My wife and I came to Kara for lunch on 4 October as part of our date day. It certainly made it a special occasion. We so enjoyed the whole experience that today 12 October we brought our daughter and granddaughter for a birthday treat. The food is supurb, beautifully presented and really delicious. Friends who have also visited Kara have had nothing but praise on all fronts. Judging by the amount of people lunching here it has to be the most popular restaurant in Fleet. A visit to the loo is also quite an experience. Kara is top quality in respect of decor, service and food. We will be back soon.

My friend & I had a meal here last night. Greeted in a nice friendly way, shown to our table & given the special's board. My friend had the chicken stroganoff, which she said was really good. I had pie of the day (steak & mushroom) & it was a proper slice from what must have been a very large homemade pie... deep & filled to the brim with tender steak & mushrooms. Very, very good. The lady waiting our table was attentive without being over the top. I had homemade ice cream for dessert & my friend had the profiteroles. Again, excellent. I've eaten here 5 or 6 times now & I've never had a bad meal, just very good homemade food. We will definitely be back.

Just love the Queens Head always great food and ambience.

Most flavoursome curry I've ever had. First time to the restaurant and introduced it to some friends, who totally agree. Staff were so friendly and helpful, suggesting food choices. The chef also came out when one of our party queried the chilli heat. He was amazing (and patient) and offered to prepare something especially for my friend. Would 100% recommend and planning to take my other half there very soon.

Lovely evening, staff were really good and looked after us. Food was of a very good standard, not a cheap evening, however worth everything penny.
