- CClareYorkshire •3 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis is our second visit but first for Sunday lunch and we were but disappointed. We were a party of six which was not a problem and no deposit was taken. We all went for need and had a choice of how we wanted it cooked “pink or past” which was impressive as a lot of places only offer pink. It was all very nice and the Yorkshire puddings were huge and beautifully crispy. Surroundings very nice a tables not too close. Too full for a pudding so cant comment. I would certainly recommend and will return when in the area again.we also had 3 dogs with us collectively and again it was not a problemMore infoThe Joiners ArmsPrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Alnwick•4.3
- NNickNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe all had a Sunday roast. Thankfully we didn’t have a starter as the main was a good portion. Really good quality and a good choice of beers. Bustley ambience but not so loud we couldn’t hear one another. We sat in the bar with our dogs. Best to book a table as its busy.More infoJolly Fisherman at CrasterPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Craster•4.7
- JJaneDurham/County Durham •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFantastic from start to finish. An old pub steeped in maritime history. The young waiter was fab, he checked with the kitchen as to which dishes were gluten free, or could be adapted to be. The crab soup was delectable, just wow! A big bowl full of crab and bisque, it was like a warm hug in that bowl. The flat iron steak special was lovely too. Cooked to perfection with proper chunky chips and a salad in the side. We were too full for pudding! The pub is dog friendly in some areas. We would definitely eat here againMore infoThe Olde Ship InnPrice: Moderate• British• Seahouses•4.2
- SStephenNewcastle and Northumberland •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoIf you believe “you get what you pay for” and you love seafood then this is the place for you. We only go to the Potted Lobster for special occasions due to the outlay however, we believe that we get value for money in the freshness of the fish and the superb way it is cooked and presented. The staff are always friendly and efficient and nothing is too much trouble. My absolute favourite is the scallops with black pudding and quince jelly followed by the Halibut. We have never had a single complaint when having lunch at this establishment and as we have a dog have only ever eaten in the dog section.More infoThe Potted Lobster - BamburghPrice: Expensive• Fish• Bamburgh•4.7
