Perhaps we should not have booked our time! Or whatever, we sat at the corner of the table. That was great, however at the other end of this same table were 2 women, a man and a child. The noise level coming from them made it not very pleasant nor enjoyable for us.
The food that we ordered was delicious, beautifully presented and plentiful.
The service and staff was very professional, prompt and friendly.
We loved watching and listening to a real working kitchen, when we could hear over the other end of the table, which made it very disappointing.

Such an amazing restaurant and the service was spectacular! The food was divine and the only problem we had was we wanted to try more things but were too full to fit them in. Highly recommend NOPI, it truly is a magical experience.

Loved it last year, super disappointing this time around. Food was average at best, drinks were so-so, one of the waitstaff was outright rude. I can only guess that the chef or manager changed because this was a complete 180 from a year ago. Not worth the money one bit.

Outstanding food — four small plates between us plus cocktails, great service, would love to come back. Braised octopus was particularly good.

Really lovely staff and interesting flavours. Great if you are looking for a more ‘healthy’ dinner- it’s definitely not a decadent, rich meal.

Nothing special about the food and very pricy. We spent 200 GBP for two people to include a bottle of wine. A beetroot salad tapa style should not cost 10GBP not matter the choice of words NOPI chose to describe the dish, and whole chicken as described in the menu, that is a size of a pigeon and dry should not cost 26 GBP. The downstairs area of the restaurant is storage and a dining area. the cost per head, one pays, should get a proper eating/space room and not storage space. The downstairs has two communal eating tables, however, the downside both of them are close to the toilet door. What saved the experience, was not the food or the ambiance or the hostesses, but the actual waiter, who was a great sport, funny and kind and who was nice to acknowledge me that a small dried roasted chicken should not cost 26 GBP!

We are very happy that we did not chose to sit upstairs as it was far too noisy.

Zeer vriendelijke bediening.

Loved Nopi , we asked the waiter to select a series of share plates for us and he did a great job. Wine was good , food was fabulous and atmosphere on shared table suited us. I was disappointed in the dessert choices

Upstairs at Nopi has a lovely ambience - the lighting is better and it feels more special. Downstairs unfortunately felt like an afterthought to me. Being by the kitchen felt like they had just tried to cram as many people in as possible, the air conditioning was on really high so it was cold and the lighting was bad so it wasn’t a very cosy pleasant experience. The food was delicious and service good but I would not go again because it was expensive plus it is a communal table. Upstairs is much nicer and i would only go back if I was seated there.

I loved Nopi - I've been wanting to go for a few years now since I've been tracing my Ottolangui ancestors who I believe are all related to Ottolenghi descendants despite different spellings. I loved the communal dining downstairs, just perfect. Everything was just perfect.

A lunch to celebrate my daughter’s graduation and end of her A Level examinations. I booked the downstairs option hoping to have a view of the working kitchen but a very tall and pretty flower arrangement blocked our view. If I had known this, I would have booked upstairs which has natural light and lots of nice views. I live in Peru, am a fan of Yotam, I have two of his books, I have been able to make some of his recipes and “adapt” others and that is why I wanted to eat at one of his restaurants and taste the complete flavour of his ideas. We enjoyed most of the things we tried, loved the burrata, the beetroot and the duck entrees. I was a bit disappointed with the green pea pancake and loved the chocolate dessert.

We shared eight small plates plus some starters amongst the 4 of us. That was sufficient. No need to go to main meals, and more variety that way. Starters were not good value. Avoid. Wine and beer excellent. Didn’t have desert. Best thing about downstairs is watching all the kitchen activity and chatting with the total strangers you meet on your table.

The time has finally come: Eating at the chef who often determines what is on our table.
We were seated with 5, including a veggie and a vegan, at a large table overlooking the kitchen.
The ambiance, environment and of course the food are absolutely top here. Have tasted (almost) all dishes from the lunch menu and ended with the delicious desserts.
They will certainly see us here (or in the other Ottolenghi restaurants) again!
