Really good food as always, fantastic friendly staff

Breakfast here was the best way to start our day and the selection suited everyone, from my vegetarian full breakfast to the American pancakes with bacon and syrup and Full English the others had. The service was friendly and fast and we were very well looked after, as it has been every time we've visited. The Assembly House is one of my favourite places in Norwich and I'm happy to recommend them.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal - we all chose from the Winter menu - for a table of 6, very happy with the options. Service was exemplary, and our birthday guest was treated to a surprise chocolate dessert, which was so thoughtful. Lovely atmosphere for a Tuesday evening and nicely busy. We’ll look forward to coming back. Thank you very much - fabulous!

Perfectly cooked fish and chips (& huge variety of seafood) all served with a smile. We often go here and eat outside on the hoof, however it was a very chilly day so we managed to book a table to eat in. It is still dog friendly and a really enjoyable experience. We had a mixture of Skate, Haddock and Cod, everyone said their fish was delicious and the chips are something of legend. The only thing we noted was how expensive drinks were (£12 for a glass of wine), I opted for half of cider which went really well with my skate and chips. We are already looking to go back when they are re-opened after Jan.
