    Food was excellent! There was a large Christmas party happening when we went so the noise level was really loud, but probably not like that all the time. I would recommend dimming the lighting a bit, ambiance is important and the recessed lighting was very bright. Food was excellent and would definitely recommend!!

    First time here. It was highly recommended by a local who goes frequently to this spot. Did not disappoint. Had the ocean trout and it was deliciously prepared. Crispy bit of skin on the top and rest cooked perfectly. My partner the coq au vin. He raved about it. Service was great and the place had an elegant charm. Was also informed they had a great happy hour there at the bar. Will check that out next time. Only draw back is parking, which is everyone’s problem on a Friday or Saturday night in this area. Will be coming back again sooner rather than later, I hope.

    We went on a Tuesday night to celebrate a special occasion. Scottie, our server, made sure we had the most amazing service. The food was wonderful and the ambience allowed us to have a meaningful conversation. Definitely a new favorite spot when visiting San Diego.
