Highlights of the menu include bruschetta, seafood pastas, chicken and veal piccata, and thick- or thin-crust pizzas with either traditional or trendy toppings. Located in Point Loma, The Venetian’s friendly service and “Cheers” style vibe make it a favorite destination for date night, happy hour, dinner with friends or family celebrations. Seating includes the lively bar and patio (great for families and larger parties); comfy booths and banquettes; and a private wine cellar that can be reserved for parties of up to 16. Nearly 70 years after its arrival onto the San Diego boutique hotel landscape, Point Loma’s iconic mid-century modern Pearl Hotel has unveiled the latest chapter in its storied history with an ambitiously reimagined restaurant and bar: Ponyboy. The inspiration behind Ponyboy extends beyond its décor and menu. Named after the protagonist of S.E. Hinton’s The Outsiders, the restaurant conveys the spirit of individuality and rebellion in a time when hope and resilience were pivotal to navigating the challenges of a changing world. Guests will sense the nod to cultural iconography as they step into a space that feels familiar and refreshingly new. The ambiance is designed to harken back to a bygone era when traditional American comfort foods and elaborate dinner parties were both fashionable and fun. We look forward to seeing you soon, drink in hand, soaking in the sun pool-side. Stay gold, San Diego.

Beautiful restaurant, with attentive service for our group of 10. Loved being seated at the chef's table and being able to watch them preparing our food. Request the house made sourdough bread upon seating; you won't regret it. It's served with both a honey butter and and herbed butter. Menu offered a great variety of meat and seafood options for guests.

We celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary at Seneca and it was amazing. Obviously the view was spectacular but the drinks were also delicious and my spaghetti carbonara was one of the best I’ve had. Our waiter also gifted us with some champagne to celebrate our anniversary. 10/10 we will be back

Shannon, our server, was both accommodating and a good server. Most of us ordered the happy hour food appetizers. Mussels, calamari, chicken potstickers yum! The food was brought out promptly and was warm and tasty. The servings were adequately portioned. I had one drink and a couple of the appetizers and was totally sated. The setting is idyllic. We sat outside which was shaded and comfortable. GREAT SAN DIEGO SPOT.
