Always food and service outstanding. Menu varied and creative and as usual cannot wait for next visit.
First class. Food was exceptional. Customer service was an example for all. Special mention and thanks to Susanne.
Fantastic from start to finish and one of our favourite restaurants in Glasgow.
Booked in July for Christmas get together and certainly didn’t disappoint. We arrived 30 mins late due to Taxi trouble and they were very understanding (we had called to tell them) Food and service was excellent and would definitely recommend. Lovely intimate restaurant
Great food. Great service. Pricey but lovely for a soeacial occasion
Lovely food. Friendly, helpful staff. A pleasure to spend the evening there.
Fantastic food and the service was very friendly and attentive
Great food and customer service at a good price, will be going again
Great food and service, loved the Spanish inspired menu.
This was a birthday voucher from my son and we had a lovely time...staff were so friendly and nothing was a bother...loved it!
Great food, good value for money and attentive service. Small but perfectly formed!! Would thoroughly recommend this place.
Could not fault anything.Staff friendly and efficient.Food excellent.goid value for money
Despite the immaculate presentation, the food fell short of our expectations given the high prices and other similar restaueant. Our waitress was lovely though and the atmosphere was also fitting for a graduation dinner.
Very good tasty food. Interesting accompaniments.
Comforting but with flair.
Excellent, welcoming, knowledgable, helpful, friendly staff.
Superb service and quality of food. There was an error with the booking and staff could not have been more apologetic. Food was outstanding, beaten only by the staff!
Small intimate restaurant, staff were warm and friendly and very knowledgeable about the dishes on the menu, happy to answer any questions and make recommendations. The food itself was outstanding. Probably a bit more adventurous than I'm used to, but the quality and flavours were amazing.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for fine dining in a cosy, relaxed atmosphere
This was the first timw we visited No.16 and it was fantastic. All 3 of my courses were delicious and the waitress was able to recommend when I couldn’t choose between 2 dishes. The restaurant is really small and cosy, with step free access into the building. Unfortunately that’s where the access ends as there’s no lift up to the 2nd floor and no disabled toilet. The restaurant is well worth a visit, a little gem in the heart of the West End.
Excellent food and service as always, will definitely be back
Was so looking forward to trying this restaurant after reading reviews what a disappointment! Brusque unpleasant server noisy and cramped . Soup started was nice salmon not nice and scallops average. The ravioli mains lacking taste thick pasta no offer of pepper or parmesan when requested reply was i will see what there is in the kitchen. Main course of pork - loin was chewy, cheek bon dry and pork belly portion was size of small fish finger was nice veg ok we ordered a side of deep fried potatoes - awful! Cheeseboard was left uneaten almost all in all a real let down wont return. Noisy background music in such a small space annoying. Am astounded at the amazing reviews posted on trip advisor for the restaurant and my daughter had given me a £100 gift voucher so for 3 starters 3 mains 1 cheeseboard and 1 coffe we paid £160 money wasted!
Never been disappointed at number 16, the food is always fantastic, cosy atmosphere, will definitely be back.
Out for dinner with my wife whilst at our annual holiday at our timeshare lodge on Loch Lomond , look at the site & follow other people’s recommendations & cannot fault anything, food service & surroundings are great. Will be recommending & with definitely be revisiting again
We had a wonderful meal at 16. Honestly couldn't have faulted it. The scallops-probably the best starter I've ever had! All of the food was delicious and wines superb, staff welcoming friendly and efficient, will definitely be back.
Fabulous as always: food is stunning.
Absolutely fantastic meal - my 13 year old loved the short ribs and the venison sausage rolls w turnip ketchup was exceptional - the heritage potatoes were soooo good we ordered another side - dessert to die for- chocolate brownie is not any old chocolate brownie - just fantastic
Small and cozy food really good
Would recommend and will be back
Great food, great service a hidden gem, this is our second time eating at Number 16 and definitely won’t be the last thanks
Was given a voucher as a gift, taken a while to organise but was well worth the wait. A lovely welcome and the food was outstanding both in presentation and flavour, with more than enough portion given to not require a follow up meal afterwards!
Even small touches like following up on wine by Googling and giving us more information.
All in all, well worth the visit, would defintely return.
First time at Number 16 and didn’t disappoint. Made very welcome on arrival and seated right away. Our server was amazing. Very attentive. Everyone in our party had different dishes which we all enjoyed. House white went down a treat. Well worth the journey. What a treat.
The food was delicious, v attentive staff, a great evening overall
Outstanding food and service once again! It’s easy to see why Number 16 is my favourite restaurant. Can’t wait to return!!!
No 16 is a small intimate restaurant with a good atmosphere. The food was excellent and nicely presented. I would happily recommend this restaurant.
Just wonderful. Cody. Friendly food is fantastic. Perfect fish and the venison was outstanding.
Excellent ambiance, excellent food. Flawless experience.
Outstanding value with a first-class, creative menu with ingredients that were excellent. Compliments to the chef and his team and also the front-line staff who were helpful, friendly and delightfully amusing throughout. I’ve been before and will certainly be back. This is one of the best restaurants in Glasgow if not the best.
Really loved our meal at this little gem. Food was delicious and gorgeous, filling but not too much. The service was excellent, professional yet warm. Cozy ambiance, relaxed yet upscale. We're so pleased we found this place!
Last week we visited Glasgow with 2 couples. I booked the restaurant a few days before visiting Glasgow. It had a nice and friendly atmosphere. The supply in the starters and the main course was not abundant, but every dish was fresh and very tastefull and exhaled a great creativity. The waiter was very kind and helped us to make the good choice for the wine accompanying the food. In mind " never change a winning team",
we begged him for a table the next evening. So we could continue the party.
I hadn’t visited Number 16 for maybe... 7 years and I wasn’t disappointed! Same great little place, made even more original and quirky in places. Like the individual painted plates and tiles. The food was spectacular - salmon starter was out of this world and venison haunch main was the best I’ve had. My Italian fiancé (riskily) chose the buttata ravioli and said it was one of the best he’d ever had. And would have paid double the price - even in Italy! High praise!! Our only small complaint was slow service in general and we waited 20mins on dessert which we thought was a little much.
After having read great things about this restaurant, our expectations were fairly high. Unfortunately, we felt let down that our dining experience did not meet those expectations. We rate the food as average for 3 of the four dishes, and the fourth was below average. The staff were friendly, but did not come across as being in any way interested in the dishes on offer or in us as customers. Overall, a three star rating is about as much as we, as a group of four, could allocate.
Been hear many times and standard always consistently good.
I went to Number 16 with my husband and family and we all really enjoyed ourselves.
The food was delicious, I am a vegetarian and the options weren’t restrictive.
The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great.
Would thoroughly recommend!
