Wonderful adult sophisticated atmosphere, beautifully balanced menu. We had the paired wine choice which was well introduced by the sommelier.
A luxurious way to have Sunday lunch.
We had a superb meal to celebrate a birthday. We had the tasting menu which was imaginative and beautifully presented.
The staff were extremely professional yet had a very human touch. They explained the menu very well and were attentive without being "hovering."
The dining room has a romantic ambience. Strongly recommended.
Amazing food as always and superb service all made a great afternoon relaxing having great food
Excellent lunch, great quality/value, beautiful presentation with delicious flavours to match. House wines were an inspired choice particularly the white Sangiovese
Magical special occasion venue. Exceptional quality and service.
Food was fantastic - our favourite was the venison, but the scallops, monkfish and souffle were all great too. Wine pairings were interesting and enjoyable. Staff were very professional but friendly with it. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. A very enjoyable meal from start to finish.
Beautiful food in a relaxed and non-stuffy setting.
Returned here to celebrate my friends birthday with my s partner. The ambiance is lovely sophisticated bright and somehow friendly all at once.
The free snack , ham, bread and olive oil grisssini and Parmesan arancini set the tone all intense in flavour and delicious. The service was note perfect and friendly without being over familiar.
My friend had the sea bream tartare which she allowed me to taste- sensational. I had some superbly cooked sweet scallops with complex sauce and garnishes (apple was involved and shaved crispy parsnips I think). We then all shared a silky smooth ‘fondue” with rattle potatoes and caramelised onions. Lick the plate delicious. I had the venison with venison ragout and gnocchi which was amazing and my friend had the monkfish and my partner the sea bass from the lunch menu. The accompanying wine, we chose the customs bianco was smooth subtle and complex. The deserts were delicious especially my friends peanut mousse.
This is an expensive restaurant but we all felt it was great value for money for a special occasion. You will leave feeling just that, special!
Comfortable, spacious restaurant with impeccable service. Food very disappointing. Beef very tough and couldn't eat most of it. Other items on February menu very dull - tomato and mozzarella salad! - panacotta and rhubarb. Expected something sensational. It wasn't.
Absolutely amazing. Food fabulous. Custard tart was divine. Can’t wait to go back again and service outstanding
What a wonderful friendly, informatable team of staffers including Marco and the reception.
I especially loved the arachini balls.great restaurant Angela.
an absolutely delightful experience, look forward to doing it again
Still the best Michelin experience we’ve had, second time around. Excellent food, interesting wine pairing, great service.
Fantastic. Very welcoming, very relaxing and incredible food!
all round excellent. We had the five course tasting lunch and every dish was superb. As was service and the sommelier's wine pairing recommendations. We were celebrating our anniversary. Can't wait for then next celebration and an excuse to treat ourselves here again...
Entered the subtly decorated restaurant was greeted and jacket taken and shown to my table.
Amuse bouche/snacks bought very quickly, a nice selection of meat bread pickled veg and olive oil.
The menu came after a while and found myself conflicted as to which I chose, in the end it had to be the winter menu.
First course was a lovely beef carpaccio with sliced celeriac, with nuts and a beautiful dressing.
I then had Haddock with clams and artichoke, again beautifully presented
Main was a superb rack of lamb with a selection of vegetables and a small piece of lamb shank too.
Pre dessert was a superb Tiramasu
Main dessert was the best Soufflé (pistachio and chocolate sauce) I gave had.
Lovely efficient staff sadly other venues have invited me to visit the kitchen and meet chef, not on this occasion.
Toilets clean but a little compact.
Only minor complaint, the door needs an inner door, as each time it opened I was assaulted by a strong blast of cold air.
Faultless - a birthday celebration for our daughter, 5 courses + cheese, and some wine pairing. Rare venison was the standout- Laura Maitre D' was excellent. Our favourite restaurant.
Great food in a comfortable and cosy atmosphere. A lovely way to spend a relaxing lunch when coming up to town.
Lovely relaxing ambience with great food, wine and service - what more can you ask for?
Always wonderful to visit. Chefs are always so accommodating and wonderful to see the lovely Laura. A must visit if you love good food
Absolutely outstanding experience. Clean, almost austere interior, but not cold. Interesting menu, but everything we chose exceeded expectations. Service was friendly and correct, not subservient or arrogant. Special mention must be made of the apple tarte tatin desert, which is the best I have ever tasted, anywhere. We'll definitely return.
Absolutely excellent lunch with my dad and sister. Service was superb - attentive but not in your face and lovely friendly staff. We had the set lunch, which was fantastic and every course was beautifully presented and soooo tasty. We all loved everything!
Good set lunch. Nice nibbles delivered to the table as we made our food choices. Relaxed Saturday lunch vibe. Took our time and never felt we were being rushed to vacate the table. Great for a catch up with friends.
Fabulous food and excellent service. We ate early on a Saturday lunch time and we were there with one other table. Felt very quiet and a little intimidating. However, when the restaurant filled up at 1.30 the atmosphere was much better. Would recommend a later sitting.
very formal decor, good service, menu is simple, pastas are very tasty
We visited Murano for a Sunday lunch to catch up with some friends. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the food was extremely good and great value for money.
Would definitely return here without a doubt
Superb Sunday lunch with excellent wine pairings
This was a birthday dinner; it was perfect. Great service from very friendly, knowledgable staff. Wonderful food, beautifully presented; very comfortable seating.
Took my wife for a belated Christmas present and it lived up to all expectations. Food was amazing, wine was excellent and the service was outstanding. Cannot fault any part of the evening.
Murano used to be a great restaurant. This time we felt that it was a complete waste of money, falling below our reasonable expectations of what a Michelin starred restaurant should be.
This was a special treat for a birthday. We had the set lunch and enjoyed 2 and a half hours in this lovely restaurant with view direct into kitchen (ask for a table in this part of restaurant). From arrival onwards the staff were polite, friendly and attentive. This plus good food what's not to like.
Refined, elegant with a high standard of food and service. Great place to have a relaxed meal and private conversation.
My food loving young wannabe chef 10yrold and I had lunch here as part of our Christmas present. The staff helped to make it a really special occasion. She was able to select the table looking right into the kitchen which was a really fascinating experience. The food was, unsurprisingly, wonderful. With lots of fantastic details like the amuse bouches etc. The sommelier recommended a fabulous wine to go with my meal as well as a delicious “mock tail” for meg. Fabulous
Truly excellent service
Food ok as the set menu but not really interesting
Wine choice good
First time at Murano. What an experience we had. Food was outstanding and the service perfect. Will definitely be back.
I was disappointed that i found the restaurant somewhat underwhelming. The food was wholesome and tasty and the service was good but i found the prices high, especially on the wine list. My opinion is that the site needs some love to return to something it once was. I was sad that it wasn't as good as I’d hoped. Clearly the staff are working hard, but there is nothing special to make it stand out from the crowd.
Food and service were fantastic, restaurant layout means it does not feel that private but still 5 stars for me
This is our favourite restaurant in London. Not only is the food always superb but the service is second to none. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and efficient and make our visits to Murano extra special. I highly recommend a visit.
Great food, good location, excellent service and very good value for money. What’s not to like. Will definitely return very soon.
