It was quiet when we visited midweek in mid/late October but good food and friendly service. Amazing home made ice creams and sorbets. Would go back for that alone! Very impressed. Was confused as to whether it was a wine bar or a restaurant but will definitely go back for the quality of the food and value. Only gave it 3 stars for ambience because it was quiet but we still had a lovely evening eating good food and wine. Highlights were seaweed cured halibut, pork belly and lentils and hake with a seafood risotto sort of thing and duck rillette plus the amazing ice creams/sorbets including the olive oil which was delicious. Well worth a visit. Try it! It was good value. More

I booked this meal as a surprise for my partner as we had both wanted to eat there for some time. I also had another surprise up my sleeve as a marriage proposal was also on the cards. We had booked our meal for 1230 but arrived around 5 minutes late. This wasnt a problem fir the staff as our waiter welcomed us with a smile and showed us to our table. He was very polite and friendly and explained our ordering options as it was originally booked via a groupon deal. We chose to upgrade and had different starters, we also added deserts and cold drinks as opposed to the soup and hot drink with no desert option. Our waiter brought our starters, then mains and although we were given the wrong desert, it was not a problem for him to resolve and we got to keep the extra cheesecake!! Highly recomend zebra stroganoff starter, llama (gyros) and chocolate tart. My only disappointment was i didnt try the floral tea. Highlight of the meal, i proposed to my partner....he said yes :-) Needless to say, my fiance and i will be going back! More
