From start to finish we had the best experience and would thoroughly recommend The Horse and Groom Inn . All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and a credit to the Inn, great beer and great food was had. We both had steak both of which were cooked perfectly to our liking and delicious and the sides were perfectly cooked as well. The crème brûlée we had for dessert was 1st class. We stayed for two nights as well and breakfast on both mornings were of high quality, delicious and served by very attentive and friendly staff. The whole experience was perfect and we will be back in the new year.

The Stag at Stow was a fantastic experience for us, so much so that we ate there two nights in a row. It's a darling inn, pub and restaurant. It's divided nicely into a bar area and a slightly separate dinner space. We were staying at the inn upstairs, and loved the convenience of eating here, but were absolutely delighted with the friendly staff and the amazing food. It was very much the picture perfect Cotswolds space. My husband and I shared the venison mince as a starter the first night, then we did a shared steak pie for or main. Everything was delicious. We finished the first meal with the sticky toffee pudding. Our second night, we enjoyed a burger and the special ravioli. Our son joined us at dinner, a picky 5 year old. He ate everything he was served both nights. Steak one night, a special hamburger (free of the bun) the second.

An excellent afternoon tea for my wife and I as part of an early Christmas celebration. The staff were friendly and service was excellent. The afternoon was delicious, we have sampled many teas around the UK and the world and this one was right up there with the best. Will be returning in the future.

Came here for my daughter’s birthday this evening and the service was more than incredible. The food was beautiful and arrived so quickly! The effort made for the cake I brought in was brilliant and I highly recommend! Family friendly and staff were lovely!
