Obsession Of India
Most common traditional curry in subcontinent. Medium hot and give you fresh mouth watering taste
Marinated chicken coated in seasoned batter and deep-fried
Medium spiced marinated chicken drumsticks grilled in slow fire in the clay oven. Something very special with a chilled beer!
Food and service were both excellent!
Would highly recommend.
The waiter recommended the dishes both myself and my friend had for our main course and got them a spot on!
This restaurant served wonderful food but the experience was somewhat spoiled by the desire of the owners to pack as many people in as they can during the opening hours such that you feel you are constantly being watched to see how far through each course you are. After our starters and main course dishes the customary hot hand cloth was bought to our table. We were not even offered a dessert - it was like they wanted us out of there as soon as possible.
If you put that to one side, the quality of the food was very good and not over salted which is too often the case when I visit an Indian restaurant.
I had chicken tikka bhoonac and it was amazing as usual.wouuld highly recommend this restaurant and staff are very friendly and helpful.
The food was okay but the amount of rice for 2,5£ was a joke roughly 3 spoons. Same with chicken pakora 5,5£ for 3 small strips? Will come back for lunch but not for a dinner.
Great food and atmosphere for a good price. Will definitely be back.
Best restaurant I have been to in Glasgow … recommend rice and lamb chops …awesome
We really enjoyed the curry. Really nice flavour with moderate heat. Pakora portion size was a bit small. Spicy onions were good. Restaurant was really busy but it was a weekend night. We will return
Excellent would recommend for a reasonable tasty meal
If you like a curry you definitely have to go here you will not regret it!
Second time we have visited this restaurant and second time we have been very impressed best Indian we have been too *
A nice restuarant on the cusp of Merchant City with good food, service and a nice atmosphere with authentic music and paintings/murals/
The food is really excellent; beautiful non oily sauces and light vegetable pakora. Will return
Excellent another great meal.. Thanks.
Outstanding food. Best regional Indian food I have had and remember to book as it was a constant flow of people.
Fantastic little curry house. Excellent menu that should suit everyone. Where else can you get lamb on the bone? Lovely staff, highly recommended.
The best Indian I have had in a long time , fantastic
Visiting Glasgow and enjoy a curry, not disappointed. The food was excellant.
A lovely, welcoming venue. The food was very tasty and just the right amount. Service was very good. Will most definitely return.
Great from start to finish, can wait to go back...
Great food, great service, will definitely go back.
My boyfriend and I celebrated our 5th anniversary at Obsession yesterday. The food was amazing and the staff was lovely. Highly recommended 👌

Staff and Food Amazing!!!!!!!
Food was incredible and so tasty ....
Staff were terrific, was my mums birthday and they even got full restaurant to sing Happy Birthday!!

Thank you obsession Of India
Probably the best Indian I’ve ever had, the garlic naan is amazing and the curries come in good portions. The rice portions could have been bigger but overall a great experience and I’d definitely recommend.
Lovely authentic Indian restaurant.
Lamb was melt in your mouth quality and flavours were amazing.
Best chicken pakora I’ve ever eaten and their pakora sauce was unique.
Staff were knowledgeable and friendly.
Can’t wait to return in the future.
Found via trip advisor as we are on a tour of Scotland and didn’t know where to go in Glasgow!
Turned out to be a brilliant place to eat, fab service and lovely little place to eat. Only minor downside was our table was right on the edge by the servers and pathway to the toilet…but that’s the only downside!
Would happily return or recommend to others! 😄
We found Obsession of India by chance and have loved it ever since! It's not a big restaurant, and it lives in a busy High Street that is overrun with shop signage. But, as unobtrusive as it is, it's well worth a visit. The food is well priced and full of flavour from the staples of chicken and vegetable pakora to the treat of lamb chops and fish pakora. For main we have the dansac as a staple and tried the jiapuri as a new dish to try. Cannot fault any of the dishes we had. The service also deserves high praise as you are made to feel welcome with plates cleared and dishes ordered without any fuss at all or feeling you are being rushed. Unfortunately in these strange times I also feel the need to review COVID safety within the restaurant. Obsession of India have done this well. As mentioned, it is not a massive restaurant but all tables are well organised and hand sanitiser is abundant on every table. You also ring a bell at the door for staff to then let you in for your booking.
Quality food. Exceptional service. The waiter couldn't do more for us. Great experience
Lovely service, great food and nice atmosphere. Would definitely go back. 😊
Excellent restaurant. Food amazing. Best service ever..,would definitely recommend .
Absolutely amazing. 10/10 will come back next time I’m back in Glasgow!
We live in Bristol but head for Obsession of India every time we visit Glasgow. We always recommend it to our friends. The food is superb and the staff very friendly.
First time there and food was amazing, staff so friendly will definitely be back 😁
would highly recommend this beautiful restaurant. Food was very enjoyable and not over filling. Staff are extremely friendly, highly attentive and do not make you feel rushed. If you enjoy the foods of India then this is the place for you. I will definitely be returning to try out the other options on the menu.
Best Indian meal I have ever had, excellent service and friendly staff.
Great food, excellent service - all of the staff were so nice.
We have come to this restaurant on a few occasions which should explain the high regard and quality. Excellent food and service, recommended
I would definitely recommend this small and friendly restaurant. The food and service were excellent
Food delicious but portions size rather small. One of our party remarked could eat same again.
