Absolutely perfect from start to finish. A real gem of a place. The service was friendly and professional throughout matched by the outstanding food, wine, fizz. So good we will definitely be returning.

Our ferry was late so missed our booking the staff got us booked in on the following evening the meal was fantastic the staff made my wife a fantastic cake for her birthday 🎂 I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough we will call again

Great meal, celebrating their 25 year anniversary. A nice menu. good food, cooked well. Lovely cozy pub, which looked extra special with the Christmas decorations and lights!

We visit York every year for my friend’s Birthday. We always choose somewhere different to dine. We will definitely return to Cut and Craft. We had a fabulous experience. We arrived 2 hours earlier than our booking as we were all shopped out and hungry! We were happy to have a drink and wait for our table. But Evie very kindly managed to find us a table straightaway. We had a fantastic table and were very relieved to settle ourselves in and get comfortable. The ambience was so warm and cosy. I felt happy straightaway. We both chose the signature steak and shared 3 side plates. It was absolutely divine. We couldn’t eat it quickly enough, it was so good. The dessert of peach mousse with sorbet and pieces of honeycomb was also to die for. I can honestly say I haven’t had food as good as this in a long time. Thank you Evie for looking after us and helping us have such a wonderful time!
