Such a great venue, with a wide & varied menu choice. Delicious food & great tasting cocktails! Would highly recommend!
Food was excellent. Service a little slow but to be expected as it was Father’s Day. I would definitely recommend. I was a little concerned that not all staff were wearing masks. And many diners were not wearing masks on entry and whilst moving around.
Very small table for 5 people, spend most the night juggling glasses and dishes. We were given one menu every time we were looking at course to share between 5 of us. And finally the attentiveness was poor, have to point out to the waiter there wasn’t enough space for them to put the food. And have to ask them to remove wine glasses not being used.
We eat with you on a regular basis. Service was poor yesterday. You were very busy but that cannot be an acceptable reason. Food was of its usual high standard. It’s not so much lack of staff but some of them just don’t seem to be properly trained and become easily distracted from the main task at hand ie look after the customer. No Tusker beer again which was disappointing.
The waiters kept sending the orders to the wrong tables. Also everyone seemed a bit dazed apart from front end desk.
We ordered a kids omelette and even when handing it to us the waiter said it’s the plain cheese omelette. Although it was chill ridden which didn’t go down to well with my two children.
On the plus Food was good and we were glad our omelette was taken off the bill.
Good food and setting. Poor service and flies flying around made the experience not too great.
Our waiter was superb and made the experience worthwhile
Very courteous and charming staff made my VERY FIRST outing evening after 18 months of being grounded a delightful and wonderful event. The staff deserve a pat for making us so welcome - THANK YOU VERY MUCH NAMASTE LOUNGE TEAM
The service could be improved as the servers had to be reminded of missing order items. Server came to ask for Mains Order, when we had already given the drinks, starters and mains order in one go (minor problem, but they can check the till before coming to get mains order again).
Starters were very good, mains were average (asked for spicy daal, it came out tasteless without enough salt and just Jeera as flavour), resent it and it was prepared again and was a bit better. However we had to wait 10 mins unnecessarily and rotis were cold and chewy by that time.
Prices are high, so they should have offered to replace rotis/naans.
Finally, a desert was added TWICE on the bill. Normally no-one checks their bill twice and simply pay. For the price their staff should be vigilant of such mistakes. A Discretionary service charge is added @ 12% or so. This shouldn't be the case or at least, they should offer to cancel it with orders where they made mistakes.
Our waitress was too good and the only flow was too many flies you do need the blue light to keep the flies away otherwise all good will sure come back
Food was great service was a hot and miss.
We were situated inside, however outside seemed to be busier. Waiters and waitresses were constantly coming in and out and dismissing us whenever we asked for service. We had to ask for everything 3 or more times.
If I could, I would leave zero stars. The service I received today was disgusting which started and ended with a lady allegedly named “Shona” who started and ended our experience in the most unprofessional and miserable manner for what was such a lovely day.
Upon arrival she walked past 4 times and made us wait there 10 mins without any acknowledgement. We didn’t get so much of a hello or a warm greeting. She was incredibly moody and had an attitude on her. When sat indoors I stated I asked for a outdoor table which I was showing her on my email booking. She rolled her eyes and very snobbishly told me to read it properly. I zoomed in and kindly let her know I’m trying to show her it’s an outdoor booking. When she realised she was wrong an apology wasn’t even made. Very conveniently 3 seconds later I got an email saying my seated booking was confirmed? Okay we can live with the seating.
Whilst sitting there was chaos and havoc, everyone’s gathering and talking with no masks in the restaurant - not outdoors- bumping into us making us spill our food. Need I not mention the wasp the size of our index finger that went down customers tops and only once 3 tables got up screaming did they bring a hover out.
As mentioned not even staff were swearing face masks, and it was more packed than the jubilee line at 5pm on a Friday.
As we were leaving the ever so lovely Shona again had to tend to us as a car was blocking our car.
She strutted out, took a picture and told us “I’m gonna have to go round and show this to every customer” annoyed as if it was our fault.
It was an awful experience and safe to say I won’t be returning there again.
The food, drinks and ambience were brilliant - table service was extremely slow and disappointing
Seats were dirty on arrival at the table had the previous occupants food droopings on them, should have been cleaned especially during the pandemic!
