It was a wonderful experience of good tastes and variety of dishes, and good wine, with good service by knowlegeable people, in a very pleasant atmosphere.
I booked NOPI for a special occasion and because 2 of our party are vegetarians I felt it would give them a good range of options. Food and service was terrific and it was a great setting. Would definitely go back to try the non-vegetarian options.
We hadn't ordered desserts and we really appreciated the complimentary dessert given us with our coffee to try( between us). Will definitely order dessert next time!
Great atmosphere and ambience. Excellent food and creative cuisine
Its always a special treat to visit NOPI and this trip didn't disappoint. Although a couple of dishes fell a little flat - the Burrata was missing the usual Lavender honey & thyme and the Radicchio Salad was a bit "so what". However Mackerel, Pork Belly and the Polenta Chips were fantastic. The best treat was the Coffee and Pecan Financiers - stunning!
A very pleasant experience. Perfect for a lunch with friends with a great variety of vegetable based, expertly seasoned plates to share. Staff expert and friendly. Atmosphere light and easy-going.
Really lovely flavours in all the dishes we ordered, would of liked to try the savoury cheescake. Really good prosecco and rose. Dining room a little noisy but better once we were sitting at table
Everything ouststanding, surprising, we loved it. One little tiny negative point only: the Courgette fritters that were excellent but too salty.
Tolle Atmosphäre und klasse Essen!
We loved our time at Nopi. It was our third time there and it is always such a treat! Great staff great atmosphere and the food is just delicious!
I’m quite the fan of Yotam’s food and often cook from his books. It’s a great choice for vegos and the menu offers some dishes that are a little more unusual which always nice to try. The service was amazing, the waiters know what you order (even if you don’t) good atmosphere and food was brought out very speedily!
Great food and attentive staff. Need to book considerably in advance to get a table.
Superb as always. Service is spot on and food is outstanding. Lively without being deafening. Highly recommended!
Special visit to London
Lovely service and an interesting menu. The chicken was especially delicious. Almost everything else was very salty, though. The desserts, on the other hand, were perfect.
Delicious food and amazing service, great ambience. The burrata, trout, and pork belly dishes were amazing.
Good food, excellent service but overpriced for what it is in my opinion
Really enjoyed our meal here, one of our favourites in London. The must-try is the apple, ginger trifle with celery sorbet, it's been on the menu since day 1 apparently. Really loved the pork belly, beetroot and duck as well. Will definitely be back. Only downside is that it's very pricey. £140 for 2 of us including a drink each so more of an occasion dining.
We expected good (Veggie-)Food, but what we got was more than that - a wonderful, creative and lightly surprising meal with lovely service.
Did not disappoint. Every dish was great and the atmosphere lively. We would definitely go back.
Lovely food - great presentation with imaginative dishes and excellent selection.
Buzzy and fun venue but with a certain understated 'class'.
The food was as good as expected given how delicious are the recipes from the cookbooks. The wait staff is extremely helpful and cordial. But the noise level was overpowering And, given how popular it is, the restaurant cannot accommodate any changes to a reservation- even adding one person to a table for 2 the day before. Really, go only for the food.
Beautiful restaurant and lovely atmosphere. However for the money, and the reputation of Nopi, I was very disappointed. The breakfast ordered fell short of expectations, the salad was a bit sad and wilted, the bread not properly toasted, the eggs - generous portion - but seemed a little tepid by the time it reached us, and the salmon was a little dull. All in all it was fine, but I expected excellence.
I chose Nopi because Time Out rated it for good echostics. But I had difficulty hearing my friend over the table. The host was great, but there was a long wait for our remaining dishes, that we'd ordered altogether. Very tasty food, overall good.
Love NOPI for lunch and dinner when we are in London. But went for breakfast for first time. Excellent. I tried Shakshuka for first time. Good, although not sure I'd have it again--very spicy. My wife had the Grilled Mastelo cheese, fried egg, pita bread, za’atar choice and it was wonderful. She ordered a side of bacon and it was the best bacon we had ever eaten--sweet and tangy--believe it is doused with maple syrup and paprika (!) after it is cured. Recommend NOPI for creative cuisine at all meals.
The menu had a nice selection with good variety without being too overdone. Service was very good and the food excellent.
Ottima esperienza cibo veramente originale e particolare
It was very special to have diner with Nopi. Everything was good, the Ambiance, food and service.
For me it was magic.
