Noor Jahan 2
Sunday and bank holidays:12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The food is excellent, the revive good and the prices very fair for the location. BUT, my pet hate, they add a 12.5% service charge and then leave the card machine open to leave a tip. I think this is simply a deceit for the inattentive diner.
So, we go back for the food but get annoyed by the duplication!
Hi Noor Jahan was near our hotel and had good reviews so we tried it. While crowded they held our reseved outside table when others with no reservation were insisting on it and that impressed me.
It was very crowded with a few larger parties downstairs which slowed service but the food was worth the wait. Top Indian restaurant in Paddington area.
This is the best Indian food I’ve ever had. If you know of any better please let me know
First trip to London.
The best Indian food in town
This was my first time to Noor Jahan II and I was very disappointed with the service. We were a group of 6, taken down to the basement for seating and our waiter was not friendly at all. Felt like we were an imposition. Got our popadums and bottle of wine quickly, but then he was gone. Had to flag him down to place our order. We then waited 40 minutes for the food to arrive. So a full hour from sitting down to dinner. The food was delicious. But the service was very, very poor.
What a sharp contrast to the original Noor Jahan near Gloucester Road where the food and service are outstanding.
Very good food. Small and cozy dining area.
Great food, service was however a bit confused and rude.
Great food and service.
This place is absolutely delicious. I couldn't recommend it enough! The food was really outstanding and great staff.
Made reservations and one of the guys was late. They were willing to delay our reservation in the last minute which was very helpful. Food & service were very good!
A really good and popular local Indian with lots of regulars, good food and great curry. Tables very close together and staff a bit surly but it always delivers and there is a weird charm to their apathy !!
I come back to eat here every time I’m in London! Love it! Food is fantastic.
Great curry and every dish excellent. Good menu and decent honest ruby. Good local feel and regulars but you sit really close to the other tables. Fine if you are four or more but if just two of you then you do feel very hemmed in. It is though this popular for good reason.
Great Indian staples delivered a bit differently. Friendly and attentive staff.
A friendly restaurant with authentic Indian food and good vegetarian choices too. Price was reasonable.
Very tasty and spicy! We loved it. And service was great too.
Perfekte Entscheidung! Ein richtig leckerer Abend, vielen Dank!!!
Great food, service and reasonable. Party of 15 and they did a fantastic job
We asked our concierge for his recommendation on Indian food. He said this restaurant was the best. He was right!
The food, as always, was good, this is a cut above a standard Indian restaurant. We arrived about twenty minutes early for our meal so we weren't surprised when the servers were a bit slow to take our orders although even getting a few poppadoms was hard work. Unfortunately, the service remained a little inattentive, they are usually better than this but we had to ask twice for extras including the bill.
I'll still go again though, the menu is a bit different and the wine list good and reasonably priced for the location.
Delicious food. Love it. Amazing. You do have to be a little careful with the waiter. Both times being here I've ordered an appetizer or side and he'll quietly ask "2", can't hear the guy and just agree and end up getting more food than the table can eat. But once again since the food is great it's not the worst thing
The food was lovely and the staff were pleasant my only downside was that the restaurant advertises itself as ‘child friendly’ which is one of the main reasons for choosing this restaurant. Was extremely disappointed to find there were no child seats and my 9 month old had to passed around friends and family so people could eat their meals. Great place if you don’t need a high chair.
Always a wonderful meal: authentic, fresh, tasty, skillfully served and appropriately spiced Indian food. The management and staff are genuine and friendly -- but they won't bother you unless you want to speak to them. A super restaurant!
The food is really fabulous at Noor Jahan 2. We had four different dishes from Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Biriyani to Duck. In all cases the dishes were distinctly and beautifully spiced. If I lived near this restaurant I would be there on a weekly basis. A truly memorable meal.
Very good restaurant, good food, friendly atmosphere.
This is our one must go restaurant when we visit London. It's a great experience. A small very authentic place. Can't go wrong. Recommended.
My first time at this restaurant and I'll definitely be going back. Fantastic food, full of taste and excellent presentation.
Nice place for casual good for if you can tolerate the indifferent borderline antagonistic service
The foods was amazing, there are four of us. My hubby was on business in London and we invited our daughter and husband to join us for dinner. It's our first time here, we all enjoyed our foods as we like our curries spicy hot and we were not disappointed.
The service is like I was in Taj Hotel in Goa, fine dining. We will definitely coming back here! Many thanks.
The restaurant is only a 7 minutes walk from Paddington station. The service is extremely attentive and friendly, though, there are several waiters per table which takes a bit getting used to. Still, you are not left wanting for anything. The food was here very quickly and it was delicious. Served hot and freshly made the chicken was succulent, the vegetables were flavourful, the sauces creamy with a hint of spice, and the fragrant rice was very well made. The prices were affordable particularly considering the restaurant's central location. Overall a great dining experiences and highly recommendable.
The second time I've been. Both times the food has been superb with a variety of options. Speedy service by knowledgable staff.
I recommend the tandoori lamb chops for starters!
Brilliant neighbourhood Indian restaurant. Staff been there for long time so consistent great friendly service. Proper atmosphere and great choice on the food. Properly priced wines and beers.
Under staffed perhaps?
Food took over an hour and a half to arrive. Getting the bill took half an hour. Otherwise, staff were friendly and food was good.
The food at this restaurant is always superb, as is the waitstaff. I eat here at least once each time I am in London. I have never been disappointed.
Strong varied menu, everything fresh and delicious. Will return.
We went as a group of 14, for a meal after work. The service was a little slow but that was understandable as the restaurant was very busy and we were a large group. It did not matter as the place has a lively atmosphere and is good fun. There was a good range of spicy and non-spicy choices which suited our group as there was some curry beginners among us.
Great spot for UK indian cuisine. our large party enjoyed the dinner a great deal.
our only issue was that the wine list was inconsistent with wine served - bottle delivered was lower quality than that listed.
Excellent food with friendly service. Duck Tikka Karahi was particularly good.
Do you like lamb chops? You must try them, you will not be disappointed.