I have been to NL several times with good experience. Their Covid protocol is very good, which enables you to have a good time. On my last visit the food was not up to usual standard taste wise.Too much salt in mix veg curry.
Everything else was good.
Fabulous food and service, had a great night here with some girlfriends!
this was the first time, but we thoroughly enjoyed everything. only think we realise that their was a bit of a pressure with timing and understand this is due to covid and freeing up he table for other guest. but overall lovely evening.
The ambience was good and the starters were good. Main course was ok.
We enjoyed the experience however had an episode where we were handed wrong bill and the staff member who handled it was very rude and did not apologise for their mistake. This in return ruined our experience so I would not recommend it to anyone if you are going for a special occasion.
Overall a pleasant visit, however it was noisy due to the works going on around us. Also felt it was a little expensive. The serving staff came across pushy and confused.
Drinks were good but the food wasn’t as good as it use to be,, small portions , over priced.
Great food as always, they did forget our naans but once reminded they were super fresh and delicious.
If slightly expensive but a great place to go.
Good atmosphere, delicious food and nice caring staff.. Of course, this place is absolutely amazing, the colours are beautiful and your photos are really good too:))
Fantastic restaurant, food was superb and service was great,
Great ambience, excellent service and yummy food!
Went to Namaste Lounge for my partner's birthday. Staff were lovely! All very welcoming and very patient, especially with my very talkative son! Food was on time and delicious. Drinks were equally as good. Shame I didn't book the outside tables, as they looked wonderful! Seating inside was just as lovely, as we had a view of the outside area. Nice and quiet, which we didn't mind. Many options available and the staff accommodated all of our needs, which we really appreciate! It was a shame that there wasn't any nice seating for us after our meal, just to have drinks, but understandable as it was fully booked. We will definitely be back in the future and I'll be sure to book the outside area as it looks fantastic!
Lovely tasting food, outside seating area was very spacious. Enjoyed eating at namaste, we look forward to coming back.
Service was awful: was there for 40mins before we got served and we had to wave someone down. We were told that half the bar was down because of a burst pipe but that shouldn’t effect the service of the waiters. Was really disappointed
Food was substandard and drink prices extortionately high. Considering the restuarant wasn't busy when we visited, the service was poor. Waiting staff didn't know the menu and when ordering alcohol with a mixer, only brought over the mixer, no alcohol. When queried about the alcohol, we were told there was alcohol in the mixer, although it was clear there wasn't. For true authentic Indian cuisine I'd reccomend The Regency Club in Queensbury over this overpriced restuarant.
Great food but service terrible as always. We were put in the bar area. Too noisy.
I have been to Nasmate many times and I have always enjoyed it.
Unfortunately this occasion my experience was not what I expected.
I didn’t get to order my drink until 10 mins after being seated. I then waited a further 20mins for the drinks.
I then had to ask 3 different waiters to order a second drink. When trying to lay and leave. I asked 4 waiters for the bill. I still did not receive the bill so went to front to ask to pay at til.
Overall was not great 🙁
45 minute wait for drinks
Bad service from waiter, waited 40 minutes for a glass of coke. Arrived 15 mins early and the waiter kept on pushing us to order straightaway telling us we had a 2 he slot (which hadn’t even began). It was my daughters 21st dinner with her friends and the waiter ruined her evening. Not going back!!
Service was very slow, staff didn’t smile. Drinks were overpriced. Didn’t eat there
Service was slow considering it was early afternoon and the food portions are small
Absolutely loved the food and vibes. Will definitely be back soon.
Great place for dining. I recommend anyone who is fancy for Indian curry
The food was hardly exceptional or even tasty. We had the brunch menu and the omelette and aloo paratha were well below average. The aloo paratha had way too much spice in it. The chai refill had to be requested for.
I very much love the restaurant but felt let down this time. I hope they explore with some more Indian breakfast options. Wish them all the best.
The ambience and service by the lady was fab but the food was overly spicey, small portion. Beware they charge the same price for mocktails as cocktails and don't share prices so you feel the hit at the end! Not planning to go back for a while due to lack of cost transparency.
Good food as always, cocktails delicious, staff were attentive! I will be coming way more often when shisha returns 😊
