We are regulars in Hawsmoor and this was the one and only time I have ever been disappointed. The main point of concern was my Fillet Steak that had a lot of grizzle and sinew making it extremely chewy. My son also had a fillet and his was excellent as usual…. I would like to add that I did not complain in the restaurant and that none one bothered to ask even when the majority of my steak went back on the plate. Hopefully better next time

My wife and I went along with a voucher for a Sunday roast and were not disappointed. We both had gazpacho to start which was so light and fresh - the perfect way to start a roast dinner meal. Followed up with roast beef, which we had pink although the choice of having it cooked through was offered, we enjoyed ours pink. A lovely plate of veg and perfect gravy accompanied it, and I followed up with some churros which were excellent. I can recommend the Camden pale ale and my wife really enjoyed the white Rioja. Overall we had a great time - the decor is lovely, we had a great booth table, and the background chatter was the perfect level to make you feel at home and fit in with the ambience yet still be able to hold your own conversation. We interacted with a number of staff but unfortunately I can't remember names but all of them were friendly and fun, happy to have a quick chat and always there to answer any questions. Service was perfectly paced so much that we ate a good amount of food yet still left without feeling stuffed - not often the case these days, but I was very impressed. I'd always looked at the prices and thought it was in the high side which maybe put me off a bit but having the voucher encouraged me to go and now I see that actually the prices are less off putting now I've had a positive experience there.

The other half had the mixed grill and I had kleftiko. He loved his but I swear my kleftiko won, there was so much meat, it fell off the bone and was absolutely delicious. We had a bottle house red and dessert. It was really busy the night before which drew our attention and made us book, we now understand why it’s popular. Friendly staff too.

I had dinner here last night, and it was amazing! The flat iron chicken was delicious and my friend’s ribeye was perfectly cooked. Alessia our server, provided outstanding service she was attentive and friendly throughout. Great food and excellent hospitality—I’ll definitely be back!

Was very affordable service and aesthetic of the atmosphere was fantastic such a lovely restaurant and would also like to give a big thank you to are care taker and waitress that accompanied are services on the evening I requested that flowers be brought to the table and I was told that would not be possible and you guys came out with flowers and gave them to my date for me anyway as I payed the bill we will definitely be back for date 2 😁😊
