Taken over in 2020, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, adourning wonderful photos of chepstow through the years. We have enjoyed every time we have been to the Rock and Fountain and everyone is friendly and helpful. We do enjoy the food and we actually decided to make it an early Father's Day visit, we do prefer this as we get more choice and it's quieter. It was all very pleasant and we will return.

I ordered the veggie main with my roast dinner (pumpkin and Feta Wellington) and it was amazing. The whole meal was beautiful. We were there for Mother’s Day and all the lamb, chicken and beef mains looked great too. The staff were chatty and polite. I didn’t give the top score as I had to chase up my Prosecco as it was forgotten - on Mother’s Day!- but that was literally the only fault I could find with the whole experience. We come back for the Sunday roasts whenever we can, they are such good value for money.
