    My wife and I celebrated 9th wedding anniversary. We had our wedding reception there also. The food melted in your mouth and tasted great. Atmosphere was great and the waitress did excellent job. Hope to see the 16 restaurants on my 20th anniversary!

    Booked at the lst minute with some work colleagues. I had the beef tartare and the venison loin. I can say this was one of the best meals I have ever had. The steak melted in your mouth and the venison was simply divine. Outstanding.

    As always an amazing dinner at Number Sixteen The food is of an exceptional standard and beautifully presented It is one of our top restaurants in Glasgow Our recent visit was on same weekend as a well deserved rave review in the Alba section of the Times The only downside is it will now be even more difficult to get a table so book ahead !!!!!

    First time at No16 and recommended by a friend, food was truly exceptional. We stuck with the house red which went really well with the venison all in all very delicious! I’ll definitely be back next time I’m over from Spain.

    I have visited number 16 on and off for many years, it has always been a favourite of myself and my family. The staff are always welcoming and helpful, the food is good quality and the place is well kept and it has a nice atmosphere. However, the past few times we've visited, we have felt a little underwhelmed. The reason being, is the menus. We have noticed there has been some menu items, for example, the pork belly, which have been on the menu a very long time. Because the menus are quite small, we wish there would be more frequent changes with this. We left it a couple of months before returning but just felt it lacked when we returned. If you haven't been before, don't let this put you off as its a lovely place but maybe because we have been so many times over the years, this is why we feel this way. Overall, great place and would recommend anyone to try

    1st visit here and definitely won’t be our last. Food was incredible, by far the best venison I’ve had. The staff were so friendly and enthusiastic and helped to make a cracking evening all round for us. Very reasonable for the standard of food that was served to us both. Massive recommendation from us both.

    Very good food as usual, we have been many times and it is always reliably good. Nicely busy at lunchtime. Only criticism is that both of us felt really cold in the restaurant and it took a while to warm up again on departing. Advice - wear warm clothing! No comment made either by waitress about the birthday celebration which I had made a comment on booking, it was my husband's special day and it would have been nice to have been recognised in some way.

    Nice brief menu. Still difficult to choose. My husband and I both had the venison. Could have done with those saw like knives for easy cutting. Good beetroot accompaniment. My sister and her husband had the beef and really liked the hot chilli like ingredient involved. Desserts good though expensive. Staff personable. Cosy atmosphere. All ages, didn’t feel ancient.

    We really enjoyed our lunch at Number 16. It has an extensive wine list and the A La Carte menu has a lot of choice. The three of us all ate different things and all were excellent. If you're in Glasgow go to Number 16. It's brilliant..
