We had a fab time at Obicà. We arrived slightly late which the restaurant were relaxed about.

We shared a huge mozzarella ball for starters (when in Rome!) which was delightful (the 250g was a good portion between 4), and each enjoyed different mains.

The best part were the serving staff - all super friendly, polite but chatty and attentive but not over bearing.

We would definitely return as we were made to feel so welcome, thank you!

The restaurant was really nice, food was lovely & staff friendly. My only problem was i had booked to receive a free glass of wine with main meals which I didn’t receive, when i asked about this when the bill was presented i was told I should have said so at the start! Nowhere on my booking confirmation did it say this & in the past when i have used another company to book offers i have not had to do this as it had always been known to the restaurant ad it is on the booking so this was quite annoying as it added an additional £15 cost to the bill which was unexpected

It’s always a good experience at Olbica. The food is good quality and reasonably priced. The location of the Poland Street branch is perfect for the Palladium.

Good food selection and staff is very friendly.

Our waitress was amazing, very knowledgable and just an overall pleasure. I think the food is expensive for what you get £30 for a plate of cold cuts and cheese is expensive but for me the amazing service made up for this.

Very friendly Italian staff who are knowledgeable and helpful when questioned about dishes and the types of mozzarella. I was given very good advice when it came to choosing wine, with an Excellent Verdicchio from the producers Umani Ronchi. I will definitely go back. Our whole family enjoyed the meal.

Nice place to eat, busy but not too noisy. The pizza was excellent. The service was good, except for one mistake where the wrong wine was delivered, but this was quickly put right. I would definitely recommend as a pre-theatre or venue place to eat.

I have been many times to the City branch and have been very pleased, so I decided to try this one too.
Food was overall ok, good quality ingredients as always with Obicà and great buffalo mozzarella, but the carbonara and the tiramisù dishes were not something extraordinary.
What was a drawback in the experience was the staff’s weird attitude that made us uncomfortable.
Maybe it was just this night, as I never had a bad experience with Obicà before!

Free glass of wine with main is not goodz. Tasted like ribena. Knife could not cut pizza. Why not giving steak knives?!? Tiramisu was too creamy and did not have the taste of ameretto. Would not rush back.

Amazing food!
Great place for a pizza and a true tiramisu. We really enjoy the Spritz jug.
The only suggestion we have is to change the cutlery, it was really painful to cut the pizza- which was well cooked. Also the concave plate didn’t help.

Food was a big let down. My girlfriend and I are here before. Food was good then. Both had the sea bass this time. Fish was alright. The veg was bland and tasteless. Something out of a bag of frozen veg from Iceland. Had a large group of women sitting behind us that were very loud and annoying. Staff never said anything to them. All in all not worth the price. Will not go again.

A group of 4 ate here, and we ordered lots of starters and just one pizza to share. The mozzarellas were all delicious, all the food was very fresh and tasty, and there was lots to choose from. The service was very friendly, and the robust Primitivo we chose to go with our meal was not too expensive. I would definitely recommend Obica to others.

It was OK. Nothing special. Had a light lunch of mozzarella and grilled veg. Had to ask for bread. They had a lunch special which was basically a limited choice from the menu and a soft drink. Service was friendly but I wouldn’t go again. Nothing to entice me back.