I came here as part of my girlfriend's surprise 21st weekend plans and I was incredibly impressed by this place! I'd found this place as I heard it had some of the best granola in London, as my girlfriend is a huge granola lover I called up to see what they could do, and they actually had 2 bags of complimentary granola waiting for us on the table which was very special! The food was very good, and the service was friendly and attentive. They even gave a birthday croissant with a candle which I hadn't even asked for! Based upon this experience I am definitely planning on visiting the other Ottolenghi restaurants.
Woke up in Chelsea having an urge for shakshuka breakfast/brunch . Googled where to go in London with good reviews. We certainly were not disappointed. We will be regulars for sure. Food was fantastic, great coffee.
This was one of the best meals I ever had. After years of making recipes from Yotam Ottolenghi's "Plenty" and "Plenty More" cookbooks, I was delighted to get the opportunity to dine at his formal restaurant while visiting London. The entire experience exceeded my high expectations. I can't recall ever seeing a menu quite so adventurous with so many unique choices. We splurged on a variety of dishes, and each one of them was exquisite. They were even able to accommodate my wife's Celiac's disease with several gluten-free options (though they were quick to warn about the possibility of cross-contamination).
Simply outstanding. Every flavour works and the waiting staff are some of the best in London. I personally would prefer a more expansive wine list with better value choices. I will be back
An outstanding lunch - perfect in every way. Can’t wait to go back. We tried all the veggie sharing plates, then main courses so chicken, duck and trout and finished with one of each pudding. All dishes were delicious. Service was excellent - careful, attentive and the perfect pace. Value was very good especially the main courses.
First time visit and it was an awesome experience with lovely new flavors and textures. Service was top class with each waiter seamlessly picked up where the other one left. The courgettes with cardamom yoghurt was so yummy and the icecream with chocolate soil and date fudge was to die for!
Given 5 stars overall as that was the overall feeling. The food was lovely, great to see vegetables celebrated as much as meat and fish and really good flavours. The service was friendly, prompt and attentive but in no way rushed.
We were seated upstairs and it was busy but not at all noisy. Downstairs looked good too on the communal table, nice that you can watch the kitchen from there.
Had a good laugh about getting lost in the highly mirrored bathroom! But not an issue at all.
Only possible point would be that whilst we took the servers advice on how much to order (2-3 sharing plates per person - we went for two and it was fine), it was a nice amount and a good recommendation but there were four of us and sometimes the dishes arrived with e.g. 3 fritters that we had to divide and for the price they might have been a little more generous. But we by no means went hungry and it was delicious, hence no detraction from the overall score!
We are both well-seasoned hobby cooks(as a hobby) who love to travel; to eat at fabulous places. We love cooking from the Ottolenghi cookbooks; and couldn’t wait to actually dine at an Ottolenghi establishment.
It was all that, and then some! Perfect ambiance for a romantic date night; not in a sickening sweet Hallmark sense, but in a grownup way - small candles, oil lamp sconces; yet light (no need for the brightlight on your phone to read the menu). Simple elegance.
Our server’s name was Maciej. Kind, nice. Never felt rushed. He was perfect.
Our food.... oh my. It was SO good. I hope one realizes what I mean, coming from someone who cooks with za’atar seasoning, black garlic, and adores truffle oil. This food will light up any die-hard foodie. We wanted everything on the menu, but settled for a starter, two sides (which each feed about 2-3 people); two mains and a small dish (polenta truffle chips). It was just about the right amount, without feeling the need to be rolled out in a wheelbarrow.
The Caliptra Bianco orange wine was delicious. The Saffron Chase and Jasmine Elder Tea cocktails are sublime.
All in all - a perfect evening.
Lovely, airy ambiance- whitewashed brick, bar and small tables upstairs; large family style tables and view of hustling, bustling kitchen downstairs. Every dish full of surprising flavors, beautifully plated. Couldn’t recommend more highly!
The food was delicious, service was great and I loved the beer.
Only negative was that the restaurant ran out of bread by 8pm!
After receiving The Nopi cookbook as a Christmas present I had to see if the restaurant lived up to the promises it portrayed
Pleased to find it lived up to my expectations, super service along with lovely some unusual dishes. We were having a birthday lunch and the staff worked out at the last minute who the birthday boy was so they could bring a special dessert for him,
Introduced to some " Orange " wines which I had never heard of.
Will definitely be back
