I don’t mind paying for a good steak but this wasn’t it. AC must not have been working it was so hot. July in Dallas requires AC.
Law school graduation celebration with friends. Had a great time and the food was awesome
We thought the food was good but not great. Given the price, we expected more.
This restaurant is closing this week apparently - would have been nice to know. Really disappointing date night - shouldn’t bear the name Nick and Sams, more like Dave and Busters without the games but better ambiance, well maybe without a 9 year old running around the restaurant out of control after 8 pm. Loved my server and the gentleman that carved our steak, however one of the runners practically tossed our appetizers on the table, rude. Should have cancelled when the main restaurant said we didn’t have reservations - felt like a bait and switch. Should write off the tab as a gambling loss.
The food was considerably overpriced for the quality.
For the price I feel that the food should have been spectacular. It was not flavorful. The brussels sprouts were charred yet undercooked and crunchy. the 7 layer cake was basic, not delicious. However the service was great.
Waiter was dirty and had a bad attitude - food was terrible. Place looks really run down.
It was great! Food was awesome, service was great.
Good and service is always excellent. It was a great evening for us to meet with our new friends at this beautiful restaurant.
Daughters 21st bday
Expensive for what you get…. They need to reevaluate their lunch pricing for offerings compared to area restaurants.
Dress attire needs to be enforced!
Excellent food and service
wow. ate there 3 days ago and I cannot even recall what I got. I do recall having a bite of my son's burger which was pretty nondescript. best part was that I could get a reservation with no problem for a Friday lunch hour in Preston Center
Easy to valet. Good food, excellent waitstaff with pleasant atmosphere. Good for a business lunch.
Great food, great service, definitely going back for more date nights
Awesome birthday celebration spot! Glowing cotton candy and rainbow cake were perfect! Thank you!
The hostess didn’t greet me - let me stand their awkwardly while she looked at her computer screen...and she had already seated someone from our party. The wait staff was all Over the place - randomly showing up asking for orders when we didn’t have menus. Someone else asking to take our order when we had already placed it. Taking forever to receive our dessert - we ended up Paying the bill and almost walking out when it arrived. Also they brought the $30 special cake and a blue cotton candy to our table - we said we didn’t order it but the lady assured us it was for our table. Then the waitress came back and picked it up (it was not for us! She left the cotton candy). Then about 5 minutes later it appeared on the table next to us. And the restaurant was hot. Guests were fanning themselves, the hostess was holding her hair up. I’m not sure why someone didn’t just turn the a/c down. Anyway, lots of post-COVId kinks to work out.
Wonderful dinner celebrating graduation!
It was fantastic!
We had the absolute best experience. Because of travel delays we were running a tad late. But they saved our amazing chef’s table for us – – a major coup during a busy graduation weekend. I’m sad I did not get our servers name because she was an angel. The food and atmosphere were absolutely perfect.
Superb food and atmosphere. Must- visit!
We’ve come every year for Mother’s Day and it just wasn’t up to par this year.
Utter chaos for Mother's Day. It was a children's carnival and the opposite of a peaceful dining experience to celebrate with Mothers and Grandmothers. I was shocked kids were running around hitting each other with balloons courtesy of the balloon artists, fact painting, cotton candy- total kids atmosphere. I wish I had known. I would never had spemt what we spent time in a kid-centric crowded buffet. The opposite of luxury. It felt like being at a crowded Embassy Suites buffet with total chaos.
Went for Mother’s Day - they had face painting, a balloon artist and cotton candy for kids. It was a nice distraction for my kids while I enjoyed my meal. Buffet was great.
This place is excellent. My husband and I came for our 7 year anniversary. Our server Stephanie was amazing!!! She comped us some Champagne because it was our anniversary. The food was delicious. We had filet mignon, Riley, lobster mac and cheese, crab cakes, deviled eggs and caesar salad. All extremely delicious. The ambiance was great. Nice and Romantic. I will definitely be back!!!
It was my partner’s birthday. Everything was fantastic.
The food and ambiance was great as usual, but the service was absolutely terrible.
Service was poor restaurant was not crowded. Ordered the ribeye pastrami the meat was dry and the bread was barely grilled.
First Time, Friend who grew up here recommended. Santini(?) waiter was Great . Reminded me of Great NYC Steak House but with Better Meat! Couldn't do the Dirk this time but I will try it next time. Thank You for a Great Evening. 5/01/21
Overall experience was good, but disappointed in entrees and crab cake appetizers for the price as well as oversized asparagus.
It had been 2 years since we last ate here due to poor service and food quantity. It has very much improved and the steaks were good. No longer have baked potatoes bummer. The chocolate molten cake initially came out refrigerator cold , but they quickly fixed it. The place was full and the manager was definitely working to ensure everyone was taken care of.
I dined here for my birthday with a few friends. Overall, I enjoyed everything. The ambiance was great...there was a large table close that was super loud but Overall the table location was great. The food everyone had at the table was great...very fresh. The only thing I was not please with was the celebration cake they are so famous for. It’s overpriced and I didn’t get to enjoy the entirety of the experience. The cotton candy melted before I could finish eating cake. The waitress tried to convince me that it was because it was hot and humid in the restaurant. Nevertheless, I felt as though I wasted money on that “experience” since none of the cotton candy was salvageable. I would dine there again, but Probably not for a birthday celebration.
Overall good visit. Our server seemed to get lost during our visit at times.
We love this specific Nick and Sams location. It is our "go to" for all special events in our family's lives. They go over the top to ensure you have an amazing experience and will adjust according to your needs.
I miss the old menu and the grilled cheese sandwich is not as good as I recall, but the environment is sharp and pleasant and the servers aim to please.
Pre-Covid this was a favorite spot for friends and business outings. Good range of casual to high end entrees. And it was always packed with a fun vibe. Went for the first time in the "Post-vaccinated" era and it was quite a change in atmosphere. Much more subdued. (to be fair it was a Monday). Most of the guests (six or seven tables) were seated in the patio area with the bulk of the much larger restaurant empty. The food however was great as always. What surprised me was how difficult it was to get our waitress's attention. Not sure what was going on but we had long waits to order and long waits for the bill. Noone offered to serve the "group" sides and no-one offered to refill wine glasses which is a problem when you are seated at a large circular table. No one wants to ask "Hey pass the vino" :) So hoping it was an off night service-wise.
Went for son’s 13th birthday. It was fantastic. The food from the first bite of calamari to the bread to the main course and ending with the dessert was so delicious. But the birthday celebration cotton candy all lit up and rainbow 7 layer cake with sparklers made my sons birthday experience so memorable! Highly recommend.
Max at the bar rocks ! Table service so so
I really enjoyed the ambience of the Park City location. Of course the food was good and our water was excellent. As a courtesy of being newlyweds, our waiter gave us some champagne
