AVERAGE PRICE DINNER-£60+
After 15 years absence, I really was keen that Mr Chows hadn't changed and was still excellent. It is. Some new dishes and many classics. Service excellent.
Rude waiter, music was terrible, chairs were very uncomfortable and value was horrible, we could have dined at a two Michelin starred restaurant for the price.
We have heard A lot about Mr Chow, but was really disappointed with our experience starting with the menu ending with the food and bill!
Not worth the money we spent
But anyhow , we survived
Really nice lunch, always love visiting Mr Chow. Food is excellent, service is very fine and overall is never a miss
Sadly seriously overpriced less than mediocre food in noisy surroundings. Service very good and friendly, the rest poor.
Very disappointing food, expensive, and waiters are pushy trying to get the most out of customers. Simple not worth the price.
Best chinese food in london. Great ambience and lovely cosy place for dinner.
The food portion with the price is contrasting
Had really nice meal , lobster, pork, delicious prawns and the lovely waiters all sang happy birthday to my guest , not cheap but very enjoyable
You need to atleast try it once if you’re in london
It was good
Very slow and forgetful service, staff felt like they didn’t want to be there. Not going back anytime soon.
The music was way too loud - like a club! The staff were helpful but the food was appalling had it been a low level Chinese restaurant, but for such a supposed high level it was just terrible and way over priced.
Excellent food!!!!except the pecking duck, was to expensive for what it was.
The best crispy duck ever - gambler's duck, not traditional Peking duck
The worst restaurant I have ever visit
Best Chinese restaurant in town, the food quality is incredible and the service is excellent
Great food great staff everything was amazing in MR CHOW :)
A long time Mr Chow fan, visiting the restaurant across the world, the service was a little off from previous dinners. That being said it was still good and the food was excellent as usual.
Boring food, super overpriced
Revisiting after a long gap.
Staff were very friendly, the food was mediocre and extremely expensive in comparison to other high end restaurants, unfortunately.
We were visiting London and came back to the spot my parents met 40 years ago. The food, service and entire experience were as special as always.
Fantastic staff and a BIG THANK YOU to the chefs.
We will be back very soon.
A must for people who enjoy good food with extremely attentive staff.
Incredible food. Was our first time in the London restaurant having eaten in New York and Las Vegas restaurants before (and we’re also big fans of the Philippe Chow chain). The menu is a little different to the US, as is the taste of the items which do appear on both US & U.K. menus, but that’s to be expected and it was still excellent. Smaller, intimate venue, but it makes for a nice ambience. Great service.
Staff very rude
Friendly staff, excellent food
there were only one waiter ,it was very slow service
The food was cold and we waited for 15 minuets
The staff was rude , and they keep us waiting to order
I would definitely not recommend even my enemies to come here. It was super small with a tiny spiral staircase which they didn’t bother themselves to put lifts or a normal stairs that doesn’t make people dizzy. It smelled like we were sitting in a trash can. And most importantly, their prices are very very verry expensive compared to the amount, taste and quality.
This restaurant positions itself as a high end offer. It is not. The decoration is drab and tired. The food innovative 40 years ago is no better, in some cases worse, than your local Chinese eateries. It is very expensive. Dinner for two was nearly £200 including only one glass of wine - no other alcohol. The toilets were grubby. Frankly this restaurant is a disgrace and a rip-off.
Great food, helpful attentive staff. We had a lovely evening.
Waiter chose all entrees and sides for us. It was amazing. Wonderful food!
Great food, nice staff.
Amazing food, amazing waiters, cozy ambiance.
Excellent food I always visit this place when in London
