Our Soho-based restaurant has some of the Ottolenghi trademarks – platters full of salads greet customers as they arrive, a menu which celebrates bold flavours – but NOPI has a very different feel to the Ottolenghi delis. The marble is white, the brass is golden, the art is dynamic, the pace is a little faster. Upstairs we offer individual dining tables accommodating up to 6 guests. Downstairs we have two large communal/chef's tables overlooking our open plan kitchen and larder. NOPI’s menu changes according to the seasons with bold flavours and colours, broadly based on Mediterranean, Middle-eastern and Asian ingredients, using lots of herbs and spices. NOPI is open for breakfast, lunch, pre-theatre, dinner, and post-theatre.

One of the nicest dinners I have had.
Small menu and great service.
The whole spring chicken was outstanding.
Recommend this place very highly.
Make sure you make a reso.

Had not been in 7 years as we do not live in London. Just as good as I remembered it, if not better. My partner has an abundance of food allergies and the staff went above and beyond to clearly mark up a menu of what she could and should not eat (including drinks!) Great food. Great service. Will absolutely return.

Small portions high prices
We were sat in the window , tables too close together - didn’t like the feeling of conversations being overheard . Felt like in a cheap local restaurant where as many tables as possible are crammed in .
Food - tasted ok , but not the gastronomic adventure it used to be at an ottolenghi restaurant - lots of other places doing similar food .
Should have a bar where can sit for drinks if arrive early and add to enjoyment of an evening out . Standing bar makes it feel like you don’t want anyone there - just want bums on seats for as short time as possible to keep tables filled all night for maximum profit .

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to NOPI. The food was excellent and the young Italian lady who served us and many other tables should be commended for her friendliness and eagerness to serve. She deserves a medal.

The only downside was it was very noisy and the tables were too close together. Perhaps soft furnishings might help.

Thank you very much. Our trip from Oxford was well worth it!

Never disappointed with NOPI, we were lucky to have our bar reservation changed to a table, extremely friendly and attentive staff . The food is great but the Chickpea pancake was slightly dry and as a dish not very cohesive, highly recommend the polenta chips and the pear kombucha. Would definitely return.

The food at NOPI is lovely! We shared plates and each one was divine. The large plate of sole came with the backbone, so beware before you jump in! The staff were friendly and accommodating, the cocktails were expertly made and food is to die for! So good!

Very good food and service. Always a pleasure to eat at an Ottolenghi restaurant... but Nopi is very noisy, not the place for the hard of hearing or an intimate chat.

This was my second time at NOPI in the last couple of months, both times for lunch. There were three of is this time and unfortunately our table was one meant for four so it was difficult to have a flowing conversation with the configuration. Square tables always present this problem when there are only three people. The food was delicious but it would have been nice to have the dishes described to us (as our waiter, Alfie, did the first time I was there). Food was just plonked down on the table and the server (there were many) just zipped off. Our main server had a difficult time finding a smile for us and she was really very cold and uninterested. The noise level made it difficult to hear each other (we sat by the window - nice but perhaps not so great from acoustics. The experience this time was very different from my first. The service really makes a difference. Without good and attentive service, or at least a smile or two, it is just another restaurant with good food.

We made reservations after the theatre only to be asked to place all orders in 15 minutes and no further orders would be taken. It was rushed and uncomfortable. Don’t accept 10:15pm reservations if you are going to rush your guests to order by 10:30pm. (We also arrived 15 minutes early just in case, but of course the table was not ready. ) and it was Saturday night. I was disappointed. It changed our night for sure. The food, however, was quite delicious. But I expect more from a Michelin restaurant.

The best meal we had in London! The food was so fresh and flavorful, the price reasonable and service excellent! Although the restaurant was extremely busy, they allowed us to modify our reservation last minute and add 2 more guests. We really appreciated this because we were visiting from Canada and had booked well in advance! I would highly recommend NOPI!

Nopi is a one-of-a-kind restaurant from a one-of-a-kind chef. The tomatoes with thin slivers of tuna and ajoblanco were one of the most memorable dishes we've had in years. The trout with watercress pesto and sheep's labneh was outstanding. And the chicken with masterstock was an incredible recommendation from our waiter. A special, special restaurant from Yotam Ottolenghi, one of the world's true culinary treasures.

The food was not bad but to be honest a bit of a let down considering how amazing I know Ottelenghi food can be. The burrata dish lacked flavour and seemed quite bland, our other dishes (aubergine, duck and beef) were delicious but the portion sizes were so small considering the heavy price tag. Overall it seemed a bit pretentious. This style of food should be served with a spirit of generosity and warmth but that was not felt here. The restaurant looks lovely and slick but lacks some ambience.

Ottolenghi is a genius and the creativity of the food in his restaurant never disappoints. NOPI staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Our guests loved it too. Worth 5 stars, only thing - it is still confusing that first floor for NOPI is normally ground floor in the UK and it was very noisy at dinner because guests awaiting a table are ushered in to stand alongside our table. If they have already been enjoying the evening before they arrive they are loud!
