Our daughter treated us for Christmas but only just able to go. It was well worth the wait. Food was delicious and staff were lovely and very attentive. Thank you for a great experience

Great experience as always. Birthday lunch for my husband and we brought the in laws with us. It was their first meal at Potted Lobster and they loved it. We all had the fish and chip special, mine was the gluten free option and it was delicious. Thank you for lovely service we have come to expect.

The food was exceptional. We all struggled to choose a favourite course. The wine pairings were very well considered and we actually ordered one of the bottles online while we were still at the table. The staff were fantastic. Very polite and extremely helpful. I'd highly recommend The Jackdaw to anyone wanting a beautiful meal for a reasonable price.

Excellent restaurant. Food is first class excellent choice of wines. Service too was top class. All in all a very enjoyable experience and one I would highly recommend.

Good food experience. Dishes well presented and food really good. Good selection of wines too, although range by the glass limited. The venue did not seem to be aware that this was a special birthday treat. Cocktails to kick off the evening arrived after the wine, almost together with the first course. It did not seem relaxed at this point. But as the evening wore on, the order was restored and service got better. Overall, a good dining option and a worthy holder of 2 AA rosettes for the food quality.
