This is a lovely little restaurant in crystal palace. Staff are friendly and attentive and the food is full of flavor. Will definitely be coming back to try the rest of the menu. My only negative feedback is that the mains were slightly on the salty side, but I'll put that to a on day thing. The bar downstairs is also a great after dinner venue with a good selection of signature cocktails.
Very good tasty food and friendly staff. Nice atmosphere.
Food is always good - I don’t need to look further than the lamb tagine each time I go!
House red wine is decent also.
Being a small setup you get good service and they create a nice ambience and atmosphere with the decor and music
Nice food. Great service
Genuinely delicious food. Really enjoyed our evening here and sound definitely recommend
We had a wonderful meal we all had something different. The service was excellent
Really tasty food in good looking restaurant. Recommend the lamb shank and spicy sausage. The layered aubergine and cheese starter was tasty too. Would go back again.
Food was lovely as always 👍🏻
Overpriced and pretentious. It's trying too hard to be chic and elevated but the quality of the food is mediocre and the service is sub-par. The ambience was deeply uncomfortable - up-tight and oddly sterile despite attempts at creating a warm, inviting North African environment.
I wouldn't recommend Numidie to anyone, and I don't understand how it has gotten so many good reviews.
Fantastic food and service, can't wait to go back and try more... Excellent decor too will be making this a local for sure 😊
Eating area was a little warm but the front doors were opened and it became quite pleasant. The food was delicious and piping hot (literally still bubbling!)
Staff attentive but not intrusive.
Would be happy to return
Fabulous restaurant. The food was first class and the waitresses were very welcoming. Will definitely return back to this lovely restaurant.
Delicious food and great service, we will definitely be back soon!
I would of recommended numidie to a friend a year ago when I last went but the last visit had poor service. We waited inside the main door to be seated but nobody came to us so we went to the counter to be asked to be seated. A few people we could over hear were already saying that the service was poor and even though the food was delicious the evening was slightly let down.
One of our favourite restaurants! Food is so tasty and the service is great, really friendly and efficient.
Food was excellent, great flavours, and very well presented. Good selection for all of us including vegetarians. Service spot on. Strongly recommend.
We were not disappointed. It was very busy so although waiters were attentive it did take a long time for our food to arrive. However the food was excellent and the wine smooth. The ambience was inviting and it offered an ideal venue for celebrating our daughter’s birthday
Very nice food and friendly staff.
Great. Its my 4th time in there and I will go again, definetely
The food was amazing & the ambience lovely. We stayed there for more than three hours.
Definitely recommended & will be visiting the restaurant & the bar downstairs soon.
i have been there few times and always had a good service and good food. it would be nice if i could go more often but enjoying bringing people to taste the food and appreciate the difference with what could be bought in the shop.
Small bistro with great food. The staff are lovely.
Great place to eat out with a nice buzz, food is lovely and the waitress was very friendly! I would recommend.
good food and attentive service. Lovely decor. Bit noisy from bass music next door/ downstairs?
Food and vibe was great, but as here was only one front of house staff member the whole experience felt a bit rushed. She was absolutely brilliant, but one person has a capacity of how much time and focus they can give to each table
The food was excellent. However, on the instance we went, there was no maitre d'. The Table service was slow.
By far, one of the best restaurants in South East London. In fact, the entire city. Your tastebuds will thank you!
I love this restaurant. The food is flavourful & always interesting, with dishes like quail, rabbit & duck in addition to more conventional North African cuisine like tagines & couscous. The service is friendly & efficient & they are open on occasions like New Year's eve, when the neighbouring restaurants are all closed. They also have a handy bar downstairs.
What a great find. Lovely food, cocktails and restaurant. Such a variety of food on the menu there is something for everyone. Will be back soon
I can’t fault the food or service (the tagines were divine)!however there was a private party going on downstairs which you had to battle through to get to the toilet which was in a terrible state.
Enjoyable evening. The restaurant was packed and somewhat noisy. That may explain why I was served with a slightly different meal from the one I ordered. I had to check with the menu when ordering dessert. 😀
Shared platter starter was slow in coming but we'll worth the weight and price. Main was to be chicken couscous, but came with bread. Loved it. Will come again for couscous!
Pudding: pear and almond tart tasted fabulous. Pastry was delicious and crumbly. Would have liked a second helping
All in all a lovely experience, but I would try a quieter night if there is one.
Beautiful food and great ambience! We enjoyed two platters a few tagines and the tastiest lamb cuttlets ever. Will definitely come back. Great house wines too.
We had a good meal here. We were sad the bar wasn't open for cocktails but the wine was great. The food was very good.. The tagines are super hot. They steamed up the windows! Very tasty. The lady serving was friendly and checking we were ok. Good find in crystal palace.
The private party down stairs ruined my dining experience.
But my food was exquisite
Chef did a profound job with our meal
Olives and bits were not rich in look and taste but the drinks and main were perfect
Sitting to close for comfort but overall the experience was ok. Will definitely order for takeaway but not dining.
Food was brilliant atmosphere was also great, would definitely go back again only drawback was had to wait for our drinks but then again was a busy night but was well impressed overall
Visited for Valentine's Day. Lovely food, really moreish and good portions. Would recommend the mezze sharing platter to start. Friendly service. After paying we were then invited to the downstairs bar for a free glass of prosecco, where a live band were playing. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.
My dining experience at Numidie was exceptional! Me and my went for Valentine’s Day. The food was to die for, homemade deliciousness with a fine dining delivery! The two waitresses that were working that night were brilliant. Very friendly and hard working and never kept you waiting. We were given a complementary Prosecco at the end of our meal which was a welcomed gesture.
The ambience was on point too. Me and my girlfriend will definitely be returning.
We went here for a birthday meal and it was fantastic. The tagines are very tasty and grilled meat was really good.
Usually very good. Little below par i am afraid this time around. Some of the food was not very nice. Credit to the restaurant they deducted the meal we were not happy with without us asking.
Lovely food and drinks, the place is beautiful and the people working there are super nice. Definitely one of our favourite restaurants in Crystal Palace.
Fabulous Christmas dinner... lovely service.
nice atmosphere food was brilliant have eaten here before for Christmas dinner and has always been lovely.
