Our first time for our anniversary, we received EXCELLENT service. I forgot our waiter’s name, but he was FANTASTIC. The description he provided us about the food, drinks, and personal opinion, before we ordered, was on point!! He absolutely gave us a WOW experience. Had to tip him way more than he deserves!! Definitely recommend coming back here more than you should lol

Katie was our server and was very attentive without being too much, the restaurant in general was very clean and delicious !

If you live in Portland/Vancouver or are visiting do not miss the opportunity to dine at one of my family's all time favorites, Salty's on the Columbia. Today, while visiting from Boston my mother and I had an outstanding experience, We cannot even begin to rave about the perfectly trained service, the incredible menu, the food presented and of course THE VIEW!! One never tires of river, the mountains, the boats on the water from the windows. She had the incredible Slab Salad (think wedge salad without the wedge). I started with a cup of the Salty's clam chowder with tiny bay shrimp (a Pacific Ocean speciality not found on our East Coast) and then the Dungeness Crab (an other Pacific delicacy) cheese melt. Washing it down with the Phelps Pinot Noir. Excellent. We wrapped up our lovely time together with a slice of the desert chef's holiday specialty of pumpkin cream pie! Try Salty's. You will never forget it.

The food is outstanding! However, It took at least a half hour after being seated before we were greeted at our table. It was VERY loud where we were sitting as there were two parties in the same small room that were making way too much noise. It was impossible to carry on a business conversation. That being said, the food made up for the slow service and loud tables.

Our server, neglected to get her name, but had green tips on her hair. Anyhow, she was excellent! Attentive and very communicative. She made our group feel at ease. Thank you!
