishes served on the extraordinary, tangy, pancakey bread. It's fun for us Brits to have the novelty of eating without cutlery but it's not about that - the cuisine has such great flavours and textures that I would recommend to anyone to give it a go (and you can have a fork if you need one!!)
We always love coming to Mosob and heartily recommend it. It's a guaranteed, genuinely warm welcome and delicious food. They do amazing rich lamb dishes, and our vegetarian friends have loads to chose from too. Also the novelty of tearing the pancake to scoop up food is kind of fun!
Wonderful! This restaurant is clearly popular, as it was busy even on a weekday. Outstanding service - the staff are warm, welcoming and make huge efforts to ensure that everyone enjoys their experience.
The food is delicious. We were a party of six - vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters; there was something suitable for all of us.
We will most definitely be returning to Mosob.
We love Mosob. Whenever we have friends visiting and they want to try something "different", this is where we take them. The food is excellent and the service and friendliness is even better.
Amazing! I really felt comfortable in this restaurant. The food was very authentic and so delicious! A great experience for a family get together. We will be back!
I really recommend Mosob. We will be back and will bring friends and family! Not only was our meal delicious, the owner was very friendly and taught us about Eritrea, its cuisine, world geography and Tigrinya!
Excellent food, wonderful & warm owners. Will happily go back and recommend it to our friends.
The owner is very friendly and helpful when it comes to ordering food, as never trying this type of cuisine before we were a bit stuck on what to order.
It is well worth a visit
Great food. Owner will quiz you on your geography. Be prepared to remember your lessons in school
Lovely little neighbourhood restaurant with charming host who offers you riddles between each course. It was our first time trying Eritrean food and it didn't disappoint - the only complaint being that there was simply too much for us to finish! Come hungry.
Fabulous food and experience.
Took my boyfriend here for his birthday as he had never tried Eritrean food before. We had a set menu for two, and were recommended that we didn't order extras as there was a lot of food - and they were right as we were full by the end of the 2 courses!
It's very 'no frills' as a restaurant, with traditional decor - it was a Monday evening so we were one of very few people there. But the owner/manager is really friendly, the food tastes great, and there is lots of it. We'll definitely be visiting again.
Great food, super-friendly service. We've been going to Mosob for years and the experience is always a pleasure!
Amazing restaurant. I came back for the second time and I'll definitely coming back 😊👌🏻
Ben and his team at Mosob have a lovely neighbourhood restaurant. They make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. He has deep pride in his culture and it reflects in how he shares his enthusiasm and knowledge. The food is delicious, authentic and very reasonable, one of my favourite places to eat in London.
Very good food and the service was friendly and polite. My friends and I opted for the set menu and were not dissapointed! It tastes great and the portions are great too.
We like this place and the host
Excellent food, really very delicious and fresh. Superb friendly staff. Can't fault it and can't wait to return! Really looking forward to a sour injera
This was such a treat for us! We loved the food, beer, staff, and just could not stop smiling! Bit of a nostalgia trip for us, but sometimes those are most at risk of disappointment, which did not happen here! Betam ameseginalehu!
