Great steak, great cocktails, Great wine, what else is there to say

- lobster dish not available after ordering it
- cooking of fish went wrong and only received dish after the other one was already finished. fish was not salt enough, beef was too salt.
- for starters no seperate plates
- ordered a beer and never arrived

Top avond!

The food and service were great. It was my husband's birthday and they were wonderful in helping me celebrate it. Wish it hadn't been raining so we could have enjoyed the view, but it didn't damper the vibe. Thanks!

There where some mistakes in the delivery, the music was much to loud

The music was too loud. Because of Covid there were tables next to the bar. We were placed in that area. It was too noisy there. We could not have a proper conversation, you could not hear the waiter. I have been to Mr Porter many times and it was one of my favorite restaurants untill now. I would not recommend it now to my friends. Hopefully it will be better afain after Covid is over.

We had an amazing night! The food was delicious and was served quickly. Unfortunately it took some time before the drinks were served but it was very busy so that is understandable. We loved the food and drinks, the waitress was friendly and very helpful. It was our first time here but we will be back for sure!

The food was very disappointing! I don't mind paying for good food, but this was such a disappointment! And the place was way too loud too!

I work in this city and wanted to have dinner in a special yet 'easy going' place! well, found it!
Awesome view over the city together with an amazing dinner experience on the rooftop was really special, worth doing that again!

Het was heerlijk en prachtige locatie.Echt ook leuk om te lunchen.

Very good food and ambience.

The only negative point is the music too loud if you want to go in couple to enjoy a quiet dinner out together.

We dined at Mr. Porter last week. The restaurant is on the sixth floor across the street from the W hotel. We were very disappointed that Mr. Porter did such a poor job at complying with Dutch government corona rules. For example, although there were sufficient personal present at the ground floor when we entered the building, there was no one monitoring the flow of guests going into the elevators to gain access to the restaurant on the 6th floor. The elevators going to the 6th floor are very narrow and in non-Corona times wouldn't be able to fit more than four people. My husband and I were shocked when two other guests decided to push their way into the elevator with us. Instead of maintaining 1.5 meter distance from us, the guests practically bumped into and stood within centimeters of us so that they could get into the elevator. When I saw them coming towards the elevator I mentioned that more people wouldn't fit because we could then not maintain 1.5 meter distance, since there was no personnel to manage the situation, the other guests pushed past us and started non-stop complaining about being allowed in the elevator (and pointed to a Mr Porter sign on the floor stating that a maximum of 4 people could use the elevator). We were shocked that Mr. Porter would have such a sign and be completely disinterested in complying with Dutch government Corona rules. Also upsetting was the fact that the personnel at the entrance were just chatting among themselves and not managing the flow of guests to the restaurant. We were the only four guests at the time so this did not have to happen - restaurant personnel could have easily split us up between the two available elevators so as to maintain 1.5 meters distance between groups. It was very unpleasant getting stuck in the elevator in such close proximity with such rude people who had clearly not heard about the global pandemic going on.
The food was good but not nearly as good as you would expect for the exorbitant prices.

This was my second visit to Mr.Porter and it didn’t disappoint. We chose to dine at the bar with a view of the skyline. Our waiter was charming and very knowledgeable about the menu and wine.

The chateaubriand with fois gras was Perfect! The octopus salad is my favorite item on the menu, so delicious and spicy with the tahini-based sauce. The Lobster was perfect too.

This was my second time ordering the sea bass carpaccio which was delicious both times, however I would recommend consistency on how thin they cut the carpaccio. Upon this second time, the sea bass was cut thicker than the first time and had less portions also. With carpaccio, I believe the thinner the slice, the better.

The cauliflower Mac n cheese could have been better. It barely had any cauliflower in it. The dessert menu is okay.

Overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants in Amsterdam now. Great menu that’s great for sharing dishes. I highly recommend it, especially if you’re a foodie and are used to high-level dining and steak houses.

Servizio inaccettabile

Onze eerste keuzes (kreeft en sirloin steak) waren beide niet meer beschikbaar. De zeebaars en chateaubriand waren oké, niet bijzonder.

Good experience and nice food

My night at Mr. PORTER was absolutely phenomenal. Amazingly delicious food, fantastic service and a very uplifting ambiance. Simply one of the best restaurants in Amsterdam, if not the best.

Great food&drinks. Great service. Minus: we booked a standard table, it was very dirty on the couch with food flakes.

Ate here at the weekend. Very nice restaurant, greeted by friendly staff as soon as you walk in. The food was amazing, would definately recommend the lobster and the wagyu beef. Views off the balcony are worth checking out also as you dont often get to go so high in amsterdam. 10/10 will definately eat here again when i return.

Ontbijtbuffet met 3 personen in Hotel W gedaan. Geweldig! Dit is het eerste hotel in Amsterdam met een rooftop pool. Het heeft een bijzondere spa in de kelder. Waar vroeger de bankkluizen waren. Ze hebben ook een eigen nachtclub. Dit 5 sterren hotel is echt een aanwinst voor Amsterdam!

Binnenkomst en ontvangst is goed. Het eten was goed, de ober bij het diner was netjes en goed maar de dame die serveert in de loumge is vreselijk. Wij kunnen aan de buitenkant niet zien dat zij geen nederlands spreekt maar blijkbaar was dat voor haar onacceptabel en vond zij het nodig om ons af te snauwen. Heel jammer haalt het cijfer van de hele beleving gelijk naar beneden. Bij de mc donalds word je nog vriendelijker aangesproken. Aan het eind van de avond wordt de rekening die best behoorlijk is op tafel geameten zonder iemand aan te kijken tja......

Most beautiful restaurant of Amsterdam, view and interior are outstanding. Big problem is the loud club music; spoiler of a nice but very expensive diner. Maybe doable for a party of 2 persons but impossible to have a conversation with more than 2 people. Excellent service. shared dining

Niets op aan te merken. Van A tot Z perfect. Vriendelijke bediening, heerlijk eten, leuke setting. Plus de parkeerservice is een leuke extra!

An amazing culinary adventure where we left it up to the server to present us with a variety of starters, mains and deserts.

The food is of exotic inspiration an quality, in combination with the dramatic views of the city from this rooftop location, a dining experience you will never forget!

We loved the food, the cocktails, the service, the music and the ambience. Only wish we had a table with a better view. The view from the terrace is amazing. Defintely going back!
