Had such a lovely evening celebration a graduation. The staff were super lovely and so made it an extra special evening for the occasion which was greatly appreciated.

Food is always good now. There has been great improvement in lowering the heat of the dishes making them easier to enjoy the flavours without burning the mouth. Prices are higher than most other Indian style restaurants but this is warranted due to the freshness of the food. £100 plus for two having popadoms, starters and main with one rice, the bread basket and three drinks is on the high side but warranted as long as everything else is top class. Service was very good and we felt looked after. The noise level was acceptable and you could easily hold a conversation. Again improvements have been made so that the background music was just that, background and not blaring out too loudly as has been the case on previous visits. All in all a very good up market place to go. Definitely reccommended. Well done to Mo and all the team for listening to their customers, making any improvements deemed necessary and maintaining those standards. See you again soon.

Love this restaurant, food as always amazing and the staff are also brilliant!

The malt shovel has amenities that suit everyone , the staff are lovely ,the meal was nice ,although I wasn’t keen on their coleslaw ,but that’s just me.Pensioners are catered for,and as I am disabled I worry about where the seats and the toilets are but I felt comfortable in the surroundings to partake both of these.I also felt that the staff would help me in anyway they could,.They have a play area which I didn’t look at but wished I had, but people have told me it’s nice.Next time I will look,and check if it’s okay for my grandchildren and great grandchild,thanks for a lovely experience
