Our restaurant offers stunning panoramic Highland views overlooking the picturesque loch where boats nestle and seals frolic.The Shieldaig Estate has one of the finest larders. Rare breed lamb, Highland cattle and its own deer herd can be found on the estate. Crab, lobster, langoustine, oysters and scallops are caught by hand right in front of the hotel. Salmon is locally smoked. The hotel has recently renovated the walled garden and has reinstated a vegetable garden, allowing for fresh produce to grow just outside the door. Menus change daily and is based on what is fresh in the larder that day.
