AVERAGE PRICE DINNER-£60+
Boring food, super overpriced
Revisiting after a long gap.
Staff were very friendly, the food was mediocre and extremely expensive in comparison to other high end restaurants, unfortunately.
We were visiting London and came back to the spot my parents met 40 years ago. The food, service and entire experience were as special as always.
Fantastic staff and a BIG THANK YOU to the chefs.
We will be back very soon.
A must for people who enjoy good food with extremely attentive staff.
Incredible food. Was our first time in the London restaurant having eaten in New York and Las Vegas restaurants before (and we’re also big fans of the Philippe Chow chain). The menu is a little different to the US, as is the taste of the items which do appear on both US & U.K. menus, but that’s to be expected and it was still excellent. Smaller, intimate venue, but it makes for a nice ambience. Great service.
Staff very rude
Friendly staff, excellent food
there were only one waiter ,it was very slow service
The food was cold and we waited for 15 minuets
The staff was rude , and they keep us waiting to order
I would definitely not recommend even my enemies to come here. It was super small with a tiny spiral staircase which they didn’t bother themselves to put lifts or a normal stairs that doesn’t make people dizzy. It smelled like we were sitting in a trash can. And most importantly, their prices are very very verry expensive compared to the amount, taste and quality.
This restaurant positions itself as a high end offer. It is not. The decoration is drab and tired. The food innovative 40 years ago is no better, in some cases worse, than your local Chinese eateries. It is very expensive. Dinner for two was nearly £200 including only one glass of wine - no other alcohol. The toilets were grubby. Frankly this restaurant is a disgrace and a rip-off.
Great food, helpful attentive staff. We had a lovely evening.
Waiter chose all entrees and sides for us. It was amazing. Wonderful food!
Great food, nice staff.
Amazing food, amazing waiters, cozy ambiance.
Excellent food I always visit this place when in London
Very disappointed in Mr Chow London. The welcome at the entrance with the two girls could not have been worse. They could not care less, don't even look at you, very haughty attitude. The food was ok but very expensive for the quality. It used to be much better. Will not go anymore. They live on their reputation. That is too bad.
I've heard a lot about Mr Chow and was looking forward to try it with my friends. The food is just so bad that I couldn't eat anything - even though I was super hungry. Polite staff, good service and terrible food.
Perfect Hot and sour soup which we can never get in Beverly Hills
The food is below average .. all servers attitude are bad
Far too expensive given food quality.
It was the best London dining experience. We had a very extended restaurants tour, but Mr Chow is certainly number one for us. Thank u!
No worth at all
A definite stop when we are in London
Service was awesome Delicious food
Very friendly staff
Menu is perfect, something for everyone.
We visit Mr. Chow's each time we are in London. And we never leave disappointed.
Sitio agradable. Buen servicio. Excesivamente caro
a perfect service - a good food
the shrimp is so good
The food is insanely overpriced for the quality and taste provided. Not worth it even if the restaurant paid you to eat in it.
Be aware! They trick you into more expensive options. We were ordering different dishes for sharing. They asked whether we wanted family style, we said yes, and they ordered larger portions of each dish and charged us a menu cost per head (very expensive)! We had a big surprise when getting the bill and they waiters were very arrogant and unhelpful. Reading other reviews this seems to be a trick they often use. We will not be going back!
Food are not real good.
Very overpriced for what it was
Serve staff were all condescending and rude
I wish I had done my birthday dinner elsewhere
The mr chow location in New York is over much higher standards and nicer serve staff
The mr chow location in London could greatly benefit from a more relaxed environment and being kinder
*felt like I wasn’t treated nicely until I gave them my AMEX
At once the worst and the most expensive Chinese meal I have ever had. Utterly shameless to charge such prices for slimy, poor quality food.
Not much to say...Mr chow is always a good choice! Delicious and so classy! 😍
Staff was rude and not one smile from them. For the price your paying for the dinner. They could of been more accommodating. Food was good though
