Every time we come to stop at Mossyard we like to go to Gather, at least once during our stay this time it was twice. We really like the food and think it is reasonably priced all Staff lovely and very helpful. It seems to be a very popular place and gets busy, so don’t leave your booking till the last minute otherwise you’ll be disappointed and won’t get a table.

We had a wonderful night at Stravaig. I had the butternut squash pasta, which was outstanding. My husband had the filet, which had great flavor. Our kids had the salmon and prawn salad and steak pie, all excellent. Cocktails and great wine with sharing desserts, superb evening. Thank you to Pedro for excellent service and chat. We will be back anytime we are in Ayr.

Thank you for taking such great care of us on our visit for afternoon tea. All of the staff were so friendly, helpful and polite. The views were spectacular, the food was great and the drinks were exceptional 🙏🏻 Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome.

Had a lovely day at Sunday brunch for my friends birthday. The food was amazing, the view were lovely and we really enjoyed the buffet style for all courses. We had a 1pm table booked and it was very quiet when we arrived but got busy by the time we left so I'm glad we went at that time. I have a nut allergy so they had a chef come out and go through every dish that did contain nuts (there wasn't many, so that was good) We travelled 1½ hours to get to Turnberry but was definitely worth the road trip.
