Mozzarella di Bufala with Fried Courgettes and Pine Nuts
Fantastic evening at Obica - service was great & food was amazing! Highly recommend
Male waiter who took over half way thought was great
Lovely atmosphere and great service; the food was good but portions are on the small size for mains.
I was really looking forward to coming here as the menu looked really good and so did the restaurant, however, I was really unimpressed with the knowledge on allergens and knowing how serious they can be. I have coeliacs and the waitress did not know what that was, so therefore no idea on how important it is that my food is not contaminated. My friends side order got given to a different table and she got theres instead. Just really disappointing
Very delicious food at reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and helpful. Totally recommend.
Very slow service; we wanted to order dinner but no one ever came back to take our order.
The service was quite slow and we were waiting for our drinks and water for a while. When we followed up, we were told there was a delay at the bar, but that didn't apply to water... The food was good, and thdy have a good selection of wines. Price was it's reasonable, it just would have been nicer if the service was faster.
Great food, lovely staff
Staff were lovely, kind and helpful and there to advise and help. Setting was calm with a nice vibe. The food was tasty and good but not excellent!
The place is really central and it was almost easy to find a table there, however the quality of the food is avarage and not excellent. I had a parmigiana that was not really warm and a tiramisu' which was not really great and tasty, nothing specifically wrong with the food but I had higher expectations. Similar feedback for the antipasti, nothing special unfortunately.
Personnel was really professional.
Loved it, we all enjoyed ourselves and the staff were so friendly :) definitely will go again :)
The staff were very helpful and friendly, the service was fast and efficient and the food was divine.
We would definitely go back when we are next in London.
Really delicious food, fresh, cooked well, comfortable seating, would recommend!
Good pasta. Deep fried mozzarella bites a little watery. Service good, coffee very good.
Although we booked for 7 people and requested a large table in advance, we were only provided with a table space for 6 people and an extra child chair. This was very unpleasant for the guests who accompanied us. The manager of the restaurant was not sincere at all. The quality of the food was poor, and the restaurant was not worth visiting.
First time been here when it's been full. Usually it's excellent, but tonight service was slow and the food didn't live up to expectations a bit rushed really. Portion size was parsimonious . Shame as the experience here is usually superior to the run of the mill Italian eatery.
Lovely meal. The waitress got one of the orders wrong but they very kindly knocked it off the bill.
All in all very enjoyable.
Genuinely some of the best Italian food I have had in ages. You can tell everything is freshly made, and every single member of staff was so helpful and nice. Cannot wait to come here again!!
lovely food and service
Great service !!
Great food !!
Definitely going back
Service extremely slow, starters served before drinks. It took 45 minutes for our table to be cleared after the starters.
We used to visit quite regularly, unfortunately overall it was disappointing and we won't be going back again.
Lovely staff, would reco the mozzarella experience. We sat outside as it was a nice day.
Lovely food and service. Reccommend the cheese filled pasta and tiramisu, 10/10
Molto delizioso! Everything was delicious, and they certainly live up to being a house of mozzarella - great option for pizza, pasta, salumi, etc in Soho
Starters - Courgettes were missing and we had batter only. Terrible and greasy. I sent a message ahead that we are there for a birthday and please bring a pannacotta with a candle. I would have paid for it. But no pannacotta is sight and I couldn't mention it in front of birthday person. Will not return.
Food was lovely, I would definitely return to sample more of the pasta menu on offer.
Starters arrived before the drinks which were sat on the bar for ages and why I wouldn't heap praise on the service (although all the staff were lovely).
Only one ladies toilet open which just didn't make sense as meant people queuing in corridor.
Overall I enjoyed it very much- lovely setting and the prices for central London aren’t too bad. I would say both the pasta dishes we had were a bit small but I strongly recommend the pizzas.
Wonderful service and delicious food. Our waitress was so attentive. Thanks!
Excellent - very good food and very good service. definitely recommend
Nice place to eat out with friends, family and colleagues. Friendly staff and good ambience. Rated as good because I'd like to see them offer more vegan options across the entire menu as I felt quite limited.
Booked to have dinner here with a friend. As it got busier the staff really seemed to struggle, so service was slow waiting for water and drinks for the table.
Dessert was hilarious, we ordered a ‘small’ tiramisu each, but it was in a shot glass, smaller than a kids portion.
Suggest completely removing that option for the menu. Was an expensive shot glass for £3.50
Post theatre meal and glad we chose Obica. Pizzas were great and those with pasta were really impressed. Overall a great meal
Food was amazing! Easily some of the best pasta I have ever had. Came for a belated birthday dinner for my friend and we got a complimentary tiramisu which was lovely. Will be coming back again very soon.
We thought the food was superb - we all loved our meals and the waiters were really friendly and hard-working. Liked it so much we went back for pudding later!!
Great food and atmosphere, service was amazing, I recommend it
No gluten free options as in for pizza and pasta unfortunately, ended up having a handful of smoked salmon with a slice avocado for £14, still hungry and not quite the lunch experience I had hoped for.
London restaurants are always pricey; this one wasn't too bad for food, but drinks (alcohol) prices were off the scale.
One of my favourite Italian spots! Lovely place for a quiet relaxed meal in central
Lovely food. Decent sized portions for pizza, pasta was a good size. The bruschetta was delicious just small.
I hadn't been to Obica before but found it on Trust Pilot. We arrived early, 12:15, and it was very quiet but by 1:00pm it was filling up fast. The two waitresses were friendly, polite and attentive. A good selection of wines, cocktails and beers. We ordered a simple starter, bruschetta and garlic bread. The bruschetta was amazing; the flavours of basil, tomato and the prawn bruschetta with courgette flowers were superb - so tasty. My son and I both had salads for our mains and they were good size portions, well dressed with some unusual additions. I had raspberries in my smoked salmon and avocado salad which really complemented the flavours. I was really impressed and will definitely eat there again.
