Staff friendly and efficient. Food excellent. We were 2 parties of 4 who had had to book separately and they went out of their way to seat us all together despite being fully booked. All in all a very enjoyable experience. Thank you

The fish is always delicious but to be honest everything is. Baked Alaska is superb too.

We were a group of five and chose the Sunday carvery. 4 had starters which were excellent. All five had carveries. Meat was good and potatoes and veg good, although it would have been nice to have a larger choice. We all had puddings which again were excellent. Service was first class. With three alcoholic drinks and a soft drink our bill came to £145, so not the cheapest, but definitely not the dearest food around.

Phenomenal food and brilliant service by young front of house staff. We booked the Summer Taster menu and opted for the Four Wine Pairing to go with it, and we can’t fault the experience. The service was impeccable - really friendly, welcoming and professional (but not intimidating to those who, like us, are not used to this kind of experience). The food was incredible - a brilliant balance of flavour, texture and depth to each dish and the menu was beautifully put together. Also, I was very full towards the end of the evening (which can’t always be said!) but the dishes were light enough towards the end that there was just about room for everything! Thank you so much - on this occasion, we were gifted a voucher as this is something we would not normally be lucky enough to experience, but now that we have, we will make sure to return in future!
