Some foods were really good, e.g. the cheese tart starter, beef wellington, the vegetables, the vegetarian wellington. The fish 'n chips we good, but not a 'wow' and the choice of food on the vegan menu could have been better, but was OK. Sparkling water lost it's fizz and the diet coke bottle was small. Super cocktails whilst waiting for our table. Fairly quiet but not empty and really liked the feel of the place. Main meal was very good. No fillet steaks but sirloin was tasty and in general food very nice and tasty. Fig pudding I shouldn’t have had but was lovely. Great evening ad hoc visit fir the first time.
