Amazing experience. Service was exceptional. I have lived in LA my entire life and this was our first time dining there. We will definitely go back again.

We came here for our anniversary and it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever received. We were greeted with a personalized anniversary card. Our food was phenomenal and the server was very attentive! This restaurant is a must visit in LA!

We highly anticipated eating here. We waited for a month to get the right reservation, Saturday night. They were extremely busy—maybe too much. With so many people, we lost some intimacy. The waiter was super busy with multiple tables and seemed rushed and bothered by our questions and requests for suggestions. I had the lobster cocktail to start which was fresh, cold, and delicious. My wife had a mixed greens salad. The drinks were very good and my martini was served with the container on ice—very cool. She had grilled chicken which was served charred—we asked for well done but not burnt. I had the fillet. We shared the fettuccine and grilled broccolini. Everything was delicious, except the burnt chicken. The fettuccine is a must have—delicious. We ended the night with great cappuccino and desserts. We shared the bread pudding and the flannel cakes—both were great. Overall, we had a wonderful time and we will go back sometime. It was fun to experience an old Hollywood icon.

Most of our meal was decent—nothing particularly exciting, but enjoyable. However, our steaks were cold, though they had good flavor. Additionally, while I know this restaurant has been around for a long time, there was a very distinctive smell upon entering, which was not inviting.

Quintessential Hollywoodland. Thanks for keeping the Golden Dream alive. Great service, food and one of a kind Movieland Magic atmosphere.

I had high expectations for Musso & Frank for my birthday dinner, but the experience was a disaster. From the moment we sat down, the service felt dismissive and snarky, as if we were an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Our party’s food was sent back multiple times due to cooking errors with the steaks in unsafe cooked levels, and even simple requests—like splitting orders—were handled poorly. For instance, our server used bread plates to split our pasta, which felt both unprofessional and insulting. Despite the reputation of treating locals like celebrities (and vice versa), we were made to feel unwanted. There was no effort to explain the menu or share any history about the restaurant; every interaction was rushed, leaving us feeling like a burden. What was meant to be a memorable birthday celebration with close friends—some of whom were making major life changes like joining the Marines—ended up being a frustrating and disheartening experience. I came based on recommendations expecting a classic, memorable meal. Instead, I left feeling disrespected, dishonored, and furious. Musso & Frank, an establishment I thought to consider a go-to for special occasions, is now firmly on my boycott and watch out list.
