Obsession Of India
Thursday - Saturday: 12pm - 11pm
Sunday: 4pm to 11pm
The food was fantastic and my pic proves that....!!
Great selection of authentic Indian dishes and chefs speciality signature dishes
See you again guys when I'm back in Glasgow
Looking to try a curry from a different restaurant from our usuals - which we love. Came across O of I on tripadviser as Glasgow no 1. Thought it was worth a try as had never heard of it. A good choice - really good food and very attentive service. Would definitely come back again. Matter paneer. As good as I have had - but so were the methi gosht and butter chicken. ... and the channaw piri ... and ,,,
Again and again I return to the best Indian in Scotland. We have many first class Asian restaurants here but this one just stands out............. its about the food!
The service the food and the attention was excellent. When we left the boss walked us outside to the taxi and even held the taxi door.
Good neighborhood restaurant. Better than Punjab in London was our experience. Listen to the waitperson when ordering.
Best nan bread I have ever tasted. The rest of the meal was well above average too.
I’ve been there a good few times now and it’s deinetly my favourite place to go for amazing Indian food .
This time it was amazing , delicious food and the staff are all lovely and helpful
The food in this cosy restaurant was just brilliant. Really tasty. The service was excellent. Staff checked up on us but were not intrusive. A wee gold mine in the city centre. Only downside was that toilets are upstairs if you have a mobility problem.
Best curry in Glasgow? So far I don’t know any better than this!
Food was of good quality, quite expensive.
I had a Madras and my brother asked for a Phall, there wasn’t much difference in heat.
Fantastic food and service already planning next visit
The best dining out experience I've had in a long time. The staff were so friendly and attentive without being overly keen or in your face. The menu is extensive with plenty of choice. I'm quite a fussy eater and for once I found I had difficulty choosing what to eat. The food was first class, the pakora is the best I've had. I booked for my partner's birthday and they brought out cake and sang happy birthday which was a really nice surprise. Not expensive either. Couldn't fault it at all.
Lovely, tasty food. No oil residue on the place and great flavours.
The service and the food were way beyond expectations, there is very little doubt that this is probably the best Indian restaurant in Glasgow. The restuarant was excellent value too.
Outstanding food and service. Staff were very knowledgable and friendly. Overall an excellent experience. We will be back. 10/10
The food and staff are great , the decor is dated and a bit drab .
The bar is limited but the service was very good.
Very good cooking. And the waiter ran after us when he spotted a cardigan had been left behind!
Had a really good meal here. We are not regular Indian meal diners but this fitted our tastes perfectly. Staff were very attentive and stressed that if we didn’t like something they would change it. Everything we ordered was tasty. The Naan bread was freshly made and the best I’ve had, thank you. We will eat here again.
Came here for my boyfriend's birthday. Was his first time going to a restaurant for an Indian meal. Service was great and food was amazing. Was highly recommended Obession of India through a friend and will be back. Thank you :)
Obsession of India is an outstanding restaurant. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival and were were very well looked after throughout our meal. The staff are excellent and the food is on another level. This was the best king prawn dhansac I have ever tasted.
This was our first trip. The chicken starter was good. The curries were nice but nothing special. Naan a little greasy.
One of best curries I’ve had, if not the best. Can’t recommend enough. Shame I live in another city. I’ll be back though.
All of the staff were very friendly and efficient. The chicken Balti was outstanding as was the peshwari naan. Would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine!
We had good service and food was good, more spicy than we are used to in our local area. The surroundings are ok, the restaurant was warm inside as there is only one central ceiling fan.
Had two different main courses, each were excellent with the curry sauces being of a very
high standard, most likely due the use of fresh spices and herbs.
Service very pleasant and not rushed
The lunches are excellent value only detracted by £2.50 for a small glass of soda water and lime,
although a large flask of water was free.
Will return and would recommend
I cannot recommend Obsession of India enough. I had visited once over a year ago on a short trip to Glasgow and when I knew I was returning I just had to book it again. By far, the BEST Indian food I have ever had anywhere, in my life. I talk about it all the time at home and when I hear anyone is visiting Glasgow it's the first place I recommend. Beautiful little restaurant. Not crowded or noisy. The staff a very friendly, helpful and respectful and seem to genuinely enjoy the work they do. If you're looking for a nice, relaxed evening with incredible food, then this is where you need to go.
This restaurant is amazing! Lovely, authentic Indian food made fresh. Options to change your dish for free if you don’t like it. There is an excellent vegan menu! Staff are attentive and welcoming and we will definitely be back.
Wonderful staff, great service, outstanding food and real value for your money.
Had a great time, really nice food, and they even made me a traditional indian drink when I asked for it, that wasnt't even on the menu! Service and hospitality 10/10!
Will visit again =)
Excellent food and service. Will be back. Couldn’t fault it.
Excellent food - very fresh, and very tasty - the lamb and spinach curry was amazing. Very friendly staff - lovely service. Would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone who enjoys a very good Indian meal
Really enjoyed meal - great variety on menu and everything was really tasty. Lovely waiter - very friendly and attentive. Recommend.
Fantastic food and lovely staff - best curry in ages :-)
Went for lunch. Very friendly and attentive service. Very nice meal served promptly.
Nice place will definitely return.
Extremely delicious food at Obsession of India! So great to be able to get vegetarian main dishes as side orders which made it possible to taste more of the many wonderful flavors in one single dinner for two. Truly a gem of a restaurant to become obsessed with! Unfortunately we live in Denmark….
Great food and great service. Would definitely recommend to friends
This is the second time I've eaten here and both times the food has been fabulous. It's well presented and tastes fresh - none of the bright red colouring that so often appears in Indian restaurant dishes.
The staff are friendly and the restaurant is cosy and nicely decorated.
It's definitely my go-to restaurant when in that part of town!
Food was fantastic we enjoyed everything from start to finish. Doesn't look much from outside but could not fault anything
Delicious! Chicken curries & keema nan we’re exceptional
First time visit, went based on previous reviews and was close to where we were staying. Food was excellent, many interesting dishes not seen at other Indian restaurant. Would definitely recommend.
