Our Soho-based restaurant has some of the Ottolenghi trademarks – platters full of salads greet customers as they arrive, a menu which celebrates bold flavours – but NOPI has a very different feel to the Ottolenghi delis. The marble is white, the brass is golden, the art is dynamic, the pace is a little faster. Upstairs we offer individual dining tables accommodating up to 6 guests. Downstairs we have two large communal/chef's tables overlooking our open plan kitchen and larder. NOPI’s menu changes according to the seasons with bold flavours and colours, broadly based on Mediterranean, Middle-eastern and Asian ingredients, using lots of herbs and spices. NOPI is open for breakfast, lunch, pre-theatre, dinner, and post-theatre.

A pre theatre dinner for us and what enjoyable food. Everything had taste amped to the max. Highlights for me were the spiced nuts, the ocean trout perfectly cooked and feasted divine and the smoked ribs with mint and chilli. Service was delightfully friendly with a wonderful win suggestion. Our fellow diners were friendly. A lovely experience

Really enjoyed going to this restaurant. It had a great atmosphere with lots of diners but it didn’t feel over crowded. The food was adventurous with interesting ingredients and it all tasted amazing.

I decided to go for an Ottolenghi trifecta - Spitalfields a few nights ago, NOPI last night & Islington later in the week. I’m definitely not canceling my Islington reservation. The waiter made some excellent suggestions - aubergene something, something with truffle & a rib. As you can see, I’m not big on details but I know what I like, and I loved the experience

Though Nopi is an expensive option for me and my family ( from the Midlands for a 3 day holiday) it was a really special treat and well worth paying for! Each mouthful of food was to savour.

The food was of the inventive high standard one has come to expect from Ottolenghi/Scully. The wines were extremely interesting and we were given three samples to taste before ordering.
The service was quite outstanding.

We came from New York for our 30th anniversary
And it exceeded all our expectations. I’ve been cooking from
The cookbooks for years and was so excited to be at my favorite chef’s
Restaurant. Thanks so much for an amazing experience.

Fantastic food, wine and service! Three of us ordered the pre-theatre menu. Two of the mains contained seafood, so the restaurant added another main for me, since I have allergies. My two friends enjoyed both the trout and pork belly, and my added beef short rib was divine. We shared a bottle of wine, which was perfect. Thirty minutes after I left, the restaurant called to say they wanted to refund us the price of my non-seafood substitute! Wow! Not only generous to provide the substitute, but to call and refund 18GBP of our charges for it! Just go! I’m telling all my friends, as many of them travel to London from the US and Paris.

Fantastic lunch at NOPI, i was looking forward since long. We liked it so much that we tried another location (Begravia counter) during the same weekend to enjoy Yotam Ottolenghi's food once more. Congrats this concept rules! Please open one in Belgium!!!!

Very welcoming. Lovely staff. However we found it much too noisy so staff had to crouch down to hear and be heard. Food was good but the menu that day was too heavy on labneh/yoghurt which we found too rich. The toilets are amazing/frightening!!

The food was amazing with so many flavors bursting in your mouth. The combinations were creative and surprising and most importantly - delicious. The service was also outstanding. Before arriving, I had questions so I emailed the restaurant. They responded promptly and thoroughly - which was most helpful as we were dining with our 9 year old. We were on our way to the theatre and they were able to take care of us and not feel rushed in any way. Everyone, from the hostess to the wait staff, was friendly and professional. The experience was fabulous! Will be back next time I return to London. As an aside - I own most of Ottolenghi’s cookbooks - I love them all...which is what led me to the restaurant.

the array of salads is extraordinary--it's hard to choose and every one is delicious and interesting with unexpected flavours. the waiter was very helpful sorting out our choices and telling us if we had ordered too much food (easy to do, everything seems so tempting). The cost adds up--but we thought it was worth it.

As an Ottolenghi disciple this was a highlight of my trip to the UK. Our palates were delighted by the complex flavors, textures, and freshness of the dishes. The kitchen brings herbs to a new level! Our server was fantastic- knowledgeable and friendly. Don’t miss the mashed carrots and lemon dessert!

I had a conference in London but not enough time to eat where I wanted (planned itinerary) UNTIL my flight back to the U.S. was canceled and a replacement flight was not available for 2 days! The airline put us up at a hotel near Heathrow. As I was moping about my husband noted, “Hey, that Tube Station across the way is on the Piccadilly Line. Isn’t Nopi near a stop on that Line?” My sorrow turned to glee when I realized this additional unexpected 40 hours in London would result in an opportunity for a fabulous lunch at one of my favorite restaurants in London!

As expected, every dish was a gem but tasted especially wonderful under the circumstances. Nopi turned a disappointment into a delight.

Always great coming to NOPI. Staff is extremely friendly and professional. The shared tapas style dishes, always make for a great variety, and never fail to disappoint. All time favourite is still the savoury cheesecake! Only point is that they could change their menu bit more often, as I have been several times with different guests, but menu stayed quite the same. (good to have some classics in there of course, but also good to have some change)

If you are a fan of Yotam Ottolenghi - go. If you are not yet a fan - go. You will be. High quality seasonal ingredients combined into flavors that I, at least, rarely taste. The kind of experience for which one goes out to dinner.

I was travelling alone. I made a reservation on Open Table. Apparently for one they only allow you to sit at the bar. Such discrimination should not be so. I understand the desire of NOPI to make as much money as possible but single people should not be punished like this.

Food was delicious and my guests enjoyed it too. Only problem is that there wasn't a wide range of vegan options - literally only one main was vegan, and when I asked if the chickpea pancake could be made with plant-based milk, I was told it was not possible. I do think given the prices we were paying in NOPI, it should have been possible to modify our orders slightly. But, lovely good, great presentation, and friendly, professional staff. Not my favourite restaurant ever, but happy to have tried it and kept my clients happy :)
