Good food. Service was a little sluggish, but that's why I expected given COVID and the shortage of servers. It wasn't too bad and the server was very pleasant. Prices are a little high for what you get, but the food was very good.
Waitress was amazing and fun to be around! Can’t wait to come back!
I haven’t been to Not Your Average Joe’s in some time. I was pleasantly surprised with the food, the service, and how this restaurant is run. Gerald, the manager, is doing a phenomenal job. We were glad to get to talk to him today.
Good food and friendly staff . I would recommend but come on time because staff will make a fuss..
It was very windy outside on the balcony. The meal was pretty good. The waitress was fine and attentive to our needs. Wording by hostess was a bit harsh telling us that no cash is accepted. They should say” I’m sorry but due to Covid we do not accept cash”.
Ordered a burger well done. Burger was rare the first time and then even rarer and actually cold and bloody inside the second time.
Kayla our server was wonderful.
All 3 of us had the Supercrunch salad and it was delicious! The outdoor seating was great. WE were told after 90 minutes we needed to leave and we did but thee was no one waiting for our table and there were plenty of empty tables all around us.
As dependable and delicious as ever!
Enjoyed a nice meal.
The upper deck is very pleasant, but some plantings to soften the industrial building view at one end would be better. We had a 10 year old in our group, and she was very pleased. Food was good and plentiful.
Birthday for me and my daughter.
i loved my experience at “not your average joes” ratchet ryan’s experience was ANYTHING but ratchet! the service was great, and the hosts were even better ;)
Really nice space, good food. Definitely coming back!!
We had reservations for a Tuesday night. We waited along time for our food (alittle more than 30 minutes). In addition the portions were not like they use to be when we were there over a year ago. I now call the place..."BELOW Your Average Joe's". It will be a good while before we return.
Excellent service and delicious new appetizers
This was a very disappointing visit to NYAJs. I have been many time to ones in MA, where I live, but the first time here. First we were seated outside next to a table with 4 very loud young teenagers. Secondly, I asked the waiter for advice or just information about the different beers on tap but she couldn't help and so I had to go inside to ask but none of the staff inside were very knowledgeable either. My brother and I both ordered the almond encrusted salmon. In MA they serve it with some pesto - none here. The salmon was a bit overcooked (dry) and didn't have much flavor. The broccoli was seared (more like burnt) and had no spice or added flavoring. The dish came with a rice/quinoa mixture which was also uninspired. Overall a bad experience.
The hostess that walked around to eat tables to chat with guests was a plus. He was so personable! The waitress was very attentive and nice as well. Over all great experience!
The charred broccoli with the almond crusted salmon was too charred. Couldn't eat half of it.
thank you! i had a ton of fun
Outdoor heaters not quite warm enough. Good food but slower service
The food was not very good and overpriced. The sangria also barely had any alcohol in it and was very sweet/more like a juice.
The place looks nicer in pictures, which isn't a terrible thing because a lot of places are designed to be--and look better when--they are teaming with people. I get that. (It of course wasn't full due to the pandemic.) The place is a mid-level chain restaurant along the line of a TGIFridays, with less of a menu. The host/hostess were pleasant enough. Our table wasn't ready when we were seated. It was more than five minutes before we saw our server, who couldn't have seemed less interested in being there. She didn't know much about the menu, and she felt like telling us she was nineteen and they wouldn't let her drink was her pass for not knowing anything about the bar service or even making the effort to get someone who did. We had to ask for water. Despite the reduced dining size, the kitchen was somehow "backed up" but we were still advised we needed to honor the 90 minute table turn. We were not offered dessert or coffee. The food, even for what it was, was just okay. This particular Wednesday night it was Less Than Average Joe's. It's unlikely I'd go back. King of Prussia is teaming with chain restaurants of better quality for the same price.
Our food took a long time to be ready! We dinned around 5pm, the place was empty too. My drink was terrible and waitress was slow to check on us.
The food was mediocre at best.
Food was grate
Potstickers, crispy bang bang shrimp & cheesteak egg rolls for starters. All very good.
Chicken parm for entree which was fresh & tasty would definitely go back
Outdoor dining was very cold because the heat lamps were not working.
The server was great, quick on checking up on us and making sure everything was well.
We want to top patio opened. The below patio lacked ambiance
Basic bar food. Not you’re average Joe’s is VERY average.
Great service and outdoor space. Food was great too.
Excellent food. Service was top notch. Highly recommend
Food is good but the menu could be a little bit more extensive
It was ok, food was fair. The service is always slow at t he Ardmore location. Bread was yummy!
The food was delicious as usual!
The food was wonderful! We had the cheesesteak egg rolls!
Menu is limited to literally five dishes and three sandwiches. Staff was inattentive, told us they are closing when I tried ordering additional items about twenty minutes before 9pm. I made a reservation and they were running 30 minutes behind schedule.
I like this place a lot but I will wait until COVID season is over to go back, as they have not figured out a good way to adjust like other restaurants in the area.
Friendly service as soon as you arrive. Compliments to the chef as our dishes were excellent.
it was a nice lunch spot. Food was good, sever was just ok. i wouldnt say lets go back but if someone else wanted to go I would no problem.
The torn plastic outside is awfullllll🤮
If you or someone you with is allergic to gluten, this is outstanding! For gf, they serve gf rolls. They have gf options for all their sandwiches and many entrees.
Great indoor atmosphere. Waitress was very accommodating.
My wife & I really liked the food and atmosphere. Prices are the only part I wouldn't rate 5 stars. Parking is a little challenging and you need to bring quarters with you to do so, but it's still worth coming here.
Loved the atmosphere and variety of the menu. Will definitely be back!
